The FACT remains that grown adults should be able to tell the difference between literal and figurative language--if you want to take that as an ad hominem attack, so be it. What's so much worse is that because of this, the truth of scripture is being badly misinterpreted.
Every pointed finger has three pointing backwards :)

Pretty much AGREE (y) (I suspect we differ *slightly* on the details of the timing of items falling within these "7 years, but basically pretty much AGREE).
And I agree there are "9 'after these'" which fall WITHIN the "7 year period" (y)

(this does not mean I think that each mention of this is spaced something like "280 days apart"... just to be clear to the readers :D )

Pretty much agree. (y)

(note: I see the 24 elders, who say, "hast redeemed US" as being the completed "Church WHICH IS HIS BODY" / or, at the very least representing it/us)
Agreed. (y)

More ppl will indeed be coming to faith in Christ FOLLOWING "our Rapture" (while they are IN / EXPERIENCING what is commonly called the Tribulation period [the 7 year period])

I suspect we differ slightly as to the matter of what event / events mark the MID-point.

I see the "5th Trumpet [events] / 1st Woe unto the earth" as pretty much being the MID-point (Rev9:1,12 / Rev12:12,9,14 / Rev8:13;
the "abyss / bottomless pit" is not opened more than ONCE during the 7-yr period;
and I see the "2Ws' 1260 days" as STRADDLING the two halves somewhat, with THEIR "1260 days" concluding in the "6th Trumpet [events] / 2nd Woe"... that being somewhat AFTER the MID-trib point [which is 5th Trumpet]);

...so while there are 9 mentions of "after these," I see 1:19c as like a summary intro statement...
...and I see 4:1's TWO mentions as speaking of the same thing (the 7 years' commencing point, so to speak);

... so that if you were to list these mentions ("after these") out (minus the INTRO summary one, and combining the two in 4:1), there would be a LIST of SEVEN mentions... so (as I see it) it would be the MIDDLE ONE of those SEVEN (9:12) that I see as reflecting on what just took place surrounding the MID-trib point / events ("5th Trumpet [events; 9:1] / 1st Woe unto the earth")...

...so you and I only differ SLIGHTLY on the nitty-gritty details of the timing of certain items WITHIN the 7 Trib years...

...no biggie. = )

(y)

P.S. on this general point ^ ... This doesn't mean I think the mention of "after these" in 7:9 is speaking of things within the first half (since it would be among the LISTED mentions falling in the LIST before the 9:12 mention [MID-trib events point])... since I see the phrase (in 7:14) "[coming out of] the GREAT tribulation" to be referring specifically to the SECOND HALF of the 7 years... not that these folks don't EXIST in the first half... lol

...we only differ SLIGHTLY on the timing of this point, in particular (for reasons I explained a little, above).

Pretty much AGREED. (y)

Yes, I am among those who DO see a "pre-trib" Rapture of "the Church WHICH IS HIS BODY" (us)... with more ppl coming to faith in Christ FOLLOWING "our Rapture" (when they are IN the Trib); I've stated in past posts that "our Rapture" is a primary IMPETUS that helps Israel turn in faith to Christ... and it is THEY who go on [in the Trib yrs] to DO the "INVITING" TO the earthly MK age, which follows the 7 years and commences upon Christ's "RETURN" to the earth (RETURNING *with* us / the Church WHICH IS HIS BODY)
It is so very close what you and I are seeing!!! And that is very good news to me. And I think it is possible to fill what little is lacking; after all He says to bear up one another, and you have already been doing that with me, thank you!! And you are striving with me in the Spirit of God. I am very interested to see what you will have to say about this, so please be candid as before.

Phl 1:27 Only conduct yourselves in a manner worthy of the gospel of Christ, so that whether I come and see you or remain absent, I will hear of you that you are standing firm in one spirit, with one mind striving together for the faith of the gospel.

You mentioned 280 day segments: I was not suggesting that the "After These Things" were evenly segmented periods of time. But what is evident, is that 6 of the "After These Things" have been fulfilled before the Bowls of Wrath Begin, (as follows) when all the Holy Ones are in attendance (with the exception of those raised at the end of the week) (((when the martyrs out of the second half of the tribulations are raised to reign on earth with us (and with Israel) for a thousand years.))) Again, the following is the Sixth "After these things" being fulfilled immediately before the Bowl Judgements begin.

Rev 15:2 And I saw something like a sea of glass mixed with fire, and those who had been victorious over the beast and his image and the number of his name, standing on the sea of glass, holding harps of God. 3 And they sang (((the song of Moses))), the bond-servant of God, and (((the song of the Lamb))), saying, "Great and marvelous are Your works, O Lord God, the Almighty; Righteous and true are Your ways, King of the nations! 4 "Who will not fear, O Lord, and glorify Your name? Because You alone are holy; And ALL THE NATIONS WILL COME AND WORSHIP BEFORE YOU, FOR YOUR RIGHTEOUS ACTS HAVE BEEN REVEALED." 5 (After these things) I looked, and the temple of the tabernacle of testimony in heaven was (((opened))), 6 and the seven angels who have the seven plagues came out of the temple, clothed in [linen, clean and bright, and girded around their chests with golden sashes. 7 Then one of the four living creatures gave to the seven angels seven golden bowls full of the wrath of God, who lives forever and ever. 8 And the temple was filled with smoke from the glory of God and from His power; and ((((no one could enter the temple)))) (until) the seven plagues of the seven angels (((were finished.)))

