Your claim that all virgins are saved believers is in error

The five foolish virgins are "Unsaved"

You arent saved unless your sealed by the Holy Spirit, and this seal is until the day of redemption Eph 1:13, 4:30

Ephesians 1:13KJV
13 In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise,

Ephesians 4:30KJV
30 And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption.

The scripture is very clear, the five foolish virgins were never saved and sealed by the Holy Spirit, the Lord never knew them "Unsaved"

Matthew 25:11-12KJV
11 Afterward came also the other virgins, saying, Lord, Lord, open to us.
12 But he answered and said, Verily I say unto you, I know you not.
No, all ten virgins are saved Believers but, only the 5 wise are the Bride.

But Jesus said " I never knew you "
One of the scariest verses in the bible don`t you think ?
To me the parable shows that many think they are going to heaven , but this parable shows how many are deceived , having no relationship with our LORD , not being prepared , not knowing our Lord at all...

All their lamps were lit in the beginning.
All fell asleep.
All lamps went out.

However, those that kept the Holy Spirit stirred because of love for Jesus and faith in His Word had extra oil of the Holy Spirit.

The hidden secret in this parable is that we’ll have NO extra oil if we let our love grow cold for God and others. Love is always the secret key.....(y)

We Will Strongly Disagree :)

The five foolish virgins are "Unsaved", As Scripture Before Your Eyes Clearly Explains

Once A Believer Is Saved, They Are Sealed With The Holy Spirit, Until The Redemption (The End)

The ones with extra oil are in love with Jesus Christ, not just saved but they keep their passionate first love stirred.

The others do not stir up the Holy Spirit within them....their flame goes out. They lost their first love and were not ready at His coming.

Jesus Christ is going to marry those that LOVE Him. Many are saved but, few LOVE Him.
The Church Is The Bride Of Christ

Your Suggestion That Many Are Saved, But Few Love Him, Excluding These Non-Lovers From Being The Bride?

How About The Non-Lovers Being Unsaved, Crying Lord Lord Let Us In?

I Agree 100%

A Parallel Teaching To The Ten Virgins Below

Matthew 7:22-23KJV
22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?
23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.

Matthew 25:11-12KJV
11 Afterward came also the other virgins, saying, Lord, Lord, open to us.
12 But he answered and said, Verily I say unto you, I know you not.

Are you saying some who are saved and part of the body of Christ will be cast out?

That goes directly against what Jesus said.

"All that the Father giveth me shall come to me; and him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out.” John 6:37

HE NEVER knew them , I think the answer is there...
It is like those who cry " LORD LORD , did we not do this or that " and Jesus said " Depart from Me , I never knew you "
I cannot see how you see the 5 foolish were saved , they were called foolish for a reason ...

Notice he doesn't say he never knew them in the virgin verse. Just "I don't know you"
In the 'never knew you' verse he qualifies them as being those who do evil things.

Matt 25
11 “Afterward the other virgins came also, saying, ‘Lord, Lord, open to us!’ 12 But he answered and said,
‘Assuredly, I say to you, I do not know you.’

Matt 7
21 “Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven. 22 Many will say to Me in that day, ‘Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?’ 23 And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!’

We's the Bride, we will not need to knock to enter the feast which is given in our honour.

The maidens are the bridal attendants.

In very ancient texts the scripture is "at midnight the cry went up behold the Bridegroom cometh with His bride .... "

But even if she is left out of the text she is still there, made obvious by her absence.

In Jewish custom, is it mandated that ALL “friends” of the Bridegroom have to be virgins?

Or that EVERYONE invited to a Jewish wedding MUST be a virgin?

No, it is the Bride that MUST be a virgin.

This is a parable with secret meaning....hidden from those that are prideful in their human intellect that trust in their human reasoning.
Slow down on the pride accusation lest you be guilty of pride of ignorance. :) There is not a debate about this. The Jewish custom of the friends of the young female unmarried friends of the Bridegroom waiting in a location to join the procession with lamps lit is a known custom and all young unmarried females were called virgins. It was what they were called. We must look it in the culture of the times. People are making too much of the word virgin not realizing that all unmarried young women were assumed to be virgins in ancient near east Jewish culture.

