Hey @shittim
What color is your reloading press? Unlike my politics, I'll roll blue with my reloading.

Yep, a Blue Square Deal B for 9mm, a Dillon 550 for everything else, I do have a single stage Lee "O" press and a RCBS Partner press, and a Lee hand press.

Does anyone else here own a biometric pistol safe that runs on a rechargeable lithium battery? A little while back, my battery stopped working in my Bill Conch biometric pistol safe and when I tried to charge it, it would not charge. I emailed Bill Conch and they said that they would send me another battery, since I have not owned the safe for very long. Well, it's been 2 months and I still have not received a battery. They pulled a bait and switch on me! Will I have to order a new battery through the Bill Conch website or can I get one somewhere else? I tried searching Amazon and other outlets, but the exact battery doesn't seem to come up.

I'm thinking about buying a surplus carcano. Anyone ever had one and got any thoughts?

Here is a picture of the battery.

You can get to the battery without going through the safe? Interesting. looks like a AAA to me, even if it is shorter you can make up the difference with a conductor. We know it is a 3.6 DC so that is the voltage we are looking for, if you can get to the contacts you can power it up.

The battery is inside the safe. Without it working I have to use the key to open the safe. That battery is even larger than a AA.

good grief, I suppose this shows what a geezer I am, I am used to 2 volts per cell, thus 2-4-6-8-10 volts, etc. The nicads were 1.6 volts per cell. Does this mean the rechargale Lithium's are 1.8 volts per cwll and you have 2 in series? What at the physical dimensions?

Don't own one. Never held one. Might be fun to have one as just a conversation piece because of the JFK incident. Can you get ammo for it? Not the most common cartridge.

When I get home today after work I’ll take a picture of that battery next to a AA battery so you can compare them in size.

As you can see the battery in my gun safe is larger than a AA battery.

lithium being 1.8 volts per cell we are looking for 2 lithium cells in series.
