Your "fire" is "strange fire"....God doesn't like "strange fire.":giggle:
Your "fire" is "strange fire"....God doesn't like "strange fire.":giggle:
Me thinks not.

The Hebrew word translated “strange” means “unauthorized, foreign, or profane.” God not only rejected their sacrifice; He found it so offensive that He consumed the two men with fire.

"One day, two of Aaron’s sons, Nadab and Abihu, came along and offered incense with “strange fire.” --Leviticus

I do NOT follow word of faith preachers!
They have NOT been anointed by God,Jesus, nor the Holy Spirit!

I am baptized with the Holy Spirit as on Pentecost!
He can NOT be taught to anyone and he can NOT be controlled, He is God,also.

He doesn't need small minded preachers misrepresenting him as ONLY A GOD OF LOVE,LOVE, LOVE!

He is jealous, gets angry, sends chaistement and wrath!

He sent ALL he had to die for a sinful world to be brought into a relationship with God!

Yes he is merciful, compassionate and loving.
However these preachers that have been named here.(.word of faith.)..are false and tickle peoples ears that DO NOT want the truth!

Study the WHOLE BIBLE,don't cling to the coat tails of men!

@Laffter
I do not understand you thinking what I said about the HS not being controlled nor taught....
Are you mental?
Or all tanked up on laughter?

Well, God has chosen to let the tares grow up with the wheat....at harvest time, God will know how to separate the two. I'm really not concerned at all! I'm just enjoying His Love!:giggle:
And this is where you and I differ--"For God so loved the world"--that's the whole world, not just the believer. And he wants us to love the world too--he said before He ascended, "Go make disciples of all men" And he wants all believers to call out sin and false teachers. Why do you think Paul warned us? If we don't warn other believers, then who will?

Would you not warn someone who started to turn on a one way street with a semi coming in their direction? Would you warn them not to take a short cut thru a field where a wild bull might gore them? Would you warn them if they were about to eat a deadly plant that would surely end up killing them?

I'm not following you here.

That has nothing to do with people laughing like madmen, telling jokes, pretending to be drunk, and all that stuff at a church service. It is evident that Hagin and Copeland are 100% fake. And like you said all we have to do is look at their fruits.

What does the scripture you posted have to do with what was taking place in those videos?

When first reading that scripture it does make you chuckle a little bit because of how old she was at the time...she laughed because she thought it wasn't possible. Then you realize it really wasn't good that she laughed when the Lord answers back and she even got scared and lied about it.

Those verses say nothing about Holy Spirit laughter...I'm not saying that one shouldn't be joyful but I've never seen anything in scripture that upholds what is taking place in those videos.
If you follow the posts back to the beginning, I was responding to the concept that Sarah's laughter was sinful and that Isaac's name; which means "laughter" was based on the sin of Sarah.

It should be clear that Sarah laughed also in a non-sinful manner in the passage that I quoted from.

I hear you saying you love a lot of human beings. How about the Lord Jesus? Or His word?
If you love Jesus, will you not love those who belong to Him?

1Jo 4:20, If a man say, I love God, and hateth his brother, he is a liar: for he that loveth not his brother whom he hath seen, how can he love God whom he hath not seen?
1Jo 4:21, And this commandment have we from him, That he who loveth God love his brother also.

Mark 16:18 says: "and if they drink anything deadly, it shall by no means hurt them;"

I think it would be interesting to take a genuine bottle of poison to one of Daniel Adam's or Kathryn Krick's meetings and challenge them to drink it. I mean, the text is very clear. Do you think they'd be up for it?

Lafftur, why don't you do this the next time you're at one the so-called miracle worker's meetings. Surely the Spirit would confirm your beliefs.
Why don't you do that also with some of your favorite teachers...

See if they will even go for it.

Other manifestions (holy laughter similar to Indian Cult) http://www.deceptioninthechurch.com/laugh1.htm

Yet another interesting factor is that Bhagwan Shree Rajneesh was called the "divine drunkard" by his followers.(32) Hundreds of people flew to India to "drink" from Rajneesh's "wine."(33) "Often referred to as being 'drunk on the divine,' Rajneesh encouraged his followers to come and 'drink' from him. Bhagvhan's (sic) spiritual 'wine' was often passed along with a single touch to the head. Many of his Sannyasins [disciples] would fall to the floor in ecstasy after their encounters with Rajneesh."(34) (Does this sound strangely familiar?! Something is wrong with the church when it starts to experience the same phenomena as the occultists.)
People from India can't know Jesus?

Do you have information that leads you to believe that Rajneesh's situation was given to him through a religion other than Christianity?

If you do, then I'll shut up.

But the fact that the guy has an Indian name does not automatically identify him as a false prophet.

Would you tell someone to NOT drink of God’s Living Water when God wants them to drink and be refreshed?

It’s odd to me that you consider Holy Spirit Laughter as sudden death…a semi or wild bull….seriously?!:giggle:

I'm led by the Holy Spirit, not Holier-than-thous. You won't watch that video because you're too proud too...prove me wrong! You won't have to tell me...only you will know! Well, that's not completely accurate.

You are a word of faith believer having your ears tickled to make you feel good..lol

You know nothing that you should know if you were studying the word instead of following man.

Only God can help you,so this is it between me to you!

Did God name him laughter? Isaac was his name not laughter God did not say that your seed will be called in laughter. He said in Isaac (son of Abraham) your seed will be called.

Also who translated his name to be laughter? Was it God or man? and exactly why was his name translated to be laughter?

The scripture says that Sarah laughed in unbelief when she was told she would have a child at the age of 90 and the Lord called her out on her unbelief and laughing at what God had said. She even tried to lie and say that she did not laugh.

Genesis 18
12 Therefore Sarah laughed within herself, saying, After I am waxed old shall I have pleasure, my lord being old also?

13 And the Lord said unto Abraham, Wherefore did Sarah laugh, saying, Shall I of a surety bear a child, which am old?

14 Is any thing too hard for the Lord? At the time appointed I will return unto thee, according to the time of life, and Sarah shall have a son.

15 Then Sarah denied, saying, I laughed not; for she was afraid. And he said, Nay; but thou didst laugh.
What's your point?

The point is that scripture says nothing about rolling on the ground laughing is given by the Holy Spirit or even inspired by the Holy Spirit.

We can't just hunt through the scriptures and try to find anything at all to justify a belief especially if the scripture we are quoting has nothing to do with an idea or belief. That is a far reach.

There is nothing in scripture that even suggests that the Holy Spirit will cause people to roll on the ground laughing.
