Jesus brought a new way to be saved. I think God's people are still his people. I don't think God is going to toss them into Hell because they didn't realize who the savior was. They have to follow old rules to have the chance at being saved.
So long as they remain the covenant of Law that God made with Israel, they will be placed in Abraham's bosom/Paradise at their deaths.
When Jesus returns for Israel in his 2nd coming, then they will receive their salvation from sins (Romans 11:26-27, Acts 3:19-21)
Christ’s life, not his death is what saves. (Rom. 5:10; 1 Cor. 15:17)
Atonement is one component of many components in salvation. It alone is not what saves. (Tit. 3:5; Rom. 5:10)
Atonement is a prerequisite for salvation, not the execution of it. (Rom. 5, 8; 2 Cor. 5; Tit. 3:5).
The Atonement must be received. (Rom. 5:11, 17; Jn. 1:12; 1 Cor. 15:1-4)
The Atonement does not glorify anyone. (Rom. 8)
Belief that salvation for anyone was secured on the cross constitutes a denial of the necessity of the resurrection (1 Cor. 15:17)
So you are coming up with evidence yourself that being in the body of Christ isn't enough. Almost as if there are tiers to salvation.
Christ's life is testimony to the Father's acceptance of the atonement. Christ's resurrection is testimony to us that we will be made like Him and receive life after death. Christ's resurrection is testimony to His deity.
The atonement satisfied the demands of the righteousness of the Father.

4 According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love
Wouldn't this mean everyone is in the body of Christ by default? The death would also be for everyone by default. There are still additional steps for anyone to be saved.

Were all believers ( before they existed ) in him together at the same time ?
Why can't you get that sins are of human body? Believing in Him is the Truth of the mind and heart.
It's amazing how people who have studied the Bible for so long don't understand how God and his people are likened to a husband and wife, of one body. OT and NT believers, one in Christ, one in God.

Being dunked in water is not required to be baptized by the Holy Spirit of God.
