I present my interpretation of scripture as something I hope others will think about, not as orders to them of how to run their lives. It is always with the hope they will check scripture to see if I am correct or not,. I believe and live different from you, I do not copy your way.

If you read what others say as being directed as being against you, that is your problem and something you insert into the post, not something that is there. If you disagree with my interpretation, say so, don't go into this personal thing about how it is against you. I speak of scripture, and all scripture is of love, not against anyone. Even the law that points to sin is given to you out of the love God has for you.
Maam, When you say people say or believe something they do not believe. You are sinning against them

Its time you stop this you post scripture nonsense, and start to own up to your own sins. Stop baling others for your own struggles.

We are saved by faith

Faith causes us to repent and call out to God. And this is how we are saved.

Faith also causes us to trust God, which will cause us to do what he says (works)

we are also new creatures thus we act as our new selves.

Works are a result of salvation. Not a precursor or requirement for salvation
But love is greater than faith and faith works by love and love has to be done in works.

And the point is many people who claim Christ neglect love but believe they are saved by faith.

So how are they saved if they neglect love.

And we know many people who say we are saved by faith are going by their wants and neglecting the poor and needy and not helping people like they should which is not love.

So how are they saved if they do not show love and it is not a partial love we are supposed to show but like that all the time.

It does nt matter what love is

We are saved BY grace THROUGH faith.

We are not saved by love,. We do not even have the capacity to love until we are first loved by CHrist.

we love because he first loved us.

He sees you refusing to repent. Refusing to acknowledge your sin. While judging others.
When I repent, are you saying that you are God so you know God does not listen to me? Claiming to be as God is pretty serious.

I don't think works, faith, and love can be thought of as separate so they can be labeled. I think they work together as a team. There is love in everything that is of God. It is through faith in Christ and all Christ is and says that we have our being. When we have Christ in our hearts, Christ works in us that comes out working for the Lord.

I can just state what is true

When you said against someone and refuse to acknowledge that sin. It does not take one having to be God to call you out
What Paul playing God when he called Peter out publicly for trying to impose the law on Gentiles?

1Co 13:13 And now abideth faith, hope, charity, these three; but the greatest of these is charity.

1Co 13:2 And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries, and all knowledge; and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, and have not charity, I am nothing.

1Ti 6:10 For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.

Jas 2:24 Ye see then how that by works a man is justified, and not by faith only.

1Jn 3:17 But whoso hath this world's good, and seeth his brother have need, and shutteth up his bowels of compassion from him, how dwelleth the love of God in him?
1Jn 3:18 My little children, let us not love in word, neither in tongue; but in deed and in truth.

In the end Blik you are going to have to work out your own salvation. I don't think about works. Any fruit I have came from the vine not me. Some are really making this in to something its not. Were in that car and we keep trying to drive and we never notice He says nothing :) Just relax...trust in Him in your life.. He only takes what we give. So relax let Him lead guide you.. the works will just come. Its the fruit of us trusting in Him. After this life we will lay it all at HIs feet because we never did it .. He did. Man will never glory in His sight. He wants us to give Him everything.. to pray about everything. We then start doing what He wants but.. we have to want to.. not by force not well I have to do this. No our heart has to be in this.

So just focus on Him not you not self not sin. .. a choice

You said I refuse to acknowledge my sin. Back that up with scripture, please. This site is about scripture. What scripture do you base your right to judge my walk with the Lord? If you are given the right by the Lord to judge my walk, then your judgment means the Lord will not give me eternal life, for that life is determined by my being cleaned of my sin by God. You say you have taken over that right from the Lord. Please give scripture backing up your assertion.

The Lord tells us not to murder. You have murdered me. You will be judged by the judgment you give to others.

If we let Christ drive our car, the result will be works. You cannot let Christ drive without your mind agreeing to let works happen.

When you lie about someone. Scripture can’t be used to prove it.

Scriptur Eli’s your go to when you are backed to a corner. Its not going to help you this time.

Some people say that the truths of God changed.
Can you please show where ANYONE has said Gods truth has changed?

If not. You have lied about people. And you need to repent. This is just one example of your sin.

