I’ve always thought of Jesus as the one place we’re seeing God manifest in one father son and Holy Ghost made one person and shown to all through the gospel but sort of just my own way of thinking
Study Jesus' prayer in the garden of Gethsemane. Then explain WHY Jesus would pray to Himself that way?

Jesus IS the manifestation of the Godhead because neither the Father or Spirit are seen.

And Jesus ended His prayer with "not My will, but YOUR will be done".

Jesus doesn't wear 3 hats.

Jesus is human and therefore has a human will.

Ever hear of the hypostatic union?

The members of the Trinity are distinct in that the Father is a Spirit without flesh and so is the Holy Spirit also. The Son being distinct from them in that He is come in the flesh; and the Holy Spirit being distinct from the Father in that He has lived a human life (Luke 23:46) and therefore experientially understands humanity; whereas the pre-incarnate Father, before He descended and ascended, does not have the experiential knowledge of being human (and thus does not know the fear of death).
Your last sentence denies the attribute of omniscience of God then. I believe that all members of the Trinity are all knowing.

Yes, absolutely. Jesus is full humanity and full Deity. Neither God the Father nor God the Spirit have a human spirit. So they can't all be the same God. There are 3 Persons in the single Godhead.

God the Father and God the Spirit are the Spirit of Jesus.

Are you a mormon?

The Trinity dictates that Father, Son, and Holy Ghost are the same God;

mormonism denies this.

Jesus was not Omniscient when He walked the earth (Mark 13:32).
You just don't know Scripture.

Mark 2:8 - Immediately Jesus knew in his spirit that this was what they were thinking in their hearts, and he said to them, “Why are you thinking these things?

That is omniscience.

That is the Holy Spirit revealing something to Him. Did you read the scripture that I gave?

Absolutely not.

The Trinity dictates that Father, Son, and Holy Ghost are the same God;
No, you are wrong about that. The Trinity means the 3 Persons all have the same attributes.
You would do well to believe in one God (James 2:19).

Believing in three Gods is not in the realm of orthodoxy.

Your views are basically the 'Jesus only' movement.
I have a background with the "Jesus-only" movement; but I differ from them in that I believe that there are distinctions in the members of the Trinity.

Unless I was not with them long enough to receive teaching on the Trinity that I have received from my Bible because I have the Holy Ghost through the fulfillment of the condition of the promise in Acts 2:38-39.

@FreeGrace2,

In your opinion, are the Father and Jesus different Spirits?

For I consider that there is one Spirit (Ephesians 4:4); even God (John 4:24).

Since this is the case, is Jesus a different Spirit from the Father?

Is Jesus God, in your opinion?

Is the Father God?

Because there is one Spirit (Ephesians 4:4); even God (John 4:24).

So, if Jesus is not the same Spirit as the Father, He is not God.

Or, if you consider that Jesus is God, then the Father is not God; since God is one Spirit; and therefore if Jesus is God, He is that one Spirit; and therefore the father cannot be that Spirit; unless they ate the same Spirit.

Is Jesus a Spirit, in your opinion? If He is not, then He is not God (John 4:24).

But if He is God, then He is a Spirit (John 4:24); even the same Spirit as the Father; since God is one Spirit (John 4:24, Ephesians 4:4).

Therefore, Jesus and the Father cannot be separate Spirits; since there is one Spirit (Ephesians 4:4), even God (John 4:24).

I disagree sort of ( just for discussion) in that Our God is one

Father , Son and Holy Spirit Is how we can know him and understand him and even partake of his spirit through believing the things he said about receiving his spirit.

The son is the manifestation of God in the flesh

“And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory.”
‭‭1 Timothy‬ ‭3:16‬ ‭KJV‬‬

from his baptism forward almighty Gods spirit is with and in him speaking teaching and leading him through the events of the gospel. When your reading the gospel knowing it’s God manifest and walking among men .

