About the middle of last year i had so many bad feelings that something big was going to happen a big event where everyone was going to be talking and as we know it did this year with the earthquake and tsunami hitting and then that feeling went away.and about winter of last year i had a feeling that this year for weather was going to be worse and it is we had the strongest earthquake in years a historic tsunami also there is volcanos, earthquakes, floods and things we never seen before.and as far as the U.S we already made history on tornados this year and the tornado season just started & we are having historic floods all over the states followed by historic wildfires and the storms just seem real bad then other years.

i feel it is a sign and some say we are under judgement everyone has their opinion.
may Jesus be with us all

You know, I somewhat feel the same way about the weather. Best if we just keep the faith up. You never know...

Actually, periods like this have been coming and going several times through earth's history.
- That don't mean we shouldn't be ready though... :)

I agree with WWJD_Kilden, but on the other hand, it does seem strange. I'm in the Bay Area in California. It's June 4th. And it's storming outside! I've lived here my whole life and I have never ever seen this kind of weather here. Usually there is no rain in the Bay Area from May to October. Very strange indeed.

Some of the worst earthquakes, floods Volcano's and hurricanes happened way before our time.

The great sanFransico earthquake in the early 1900's... You should google it. Thats just one example

What's that verse... About the earthquakes being the birth pains before Christ's return.... Oh geeze, I'm too tired to think. Anyone remember which one I'm thinking of? :)

I don't think weather is listed as a sign of the coming of the Lord! The "man of sin" must be revealed first.

Actually, Jesus himself is the one who pointed out earthquakes and strange natural occurances and signs of the end times:

Luke: 21

10 Then he said to them: “Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. 11 There will be great earthquakes, famines and pestilences in various places, and fearful events and great signs from heaven.

Wow, I was zonked; completely forgot about posting here. I found the reference, btw...

Mark 13:5-8

5 Jesus said to them: “Watch out that no one deceives you. 6 Many will come in my name, claiming, ‘I am he,’ and will deceive many. 7 When you hear of wars and rumors of wars, do not be alarmed. Such things must happen, but the end is still to come. 8 Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There will be earthquakes in various places, and famines. These are the beginning of birth pains.

Hey

my name is Sadam and im a muslim
We love Jesus (pbuh) as we its a part of being a muslim, we follow the latest teachings from the latest prophet Muhammed (pbuh), the sings of Qiyama( the day of reserection) are already shown. we Muslims and Christians are very closely related its so sad that we are divided to religons because of small reasons.
from my point of view christians will only follow the messages of Jesus (pbuh) but muslims will follow and love Jesus (pbuh) and the prophet that we belive to be the last and final Muhammed (pbuh) so actualy we are half Christian :p

first off, its not normal...this shift in weather patterns began with the industrial revolution, and it is all caused by human actions. God said he wouldn't destroy the world by flooding, but he never said we wouldn't...second, it is stated in the bible all of he things that are happenings, the weather changes, increase of wars, violence, famine and natural disasters

Hi Sadam, I'm not sure if you are too familiar with what christianity teaches, or whether you are just familiar with what Muhammed teaches about christianity. They are quite different and the closer you look at the two religions the greater the chasm that separates them is.

I just heard someone on the radio say that up until about 10 years ago there was an average of 6 large earthquakes every 10 years, and now we are averaging 10 large earthquakes every 6 MONTHS.

Was that David Jeremiah by any chance?

I'm not sure we have been recording weather long enough on a big enough scale to really know what's 'normal.'

Regardless, we should always be ready. The end will come swiftly and when you least expect it.
