Through various discussions on the board here. It seems there is a view that there are two gospels.

Basically it says that Jesus taught a different gospel than that of Paul. Are there two gospels? One that Jesus taught then a different one that Paul taught?
There is only one Gospel and Paul taught on that the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ. HIS death, His Burial, and His Resurrection.

Jesus came to preach the Kingdom and testify of the truth. Jesus did not have to preach the Gospel HE is the Gospel.

Luke 9.6 was called ' the gospel ' that they preached ,which Jesus preached that was not what we preach today. We preach christ crucified . The Gospel ( in a nut shell ) is 1 cor 15 1- 4 .

Preaching what they preached in Luke 9.6 could not save any one today.

Christ preached the Gospel of The Kingdom, and without His 'death-burial-resurrection',
which are an integral part of the Gospel of The Kingdom, for without these we cannot ENTER into TKOG...
as it is written;
1COR. 15:50.
Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit The Kingdom of God; neither does corruption inherit incorruption.
it is clearly 'ONE GOSPEL',
as Paul says;
GAL. 1:8.
But though we, or an angel from heaven, 'preach any other gospel' unto you than that which' we have preached unto you',
let him be accursed.
Christ is The Master and Teacher, and Paul is His chosen disciple, not the 'other-way-around', as so many 'falsies'
TRY to/and teach...

The ' Gospel ' means good tidings / news . Our good news is that Jesus has died for the sins of the world . And was raised for our Justification. That He reconciled the world to himself , not counting their trespasses against them . None of that was the good news prior to the cross. Thier good news was ' the kingdom ' .
1) The Kingdom
2 ) christ crucified/ resurrection for our sins.
= 2 separate good news .

Which verse says this please? Your adding the two together assuming that's what they were preaching .

Jesus and Paul -two different gospels?

The answer is no. Within the full message of the Gospel Good news:

Jesus provided much on the good news. Paul did not change the message he amplified it.

Galatians 1:6-9

Only One Gospel

6I marvel that you are turning away so soon from Him who called you in the grace of Christ, to a different gospel,

7which is not another; but there are some who trouble you and want to pervert the gospel of Christ.

8 But even if we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel to you than what we have preached to you, let him be accursed.

9 As we have said before, so now I say again,

if anyone preaches any other gospel to you than what you have received, let him be accursed.

Paul very clearly states there is only one Gospel.

tf,
maybe it's time for you to find another 'play-ground'???
ONE GOSPEL, many aspects!!!
as we have stated before, you are so transparent, it's embarrassing!!!

Again, you are mis reading ..Where does he say " there is only ONE Gospel ' thats you reading sermons into the text. Just like when everyone says Paul fell of his horse on the road to Damascus. Its not what it SAYS.
Paul says " than what you received"

That's like saying if you recieved another letter other than the one I posted do not believe it .

It means ' other than ' . the one Paul preached to them . The question is which Gospel ( good news ) did they recieve ?

I've never heard the idea that Paul taught a different Gospel, but he did teach some things that seemed odd. One is that he taught "freedom in Christ," but then says that women should remain silent in church. That doesn't sound like freedom to me, or, "there is there male nor female" in the Body of Christ. Well . . . apparently there is.

You guys must spend hours and hours trying to explain what the gospel is to people today . Maybe thats what happened when Paul was preaching and that guy fell out the window that time . He was probably having to read the entire bible to him .

Paul also said "I say not by the letter of the law" and then he also said " it is not I but God" who says

we must ensure we quote Paul correctly.

The entire Plan of how Jesus redeems all that the Father has given to Him, the lifting of the Curse brought on by Adam and Eve.
If you were to look for a verse that says what the Gospel is where would we find it ?.⁰

this pretender of righteous behavior tries their very best to flavor the Holy with scum -
he says what he must to try and get your trust, such a disgusting lot we've never seen -
lean on his staff and a serpent will bite -mix right and wrong is a theme song they sing,
and quite often it softens their BITE of venom -
they will sell you short and retort what s sucker you were -
there is NO CURE for their disease,
PLEASE understand, they are Rotten to the core...
