I'm very glad that I am not the one who decides who will go to hell. Jesus never sent anyone to tell people they are going to hell.
I believe in the wider mercy. Billions of human souls will not be in hell.

You said before that only Christians will be saved and those with a lack of belief system will not be saved. Jesus said "None come to the Father except through me" but as we read passages like John 9:41 (or NT passages about Abraham being saved), it becomes clear that it's more complicated than explicit titles and self-descriptions. Abraham would have called himself a Hebrew, but rejoiced in Christ (John 8:56) without necessarily calling himself a Christian.
I am hesitant to conclusively say that all "agnostics" end up in the same basket.
Do agnostics go to hell?
This is the question. From a biblical understanding and the truth of God's word those who do not accept Jesus Christ as the Lord and Savior placing their faith in Him, will not be saved from Hell. Human consciousness(the Mind) can be seared or become numb to the calling to repent by the Holy Spirit because of rejection.
no babies do not go to hell why do they not go? is it because they are agnostics? No. it has everything to do with the righteous judgment of God. 61 million abortions of living beings were murdered that God fully knew while in the womb. As a normative those who are not babies who have come to the knowledge and tasted of it sinned. Babies have not done so. that is not an argument an agnostic has made a choice to believe that nothing is known or can be known of the existence or nature of God. babies are not agnostics.
Yes. Only those who obey Jesus and are born again can enter the kingdom of heaven. (John 3:3-5) All others will spend eternity in hell. (Mark 16:16)
It is God's will that none perish. However, many will due to their personal choices. Jesus said He will knock, but the responsibility of opening the door is required of all those He calls.
"Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me." Rev 3:20
I'm almost a 100 years old, I'll soon be going to the Lord,, it is one of the first questions I am going to find out about.
That is why I baptized my babies, speaking for them when they could not speak for themselves and vowing to teach them until they could speak for themselves.

Self-described agnostics are sometimes trying to express double-mindedness (ambivalence). Teenagers and the like often go through weird stages that end up reinforcing the good in them and aligning their faith in beneficial ways. "Unstable" is a fitting word in those cases. Surely, more important than the words a youth uses for shock value is what is written on their heart (the actual thing they are judged by). We should see this as weak faith as opposed to a lack of faith. Instead of showing contempt for these people we should encourage positive growth.
"Him that is weak in the faith receive ye, but not to doubtful disputations. For one believeth that he may eat all things: another, who is weak, eateth herbs. Let not him that eateth despise him that eateth not; and let not him which eateth not judge him that eateth: for God hath received him." - Romans 14:1-3
Thankfully we can know for sure. The word is clear, a person who rejects Jesus is destined for hell.
"Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me." John 14:6
"He that rejecteth me, and receiveth not my words, hath one that judgeth him: the word that I have spoken, the same shall judge him in the last day." John 12:48
"He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned." Mark 16:16
I believe the following scripture speaks to different methods of winning people to the truth:
"And of some have compassion, making a difference:
And others save with fear, pulling them out of the fire; hating even the garment spotted by the flesh." Jude 22-23
You are describing a teenager's immaturity, not cognitive accountability. Doubt is a battle all will fight as Christians. Doing so doesn't mean they are agnostic. In addition, the context of what is an agnostic is not what we want to make it to be to justify our unwillingness to action our "faith" because I have not had my intellect groomed enough to agree there is a God.
The word of God is clear. those who come to God Must believe that He is, and a reward of those who seek Him diligently.
the child is just that a child. God holds the parent responsible for not teaching them about God. it is hard for agnostics to teach children about God is they are wavering in faith.
I would like to see that Scripture verse. I do recall ones about being as a child, but a baby?
Babies have not rejected Jesus.
What about people in cultures that have not heard the word?
I agree that babies do not have the ability to reject Jesus. I have often wondered if aborted babies or babies who have died before coming of age will have an opportunity to accept or reject Jesus in the Millennial reign. Nothing in scripture that I am aware of, just something I ponder on occasion.
As to other cultures, we serve a just God and can believe everything stated in His word. It says the gospel will be preached to all nations. This speaks to the truth that all will be given the opportunity to choose Jesus as Savior.
"And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come." Matt. 24:14
Teenagers aren't cognitively accountable? Many churches disagree with that opinion as they allow confirmation in the early teens (or younger).
I never said doubt would necessarily make Christians agnostic. But someone that calls themselves agnostic isn't necessarily not Christian.
A person with mixed feelings (like an angst-filled teenager) does believe - but may also have opposing beliefs at the same time. How does anyone accurately categorise someone with mixed feelings without fully knowing their heart as Christ does?
My concern is more for the angsty teenager bit and the best approach to bringing a rebellious spirit fully back into the love of Christ. Or a young adult. Or any troubled person of faith. Telling someone with mixed feelings that they are going to hell (without true certainty of that statement) seems like the wrong approach. The intention is correct. It just feels like the wrong approach to me. Especially if someone has lost a child (at any age) that had trouble in their faith. How ghastly to have someone preach that their child is bound to hell (when that statement is not a proven Biblical truth). God will be the judge of that.
