So why do you reject 1 Thess 4:13-18 ???
There will be no rapture until HIS Second Coming for the Resurrection FIRST
For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a loud command, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God, and the dead in Christ will be the first to rise.
After that, we who are alive and remain will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so we will always be with the Lord.
So why do you reject 1 Thess 4:13-18 ???

For our mutual benefit i have placed A, B, C, D so we can see together here exactly what is said without adding or taking away.
A.) Brothers, we do not want you to be uninformed about those who sleep in death, so that you will not grieve like the rest, who are without hope. For since we believe that Jesus died and rose again, we also believe
that God will bring with Jesus those who have fallen asleep in Him.
B.) By the word of the Lord, we declare to you that we who are alive and remain until the coming of the Lord will by no means precede those who have fallen asleep.
C.) For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a loud command, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God, and the dead in Christ will be the first to rise.
D.) After that, we who are alive and remain will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so we will always be with the Lord.
A.) We who are alive have hope for our loved ones in Christ who have died. They are with Christ now and God will bring their spirits/souls with Christ for the Second Coming

This is NOT the Second Coming, David, this is the rapture of the church before the tribulation begins.
All the true believers who are alive on earth will be given glorified bodies, and all who have died in the past in Christ are brought with Christ to receive their glorified bodies. They go to be with the Lord and then the tribulation begins, God's wrath on unbelieving man on earth. All now on earth are unbelievers.

There is no prior coming of the Lord Jesus Christ other then His Second Coming.
Whoever told you that came from religion and is a man-made common teaching, but is error.

Now, maybe i'm wrong so can you please bring forth the Scripture that says:

i absolutely take the literal approach, which i am now embracing in 1 Thess 4:13-18
i asked for Scripture from you Brother - i stand on the ground that neither myself, you or anyone other then the Scripture
has any Authority over His Body.
How can two walk together unless they agree? -Amos 3:3
Since the LORD has called us unto Himself, why place a stumbling block (religion) before your Brother???
If you are unable to agree on the Authority of Scripture Itself, how are you able to speak Truth and even know that you are in the Truth???
I am not asking that You take them out of the world, but that You keep them from the evil one. They are not of the world, just as I am not of the world.
Sanctify them by the truth; Your word is truth.
As You sent Me into the world, I have also sent them into the world.
For them I sanctify Myself, so that they too may be sanctified by the truth.
Do you believe this???