It gives us an opportunity to know the same God hidden behind a cloud behind the wall of fire since Eden . Because he has made himself known in Christ and spoken his words in Christ he showed us and told us and said believe

“Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. If ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also: and from henceforth ye know him, and have seen him.

Philip saith unto him, Lord, shew us the Father, and it sufficeth us.

Jesus saith unto him, Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me, Philip? he that hath seen me hath seen the Father; and how sayest thou then, Shew us the Father?

Believest thou not that I am in the Father, and the Father in me? the words that I speak unto you I speak not of myself: but the Father that dwelleth in me, he doeth the works.”
‭‭John‬ ‭14:6-10‬ ‭KJV‬‬

I guess it’s ok to see things differently , I see Jesus as a revelation to mankind of the unknown and unseen God who in Christ made himself known to all by sending forth his gospel .

I think he became what we needed to be saved the perfect man, perfect sacrifice , perfect soul , perfect spirit , perfect priest , perfect king ect and he did this in Jesus Christ .

but I don’t believe Gods who is spirit ever left the throne in heaven during the time he was accomplishing these thkngs in Christ because he’s not limited to one place he is able to be in heaven the spiritual realm , and on earth the flesh realm and even enter Sheol after his death to overcome deaths dominion by the same spirit that he was glorified with after his death.

Of course this means God the father is spirit that dwelt within Jesus Christ with his own spirit from birth .

God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.”
‭‭John‬ ‭4:24‬ ‭KJV‬‬

When Christ came forth to be born in the world he was spirit made flesh in order to reveal himself

“In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us,

(and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,)

full of grace and truth.”
‭‭John‬ ‭1:1, 14‬ ‭KJV‬‬

but just before he died and would rise he was going to be glorified in the spirit again he was about to leave his flesh

“And now, O Father, glorify thou me with thine own self with the glory which I had with thee before the world was.”
‭‭John‬ ‭17:5‬ ‭KJV‬‬

I believe God is one and has manifested himself in three particular ways to us Father , Son , Holy Spirit the doctrine for all three found in Christs gospel. And in him bodily after his resurrection and glorification.

they aren’t seperate in my own personal view but one God revealing himself three ways in a doctrine meant to save us and make us the children of the one God

but that’s only my own view

Christ says in scriptures...He and God are one.
Yes I agree scripture also presents God To us in three ways

“For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one.”
‭‭1 John‬ ‭5:7‬ ‭

The word in heaven was made flesh ( the son born on earth )

“In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.

In him was life; and the life was the light of men. …And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.”
‭‭John‬ ‭1:1, 3-4, 14‬ ‭KJV‬‬

so as the father and holy ghost remained in heaven Jesus was born on the flesh later though at his baptism father son and Holy Ghost came together in one in Jesus Christ for the time we read of his miraculous birth , short miraculous healing and preaching ministry on earth , his death and resurrection and ascension to the throne of God in heaven

Jesus in my view is the only way we could know the father or Holy Ghost because only Jesus the word made flesh was manifest it’s our God being shown To us on our world in the flesh and only in the gospel do we learn of God the father calling us his children and receiving his Holy Spirit. Living forever in the kingdom with Jesus ect

I just see it as God making himself known showing himself to
Man kind and becoming everything we needed to be saved for shepherd and comforter , to father and savior , to sacrifice and eventually Risen up and glorified high priest in heaven always interceding for us

I believe Jesus To be almighty God revealing himself to us but it’s only my own view from study

I would ask you, @Pilgrimshope,

If you believe that the Father is a Spirit without flesh; and the Son, the same Spirit come in human flesh?

Do you believe that an added nature of humanity might make for a difference in personality?

I believe that God, after living one eternal moment, descended to take on an added nature of human flesh.

In that eternal moment, He inhabiteth eternity (Isaiah 57:15); and is a Spirit without flesh.

I believe that taking on an added nature of human flesh produces a distinct Person; while we are also talking about the same Spirit (Ephesians 4:4, John 4:24).