Faith mean believe His teaching and His teaching is to love
We love because we have faith. Without faith we don't have pure love

Branch can not bear the fruit of it self
To bear fruit (fruit of the Holy Spirit is love) branch must abide on the tree or have faith in jesus
It seem real faith produce real love

what IS or MAKE's a CHRISTIAN ?
I thought a Christian is a person who has chosen to:

put GOD first, above all others, wife/husband, kids, self, work....etc

not make idols of objects, people, institutes, or doctrines.

Never speak GOD's name in a negative or for a personal worldly gain.

have promised to keep GOD's Sabbath, but to walk the same way for the rest of the week

honour not only parents, but ALL they meet, until the people they meet, prove themselves to be dis-honourable.

never take a life, nor to obstruct, confine or ignore one.

remain faithful to a spouse or partner if in a relationship, and avoiding romantic ideas or advances outside it.

never take things that do not belong to them, mentally, physically, or emotionally (our Christianity takes care of spiritually).

be truthful & honest in how we live our lives, and how we treat others.

not begrudge any one for the lifestyle they live, or desire the rewards they obtained.

Is this all wrong ? have I missed something along the way ?: Are we (Christians) not meant to be filled with not just LOVE, but AGAPE LOVE, ...for everything, until proven otherwise.... Are we not to live in Love, Kindness, Goodness, Faithfulness, Patience, Peace & Self Control.... Are we not required to make sacrifices of the things, people, lifestyles and places that can become detriment to our faith.
and Isn't faith, trusting that GOD knows whats best for us, that we have his protection and he directs our path, ...then actually allowing HIS Holy Spirit to do that for us and help apply what JESUS and the Scriptures teach us: ??????????????????????????????????????????????????????
May GOD bless us all with HIS understanding, knowledge and wisdom, May he direct us by HIS will and not our own. in the name of Christ our Saviour: AMEN

many are called.............. few are chosen

labor to be (of) the chosen

every labor you do can bring you closer to being

only God and those close or closer to God know who the chosen are or might be

there are no denominations with God... just truth

lesser truths and greater... seek and you will find

"he who thinks he knows knows not yet as he ought to know"

there is alot to learn... but only the true in heart finds truth

the more true (like Christ) we wish to become, the more you can find and become
Yes sir, Paul says in 2 Corinthians 5: 9 Wherefore we labour, that, whether present or absent, we may be accepted of him. 10 For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad.

What a wonderful God. We only have to want to be perfect. Because we just can't be perfect, God makes allowances for that. We can have the perfection of God as a gift to us.
But I will say that we should aim for perfection, if possibly because Jesus did say in Matthew 5: Be ye therefore perfect even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect.

Yep let’s look at it

the young man said he kept the commands

jesus tried to get him to admit he broke and was breaking the first command,

according to the law. Whoever did not keep every word was cursed

hence Jesus tried to show the man what James said later, if you keep all the law yet stumble in one point your guilty of all

the man should have repented got on his knees and told God what the tax collector did. Instead the man went away feeling bad. Because he refused to admit that he ever broke the law.

paul said all have sinned and fall short. It funny, the greek word hemartos translated sin literally means to fall short.

How many sins does it take to fall short? According to the law. Just one.

so sorry bud. You have sinned and fallen short. Your ability to save yourself by your obedience was lost the first time you sinned.

if you think you can save yourself now. You are in dire trouble

You missing the point there. The young man didn't break the law he kept the law from his youth up. The young man saith unto him, All these things have I kept from my youth up: what lack I yet? 21 Jesus said unto him, If thou wilt be perfect, go and sell that thou hast, and give to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come and follow me. The young man had one more step in life to be perfect, he didn't actually do anything wrong. Jesus let the young man know that he is close to being perfect. The young man didn't sin, he learned he have a little more work to do in his life.

Such a truth. We can never reach perfection, but we can aim for it, knowing that any time we miss the mark that Christ is there to pick us up and gift us with His perfection. Such a comfort. Such a joy.

I so wish Eternally Grateful could know this and not feel she must lash out so, but rest in Christ. We all need to pray that the peace and joy of Christ reaches her heart.