People in this thread that keep assuming that the 10 virgins are 10 brides about to be married by one man are making a mistake based on lack of reading on the subject of Jewish wedding customs. This custom has been written about for thousands of years and I don't understand why they are so confused about it, or can't find the resources necessary to educate themselves.

It is a good example of how easy strange teachings get started based on lack of background information and a good reason people should read commentaries and other Bible helps that fill in background information that the writers of the bible assumed their audience would know since these customs were familiar to the hearers.

The Bride did not wait for the Groom with the need to come out with a lamp lit. That was not part of the custom. That custom was for those entering into the procession. The Bride was not required to have a lit lamp. But anyone can read commentaries and books and learn this. Don't go making up allegorical meanings based on erroneous reasonings and say that the Spirit showed it to you or you will have to confess that you were wrong when you find out about the known custom of the young unmarried female friends of the Bridegroom who waiting in one location together were never with the actual Bride who was in another location. :)

Yous till seem to be ignoring that the Bridegroom went directly to get his bride which in this case is multiple brides. He did not go to other females he wasn't going to marry.

Gill:
be likened unto ten virgins; to "virgins" for quality; being betrothed ones to Christ
He did not go to them at all. He was going to the wedding feast and they were waiting for the announcement that he was coming at which time they were to join the procession of others with lit lamps behind him. He did not knock on their door. He did nothing to get their attention. Someone else was tasked with the announcement and he simply walked by on the way to the feast location. They had one chance to be ready and join in or be left out.

nope
Their lamps that had oil ran out of oil

" our lamps have gone out"

Clear as a bell. It reads just like what it says.
why does God make a distinction between having a "lamp" and having "oil" ?
what is the meaning of "
lamps" versus the meaning of "oil" ?
how can fools have spiritual "
lamps" yet be without spiritual "oil" ?
who are "
those who sell" oil ?

we're here:

Wherefore is there a price in the hand of a fool to get wisdom,
seeing he hath no heart to it?
(Proverbs 17:16)

The ghost of a hint is that all 10 are virgins. Virgins are Believers in Christ but, not all Believers are the Bride.

This will upset many but, it is true.
i established in post #189 that being described as "virgin" in scripture does not necessarily mean "believers" -- sometimes the wicked are also called "virgins" even while their judgement and condemnation is being pronounced.

God calls these virgins "fools" -- that's never a good thing

if this were the case then there are two churches, or there are believers who are not part of the church.

Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ also loved the church and gave Himself for her, that He might sanctify and cleanse her with the washing of water by the word, that He might present her to Himself a glorious church, not having spot or wrinkle or any such thing, but that she should be holy and without blemish.
(Ephesians 5:25-27)
that's "the" church, singular, who is "the bride" singular and who is washed and sanctified and cleansed.
that's "
the bride" for whom Christ gave Himself, and it is for the purpose of being betrothed that He did this, and washed away her sin.

so in your scenario wouldn't you have people who are saved but Christ didn't die for them, Christ didn't wash away their sins, and Christ didn't sanctify them?

Those small refill jars were an everyday common item. The listeners would have understood that they were a one lamp refill. They could not risk their own lamps going out during the procession.

why isn't it like the widow in 1 Kings 17 whose oil never ran out until she ran out of vessels?
or is it in fact complementary to this; have they ran out of vessels -- the hour being at hand and the foolish ones not being suitable vessels, like old wineskins?

everything in the NT is connected to things in the OT; none of scripture is accidental or coincidental

significantly, the fools are out trying to buy oil when the Groom comes -- the wise go in with Him to the wedding, and the fools are shut out. so the virgins aren't being snatched away -- in the traditional Hebrew wedding the groom comes at an hour appointed by his father and snatches away the bride, to take her to the wedding feast. she's prepared and waiting and doesn't know when he will do it -- he comes after he has prepared a place for her in his father's house. even though the groom knows when this will take place, he answers any questions about it with 'only my father knows the day and the hour' -- the bride and her attendants are not told.
