You said: "I would love to stay and help if the danger were not so great to me spiritually."

What do you mean by this???
Because in Revelation 13:16, it appears to me that all who are left behind after the juncture of Revelation 11:15-18 (where I place the rapture), will take the mark; not one of them will refuse it.

Who is left behind?
Do you believe God leaves His Children behind?

Peace to You my Brother

Don't make yourself ignorant from the error of pre-trib.

I do not want you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning those who have fallen asleep, lest you sorrow as others who have no hope. For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so God will bring with Him those who sleep in Jesus.

For this we say to you by the word of the Lord, that we who are alive and remain until the coming of the Lord will by no means precede those who are asleep. For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And thus we shall always be with the Lord. Therefore comfort one another with these words
1 Thess 4
It's actually stating don't be ignorant concerning the catching up of the body of Christ.

Rev. 19:14 And the armies which were in heaven followed him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean.
The armies that return with Jesus Christ are His saints! —"Onward Christian soldiers, marching as to war!" :)
That would be the body of Christ returning with their husbandman to reign on the earth 1,000 years.

There is a difference between tribulation and The Great Tribulation...

But it should be clear that the Great Tribulation is the day of the LORD...

And according to Zephaniah 1:14-15, Luke 21:23, that day is a day of wrath.
. . .
I agree. The “Lord’s Day” is the day Christ returns to earth as King of kings.

Zeph. 1:14 The great day of the LORD is near, it is near, and hasteth greatly, even the voice of the day of the LORD: the mighty man shall cry there bitterly.
[15] That day is a day of wrath, a day of trouble and distress, a day of wasteness and desolation, a day of darkness and gloominess, a day of clouds and thick darkness,

Now when will "The Lord's Day" come?

And as he sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto him privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world? Matthew 24:3 And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you. Matthew 24:4 For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many. Matthew 24:5 And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. Matthew 24:6 And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. Matthew 24:6 For nation shall rise against (along side) nation, and kingdom against (along side) kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places. Matthew 24:7 All these are the beginning of sorrows. Matthew 24:8 Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all nations for my name's sake. Matthew 24:9 And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another. Matthew 24:10 And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many. Matthew 24:11 And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold. Matthew 24:12 But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved. Matthew 24:13

Let the prophecies unfold.....
Rev 22:20 He which testifieth these things saith, Surely I come quickly. Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus.
Rev 22:21 The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen.

It WILL be fulfilled regardless.....
Amen.

No, @DavidTree.

In Luke 21:36 we are told to pray that we may be accounted worthy to escape those things which are going to come upon the earth.

It is therefore not a sin to pray for the same and to believe that Jesus is going to answer that prayer on your behalf.

If you want to continue to believe in a post-trib rapture, or even mid-trib/pre-wrath, it's alright...

We'll explain it to you on the way up.
The "explaining on the way up" joke is very old & recycled. I remember an American TV preacher in the 1980's using it.
While you are explaining on the way up perhaps you could contemplate why would still need to be taken away
in your new immortal body. And why all the saints from heaven who have just arrived need to leave for heaven again.

Of course it's not a sin to pray for escape but it puts quite a constraint on your faith if you will only accept a "pretrib-rapture"
as an answer to that prayer. God has many methods of deliverance.

You are marked by the blood of the lamb. God's wrath isn't directed at you. That stands regardless of location.
The entire world population is not going to be beheaded.

i just want to make certain that you are not choosing to be ignorant as the error of pre-trib will do to you.

What three events take place BEFORE the 'catching up' of alive remaining Saints? - according to our Lord Jesus Christ word's.

According to 1 Thess. 4? The Lord descends in a cloud with a shout, the dead in Christ are raised, then we which are alive and remain are changed, then we all are caught up in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air and so shall we ever be with the Lord.

Rev 11 15-18. I see it there as well, with the return of Jesus.
Although his return is described in more than one place.

The error is in MAKING A MISHMASH of the Resurrection/Rapture and the Second Coming. That seems to be your specialty, in spite of all evidence to prove that you are mistaken. Some people love their errors too much to give them up.

Very Good - always remember His word's for any slight change to them becomes a error and is no longer Truth - just as th eSerpent did in the Garden.

But where to we go? Do we join his army in our new immortal, resurrected bodies?
Do we join the chariots of God "he who rides on the clouds"?

Or do we go back to heaven?

i love you guys - you scare me with words like 'MISHMASH' and then you say you have evidence of this, but are never able to come up with a scripture(s) to prove such accusations - lol -

Did you guys graduate from the school of pharisees?

#1 Rule of God when seeking His Truth : Deuteronomy 6:1-2, Proverbs 30:5-6, Revelation 22:18-19

No one is making a mishmash. The Bible isn't a mishmash.
You're just angry because the 2-returns tale you've been indoctrinated with is not believed universally.

Hi!
Resurrection/Rapture and the Second Coming.
Agreed.
There is a difference between AIR (harpazo)and EARTH(2nd Coming)

Could this happen simultaneous?
what a miraculous event these will be...

God Bless

2 Timothy 2:16-18 was written circa ad 50... almost 2,000 years ago. The ENTIRE Bible was written within a period of 1,500 years. 2 Timothy was written by a man named Paul, to a man named Timothy 2,000 years ago. Not from God to us, or even from Paul to us. There WERE some who were in error AT THAT TIME who said that the resurrection was past. The scripture is correct. But that *does not mean* that it has *any* application for today.
You don't see the writings of those in error in the Bible but only mentioned that they errored. So your saying Paul writings aren't from God yet there they are in the Bible as scripture. So do we throw away all of Paul's writings or just his letter to Timothy? Heb. 3:16 "ALL SCRIPTURE is given by the inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, reproof, for correction, for instruction righteousness."

To the heavenly places for the JSOC and the marriage of the Lamb. We return on white horses with our husbandman, the King of kings and Lord of lords back to earth to reign with Him a thousand years.

i love the KJV and the NKJV - i am not afraid of other versions -
Stay away from any version that changes the Gospel and Genesis through to Revelation with all that relates to the Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
