I have quoted the verses and not only referenced them; more than once.

It does indeed teach that we can become perfect in this life, in the sense of practical righteousness (while not in the sense of sin being eradicated from the flesh).
no. no one is perfect in this lifetime. you have persuaded yourself that you can be and that is no surprise considering the manner in which you post

as has been pointed out, there are also sins of omission...in other words, you don't even know you committed them

your own righteousness, which is what you are working for, is not the righteousness God speaks of

You are misrepresenting me. I do not teach that anyone can be made sinless.

The scriptures that I have posted have never been refuted.

I will post them again below. Once I have done so, have at it.
actually, you are misrepresenting salvation and sanctification. sanctification is a process and as you can never be sinless, to say you can be perfect through sanctification, is simply a carefully worded twisting of scripture

it amounts to the same thing

further, you are making threats here, that a Christian would never make. a Christian understands that their blood is not on their own head. they understand that they are saved by the blood of Christ

what is practical righteousness? there is no such thing

the only righteousness we have is the righteousness of Christ.

so you have somehow come to believe you have 'practical' righteousness, that you have worked for but yet your flesh still has sin

you have zero percent of your own righteousness. zero

No, I am not working for anything.

Practical righteousness is given to me as a free gift (Romans 5:15-17, Romans 5:19, 1 John 3:7, Matthew 5:6).

You do not know your Bible very well, do you?

1Jo 3:7, Little children, let no man deceive you: he that doeth righteousness is righteous, even as he is righteous.

Rom 5:19, For as by one man's disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous.

Mat 5:, Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled.

Mat 5:20, For I say unto you, That except your righteousness shall exceed the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, ye shall in no case enter into the kingdom of heaven.

And of course I am not saying that I can be sinless (1 John 1:8); just perfect in my practical walk (Hebrews 10:14 (kjv) and other scriptures that have been quoted to you).

Consider Romans 8:12 (NLT).

Rom 8:12, Therefore, dear brothers and sisters, you have no obligation to do what your sinful nature urges you to do.

thanks for posting actual verses for a change

you are misconstruing the above verses

the righteousness of a Christians is that of Christ. We are righteous only IN Christ and not by any efforts of our own

Heb 10:14, For by one offering he hath perfected for ever them that are sanctified.
1. the one offering spoken of, is the Lord Jesus Christ Himself. He is the final offering and no more are needed

2. this means we believe in Him for our righteousness...which means the forgiveness of our sins

3. perfected very obviously does not mean we have become perfect. that, is ongoing through sanctification, a process throughout our lives. salvation is immediate and sanctification is the process through which we are changed by the Holy Spirit as we follow Christ.

4. holy, sanctification, means to be set apart. it means we are now set apart to Christ and from the world. this means we are 'positioned' in Christ. that is how God, the Father, sees us.

5. it is correct to say we are 'positionally' sanctified (meaning not of our own doing, but again, in Christ if we belong to Him) but sanctification of our lives is ongoing throughout our earthly life. this, is the work of the Holy Spirit in our lives. This can also be called justification...we are 'justified in Christ'..meaning, again, that Christ's finished work on the cross has secured our justification before God so that He accepts us as holy...set apart through His Son

6. sanctification in our lives on a daily basis, is the work of the Holy Spirit in our lives, leading us to maturity in Christ

7. so, we are set apart or sanctified (meaning holy) in Christ and not of ourselves. we are not acceptable to God in any other way. His grace extends this to us only through His Son. we cannot attain it on our own or work to have it. this is not a question of some can anymore than believing that anyone can be saved by following the law(s) of the OT

note: there is no reason for me to respond to your flurry of posts addressed to me as your purpose is not for discussion, but rather indoctrination in what you believe is biblical. quite a few people here have really tried to help you see that you are in error

there is also no need for your special brand of self importance. you are the only one impressed with that. it's actually a big turn-off

Heb 10:14, For by one offering he hath perfected for ever them that are sanctified.
and again, to humor you

the verse above means just what it says

the one offering is Jesus...he does not have to offer Himself over and over no matter how many people come to believe in Him

that is what it means...it does not mean you can or have become perfected. without Christ, you have no righteousness whatsoever

this is nonsense. I guess you do not understand salvation

who is the 'we'? obviously you belong to a group that is independent and teaches that a person can be sinless and attain what you call perfection through sanctification. you have to misapply much of the NT in order to believe that

again, you are just silly telling people they willfully ignore you. no one has ignored your beliefs....people are refuting them

Me ,I had to pull out the full IGNORE,refuting didn't work so well.

same here

certain remarks though, are so outrageous they need to be refuted and or reported

telling people there blood is on their own head because they did not listen to him, is way beyond the pale.

actually sounds very cultish IMO

ignore works too though ;)

Perhaps a vaccine would be beneficial.
🤠 lol a heart transplant possibly ?

“For from within, out of the heart of men, proceed evil thoughts, adulteries, fornications, murders, Thefts, covetousness, wickedness, deceit, lasciviousness, an evil eye, blasphemy, pride, foolishness:

All these evil things come from within, and defile the man.”

What is disgraceful is the way seeking for perfection is spoken of here on this site.

If we were discussing learning to play a sport, there wouldn't be this sort of talk about not trying for perfection, yet here we are in training for our eternal life, of eternal importance, and there is all this to do about being imperfect.
perfection is different in Christ

“Ye have heard that it hath been said, An eye for an eye, and a tooth for a tooth: But I say unto you, That ye resist not evil: but whosoever shall smite thee on thy right cheek, turn to him the other also. And if any man will sue thee at the law, and take away thy coat, let him have thy cloak also. And whosoever shall compel thee to go a mile, go with him twain. Give to him that asketh thee, and from him that would borrow of thee turn not thou away.

Ye have heard that it hath been said, Thou shalt love thy neighbour, and hate thine enemy.

But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you; That ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven:

for he maketh his sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust. For if ye love them which love you, what reward have ye? do not even the publicans the same? And if ye salute your brethren only, what do ye more than others? do not even the publicans so?

Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect.”
‭‭Matthew‬ ‭5:38-48‬ ‭KJV‬‬

just that section alone sets us a goal that is extremely high that we should aspire and reach for but there’s a lifetimes worth of lessons in the four gospels

I am wondering if "perfect" is actually rendered " mature" in the greek.

I will check later

hmmm

I don't find that...checking with a Greek concordance and Strong's...they stick with perfect it would seem

perfect, perfecting = verb

mature, maturity = adjective in the biblical sense, although can be a verb in certain usage

Hebrews 10:14 V-RIA-3S
GRK: γὰρ προσφορᾷ τετελείωκεν εἰς τὸ
NAS: offering He has perfected for all time
KJV: offering he hath perfected for
INT: indeed offering he has perfected for

that's what I found.

I know that there Is the book by John that says

1 John 1:9
King James Version
If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

+++

I think this scripture Is talking about coming to CHRIST and not talking about a person needs to continually ask to be forgiven after salvation.

WOW...your new age religion robe is showing.

Then why does the Lord's prayer say.......forgive us of our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us?
A daily prayer presented by the Bible.
Why does God forgive us of our sins without limit? Under your thought once would be sufficient...right?

Study scriptures.
