if you mean that from a musical standpoint, his solo album is still most definitely up to standard

It would be better if you had the facts right. He was the lead guitarist for Korn. Jonathan Davis is the lead singer...big difference. And this happened years ago.

You scared me! :eek: I thought you were talking about Jonathan Davis. Anyways I'm not a big fan of Korn so it wouldn't affect me that much. Nevertheless, please check your information before posting.

Yeah that happened right before I graduated highschool... was kind of sad because I was a fan of Korn at the time.

I liked Korn back in 2002, but they sang "God hates me" in Got the life, other songs were quite depressing, and there was alot of depression and hatred in those songs, I learned the guitar chords and riffs, but those songs are actually not very encouraging. and considering the word encouragement in Greek literally means to be "in" "god", I think Korn was cool, but took our wants away from God.


I listened to Korn back when I was a Goth, but now that i look back, did any Korn song sing about something happy or encouraging, or about thankfulness. You people are awesome, but remember God cares about what you are thinking about. Only think about good things Galatians 5:22

www.mainstreet-churchofchrist.com has some great sermons and music, they feed more than a thousand meals a week to the poor, the preacher's salaries are 300 $ a month, one preacher used to be a military officer. They are kind and good people, not too many of them in the world. I'm in South Africa, but I have some friends in the States

WHAT about him, besides him saying with his mouth that he is a "Christian"

is like Jesus? What is he doing? he is STILL looking the same that he did in KORN, actually he looks WORSE now, with all the EYE makeup, and weird bedazzle in his hair.

The Scriptures repeadedly tell us to be SEPERATE from the world.

WHAT is like a follower of Christ in Brian welsh? I cant judge his heart, only GOD can. but i can see the fruits.

And his fruits look like the worlds.

and his music videos are like the worlds, and actually really demonic.

To make Disciples doesnt mean conform to THEM, and be like THEM in order to win souls(and please dont quote paul anyone...please dont, its not what he ment)

We are to be UNLIKE THE WORLD. So Mr. Welsh needs to repent, and truly turn his life over to JESUS, it seems like the Christian INDUSTRY got to him shortly after he met Jesus.

Truly, i wouldnt comment if it wasnt important. But what he is doing is NOT christ like, it is worldy, and dissobedient. He hasnt denied himself and followed Christ, he has jumped into a religion. Pray for him that God Would pour repentance out on him.

so you judge him on the way he looks and the way his music videos sound/look?

followers of Christ come in all shapes and have a multitude of different looks and listen to a million-and-one kinds of music, including death metal etc.

if you are referring to the two girls in his "flush" music video then I'll have you know they're not there for sex appeal, they're there as symbolism for lust and worldly pleasures, and if you look what happens to them in the music video you'll see that it is indeed truthful to Jesus's teachings.

seriously man, we are all made in the image of god - the gospel is *the message* that completes our shattered being and saves us from the deserved wrath of god.

In conclusion - it's not the way our hair looks, it's the way our heart looks:)
