If we keep the whole law yet stumble in one point. We are guilty as law breakers

i am a law breaker guilty as charged, I have people in my life who I give permission to help me and come alongside me, as I do them my church family

this is not a church, this is an open forum, the world, go into the world and draw men to Christ. Not judge them

Actually I did come inhere looking for perfect people. Because I have seen so many threads like this by legalists, and they make me sick. Not just to defend a friend. Once again your spider sense has failed you
it’s funny someone told me that lovely correcting (disciplining) a brother was fine, so who is right, your or him?

I also find it amazing you are her judging someone who openly confesses his sin, yet refuse to judge slanderers amd liars who are here everyday telling people what they say twisting their words to make it appear they said something else and outright lieing openly against a brother, who refuses to acknowledge and admit their sin, and you say not a word to them

double standard because it’s not a dangerous sin in your view?

and ps. The op was not admitting to being gay, amd he was spot on he the legalistic church offers hope and love but quickly remove that hope if the person does not change over night,

I lived in that church, I experienced it, don’t tell me what I am doing or try to guess my intentions, you have no idea what they are.
none here is perfect But God. you can't come into a thread and force one to agree with the false narratives of homosexuality. Speaking to the FACT IS Not judgment. Again you did not read the post because if you did you would have seen where I said I was set free from sexual sin. YOU are the one judging. I have stood by my testimony and it was attacked by this very person, as I had to be gay to know the torment of sin. Please just be quiet, and you and I will be just fine. SO if you want to make this personal PM me and I will be more than happy to help you.

I was not judging you for sin my friend. Once again you are overreacting once again you have butted in on something you do not understand. your right I did not read your discussion not am I talking about what you two said, nor do I care. That was not what I was trying to discuss when you rudely tried to get in the middle

it was not even part of my discussion. My discussion was about what the OP said, the person who openly spays is gay is NOT the op.

I made a comment, and another member said he had every right to discipline the person, I told him the proper way the Bible tells us to discipline, and you cut in and went off like You have done to me before

you judged me my friend, and you were wrong

Me be quiet? Dude you have nerve, your the one who came swinging like you always do. don’t tell me to shut up! Next time think before you try to get into the middle of a conversation

Love the red x’s. What a joke

this is not a church man, it’s a place for people to discuss the word. it’s also a place for people, who are not saved to come in and feel free to find out about God without having to be judged.

I am going to cut you some slack for once just once and post here for you what I posted in response to mark the very first response. You can go back and reread what he said in his post this was my response to him.

You have said and presumed much. YOu said " the bible condemns US", No the Bible speaks of the condemnation of all without Christ. John 3:17-19.

You still identify with the sin Christ has called one out from and he wants to empower you to live free from it. No one hates gay people here, in fact, that is a false narrative.

I have seen more hate from the" LGBTQ community " and a lack of tolerance by them.

Those who stormed churches and protest during services will target Christian businesses yet will not go to Muslim ones and do the same thing. Crying victim. All sin brings torment and no peace. Homosexuality is not justified because one was abused or mistreated.

I too was abused as a child and many family members who were gay

not because they were born that way but because they were innocent young and stocked by sick twisted family members who caused great trauma to very young children and teens.

Those who say I was abused and now gay think that God used a terrible wicked attack on a child or teenager to show them who they are? The GOD OF the BIBLE doesn't do that! Jesus doesn't DO that!

The Devil does that.

Those who Christians were afraid to tell you the truth because they could not handle the persecution that comes from not agreeing with hostile left and gay activism. Wimps!

Many self-professing Christians have compromised " the love of God" over HIS Holiness.

The numbness you felt was your mind seared and unresponsive to the Calling from the Holy Spirit.

BUT Jesus did not give up on you.

There is no such thing as a "Gay Christian" no more than darkness can mix with light.

The Devil will continue to torment you until you are taken out, which is his goal. BUT Jesus came to you to set you free!

accept it. You do not have to do it alone, The devil wants you to think we hate you but HE is the very one who does and wants you dead. Jesus is the answer, not a church building.

NOW you tell me where is the judgment on this post?

YEP. and comparing going cold turkey with a hetero, vs a homo, is like comparing a non alcoholic giving up drinking to an alcoholic giving up drinking. apples and oranges.
I hate to say it, but that guy doesnt even read, or even consider others pov. He has his message, he puts it in his bazooka and blows things apart spreading it.
I think your style is much more inviting to non believers and draws them in instead of driving them away.
Gods blessings to you man
Hyper-grace is like honey: it attracts all sorts of flies and never gets clean.

How do you know that isn't what I'm doing already?

There's a lot of assumptions being made about my personal life here. But I forgive you all.

May the peace of love of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ be upon you ✝️
You said you were in a homosexual lifestyle. I'm giving you advice. Take it or leave it. If you don't want or like people discussing your personal life, keep it out of the chat room. But you brought it out for all to read.

put yourselves in the shoes of a gay person, a sexually immoral (heterosexual) person, a liar, a thief a slanderer, a drug addict, a drunk

and tell them there is no such thing as a drunk christian, a sexually immoral christian, a christian who lies, slanders, a drug addict christian etc etc etc

and tell you you would not feel judged by that statement

let he who is without sin cast the first stone

you just can't help being personal, you come in talking about judging yet you judge me, and others you are hypocrite. it is the Bible discussion forum the topic is
Unconditional love and the church's approach to homosexuality

To some here, unconditional love means to not speak out to those who are in sexual addiction and have sexual idolatry AS I once had AND TELL THEM cHRIST CAN SET THEM FREE. That is somehow judgment is beyond me.

If your going to discipline. Do it the way the Bible tells you to

the person was not hurting anyone, he did not deserve to get told there is no such thing as a gay christian

you may think it is an innocent saying, but to those who you say it to...

your right. Lbgq community is very judgmental and angry and lash out, sadly they are no different than may so called Christians I know.including my dad who was one of the most judgmental people I ever met,

You still can read, can you? I said I was in a sexual addiction are you really listening? Or do you need me to explain descriptively and graphically so you come to understand? You put yourself in their shoes, I am trying to speak to the power of salvation and freedom from Sexual sin. You treat them as if they don't know it's wrong AND why the stronghold can't be broken. The God I serve set gays free, drug addicts free , sexual addiction free. I very clearly explained it and Mark did not even respond to it. because it was 100% true.

I am not disciplining anyone are you ok? FYI there is no such thing as the LGBTQ community only those who appease a sexual preference would agree with that lie. the Cuddling you and others do have helped keep these men and women bound by sexual sin.

You are throwing a drowning man an anchor instead of a life ring.

you told the guy there is no such thing as a gay christian

and you have the guts to tell me you did not judge him?

what do you call it

it does not matter what you confessed, you as much as told him he was not saved, whether you intentially did that or not, that’s what people saw

Yes!! We can have freedom! But not everyone gets there at the same time. Some will come to the Lord and never take a drink, a smoke, fail in sexual sin ever again. For others it takes baby steps. For others there are things in their past that may hold them back, or any number of other reasons. In these cases it's up to us to pray for, no intercede for, people who are struggling until they get the victory. Sexual issues are far harder for the person to overcome. Nothing is impossible for God. That's not the point. It's how soon we take hold of His grace and mercy. Which I don't see a lot of being preached here. Remember the old song we use to sing "Just as I Am?" I'm glad you were set free, but not everyone has the same experience you do.
