I understand completely what it means

what you fail to see is the law showed exactly how their sins were forgiven, the blood was splattered on the mercy seat, the judges looked down and could both see what God had against them (the tablets of death, Arron’s rod that budded and the manna) hence their sins were “covered” by the blood

this is what imputed righteousness is my friend
Sins being covered and being imputed righteousness are not equivalent.

But as you agreed, there is no scripture, so all these are your inferences.

That's my point.

WOW...you decry Christs' level of righteousness in you?
Unbelievable!!!

Your post is missing the reference....?

I ask you again to please answer me:

Do you think you have NO SIN, or GAVE UP SINNING ? ? ?

2 Timothy 1:9 (HCSB)
9 He has saved us and called us with a holy calling, not according to our works, but according to His own purpose and grace, which was given to us in Christ Jesus before time began.

Titus 3:5-7 (HCSB)
5 He saved us
not by works of righteousness that we had done, but according to His mercy, through the washing of regeneration and renewal by the Holy Spirit.
6 He poured out this ⌊Spirit⌋ on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Savior,
7 so that
having been justified by His grace, we may become heirs with the hope of eternal life.

Ephesians 2:8-9 (NJB)
8 Because it is by grace that you have been saved, through faith;
not by anything of your own, but by a gift from God;
9
not by anything that you have done, so that nobody can claim the credit.

Romans 11:6 (NASB)
6 But if it is by grace, it is no longer on the basis of works, otherwise grace is no longer grace.

The new age religion group always turns things we must do..... into works...(their words) and then rejects them.
My advice...study the Bible and do God's commandments.
The old age religious groups want to turn works into non works.
just like religious Jews, who claimed we MUsT DO all these works, who were condemned by Paul and Jesus and others as false teachers and fools,

Sin being covered is because of imputed righteousness, it was Christ righteousness that allowed him to shed his blood, if he was not perfect, we would all be doomed

you do not understand the gospel at all my friend,

When you are imputed with Christ righteousness in the Body of Christ, God looks at you as if you have never sinned.

Its more powerful than merely covering sins.

:LOL::LOL::LOL::LOL:

what do you think the blood does? It washes and makes us as white as snow, it covers the charges God has against us, it makes us appear as we have never sinned.

once again man, you need to rested the gospel and what saves a sinner from his sins, in all ages. The law showed you what it was, Christ made Abraham righteous based on his knowledge of what his son would do,

he makes us righteous based on his knowledge of what his son did,

same righteousness, same blood which washes, only one looks forward one looks back.

Again, where is the scripture that states that the OT saints, David and Samuel etc, had the imputed righteousness of Christ in them?

Again

How could they be saved apart from that?

And who's righteousness do you think was imputed to Abraham? His own?

You keep demanding answers to your questions. Yet you have not answered my own questions to you about who's righteousness was imputed to abraham and how were they saved by their own righteousness?

Answer my question about whos righteousness was imp[uted to Abraham or we are finished.

So still no scripture for any of your points?

I already stated that all the OT saints, including Abraham, are in Paradise/Abraham's bosom, waiting for Christ's return for Israel, before receiving their forgiveness of sins as part of the nation Israel (Acts 3:19-21, Romans 11:26-27).

This may help...

According to Scripture, God's righteousness which is by the faith of Jesus Christ was not available to those OT saints.

Galatians 3
22 But the scripture hath concluded all under sin, that the promise by faith of Jesus Christ might be given to them that believe.
23 But before faith came, we were kept under the law, shut up unto the faith which should afterwards be revealed.
24 Wherefore the law was our schoolmaster to bring us unto Christ, that we might be justified by faith.
25 But after that faith is come, we are no longer under a schoolmaster.

The law was our schoolmaster to bring us unto the faith of Christ. But after that faith is come (Christ's faith which is the righteousness of God) we are no longer under the law.

Romans 3
21 But now the righteousness of God without the law is manifested, being witnessed by the law and the prophets;
22 Even the righteousness of God which is by faith of Jesus Christ unto all and upon all them that believe: for there is no difference:

The righteousness of God is NOW made manifest...and it is by the faith of Jesus Christ!

Again, A waste of time. This stuff that ONLY OT saints are there is not found in scripture and does not answer my question.

Moving on.. Because this is a waste of time. As all of my discussion with you tend to be

Well I will leave you and your "religious" view between you and God. My prayer is that He will open up your heart and mind to come to an understanding of what His Plan of Salvation is all about. If anyone has a "new age" view of God and His plan of redemption, it seems to be you.

....Only if you maintain that status of ... born again...and righteous..... until the end. We are not saved until God judges us after death and says so.
There is a future tense of salvation (of the body) but there is also are present tense and a perfect tense aspects of salvation (salvation of the soul).

Just because you disagree with others interpretation of scripture, and fail to persuade them to have your interpretation instead, does not mean discussions are a waste of time.

Why not just be cordial in your interactions with others, no matter who they are?

At least we have established that there is no scripture stating the OT saints have the imputed righteousness of Christ.

If you still want to believe in that doctrine, you are of course free to do so.

Do you Believe you are Sinless or have stopped Sinning ? Do you believe in the HOLY TRINITY ?
