It would be interesting to see how you handle the SA time zones. It seems as if your brain is longing for Africa time :p
well, back in the day when I was not a child, but not yet an adult...... somewhere in those akward mid/late teen years, I was almost convinced that the Lord wanted me to go do missionary work in Africa.........
of course that was when I was very niave and my only impressions of it were that of jungles.... you know. The kind of false impressions that money hungry "evangelist" paint.
Well, I grew up, learned not to be influenced by such person and am now right where the Lord has led and wants me to be

(In my cold basement, snuggled under a super soft cozy blankey, eating messy cheetos at 2 in the morning.........)

One of our friends is getting married to an American girl that has been doing missionary work in SA for a while now. She believe that she was called for Africa and she is doing it. Maybe God will still use you in Africa someday when you are not so young and naïve anymore :p

In South Africa there is no jungle. We have the bushveld and the deserts and a small forest in Knysna :)

Well, this blankey is wanting to snuggle more, and my eyes are doing this weird thing where I think I'm blinking, but they stay shut for a minute.........

Gandy is up, and I reckon Miss Ruby will be here soon too.
Ya'll have a blessed day!

Well maybe everyone can move to Aus and work in my imaginary cafe. I need good coffee makers and bakers and chefs. You will have to get used to the heat though. For the past two weeks or so it had been above 35 degrees with not much relief.

A new lady was talking on my small zoom group the other day. She attended Hillsong for the very first time and said that from the moment she stepped in to the time she left they continually pushed and asked for money. She said she will never go back there again. Sad really. They seem to have a big following and their music is nice. How sincere it is though, may be another question. The other thing I saw on you tube about their pastor is he seems to think our God is the same as Allah :eek::eek:

Has anyone tried coconut yoghurt? It is non dairy made from coconut milk. Surprisingly it is really nice. It is not sour like normal yoghurt but has a slight sweetness and is rich.

Morning all,

I saw this yummy recipe on TV of a stuffed cob roll (big round roll, big enough for a family)
Basically you cut the roll in half horizontally and remove the inside bread. You then layer it with different continental meats and pickled continental veggies such as artichoke, pepper, olives etc and swiss cheese filling up the inside of the cob roll. Pack it in replace the top half of the loave then stick it in the fridge overnight. Hmmmmm yum.

When you cut it open it is like making one giant sandwich with each person getting a slice big enough like their very own sandwiches instead of making individual ones. I love continental anything lol.