Brother, Right before we see all of these on the sea of glass there is a kaleidoscope of information which (in part) comprehends the broken treaty ("the middle of the week") when the two witnesses are killed; but are raised from the dead 3 1/2 days after the Image of the Beast is placed in the temple in the middle of the week. Satan's man (the Beast) Has broken the treaty which is the basis of Throwing Satan out of the presence of God (never allowed to "accuse the brethren" again.) In Satan's desperation he seeks to kill the remnant of Israel in an attempt to prove God in breach of promises to to them. But with the two witnesses raised, immediately we're seeing the seventh trumpet sound, indicative of the Kingdom of heaven being fulfilled, even the beginning of celebrations in view. This kaleidoscope of information comprehends all the actors and their profiles, to comprehend who they are in the future, but moreover what they have done in the past, and all this leading up to the showdown, the last seven years: (The Lamb, Satan, Israel, the beast of the sea, the beast from the earth, (comprehending salvation and historical enmity) against the very people through whom the (((seed))) would come. That is to say, almost all of these things are comprehending what has been fulfilled/completed (immediately before) the the Seventh trumpet Sounds...

Rev 10:7 Therefore, in the days of the voice of the seventh angel, when he is about to sound, then the mystery of God is finished, (((((as He preached to His servants the prophets))))).

And then here we have it:

Rev 11:15 Then the seventh angel sounded; and there were loud voices in heaven, saying, "The kingdom of the world has become the kingdom of our Lord and of His Christ; and He will reign forever and ever."

But there is one problem in saying/showing all of this; even the reason we (the elect in Christ) will have trouble agreeing on everything. And this has nothing to do with a mystery that is impossible to understand. It has to do with the sixth empire being destroyed, and who was at the reins of that empire; with (((literally every original piece of the original manuscripts of Revelations vanishing))) into thin air. And this woman who is at the reins makes great claims to have been the custodian of these things. We have only two (very small) scrapes of the Book, and they are copies separated by at least a hundred years of the original (And this last statement is what everyone has agreed upon.) All the rest of the copies (in which there are many) are even farther away from the signature... The book says that the one having added or taken away form the text will be having all the plagues of the Book. The is another thing that everyone is agreeing upon (even the woman's own historians) that almost wherever she's gone in the world it has been a plague upon humanity. The prophecy says the the woman would live securely, but everyone else would suffer the consequence of her passions. The first verse below comprehends the woman's brief loss of prominence in that when Angel's are flying around the earth announcing what is (The Eternal Gospel) it is immediately evident that she has been selling what isn't the Gospel for almost to thousand years.
Rev 14:6, 8 I saw another angel flying in midheaven, having an eternal gospel to preach to those who live on the earth, and to every nation and tribe and tongue and people; 8 And another angel, a second one, followed, saying, “Fallen, fallen is Babylon the great, she who has made all the nations drink of the wine of the passion of her immorality.”

Remember that when the two witness are raise the nations are enraged, having been deceived, having had all their confidence in their false profit and the Beast; but now they (those with the mark of the beast) are knowing they have been tethered to, and will have to endure Seven Bowls of God's Wrath.

Psa 2:1 Why are the nations in an uproar, and the peoples devising a vain thing? 2 The kings of the earth take their stand, and the rulers take counsel together against the LORD and against His Anointed, saying, 3 "Let us tear their fetters apart and cast away their cords from us!" 4 He who sits in the heavens laughs, The Lord scoffs at them. 5 Then He will speak to them in His anger And terrify them in His wrath, saying, 6 "But as for Me, I have installed My King Upon Zion, My holy mountain." 7 "I will surely tell of the decree of the LORD: He said to Me, 'You are My Son, Today I have begotten You. 8 'Ask of Me, and I will surely give the nations as Your inheritance, And the very ends of the earth as Your possession. 9 'You shall break them with a rod of iron, You shall shatter them like pottery

An obvious forgery needs to be pointed out in that it deals with tensed in the Greek; and it should be understood that from chapter 11:7 everything starts playing out as though it were in real time; but notice what happens at v18. Only in respect to verse 18 has there been alteration of tenses; whereas v19 falls back to real time like that of v7 through v17. We will adjust the wording to reflect the actual Greek tense (in red) even adjusting for what is erroneous translation also. It should be pointed out the six different Greek words are all translated to destroy, but when examining entomology closely, we find out that four of the six Greek words are not conveying meanings relating to total destruction as we find in the King James or the NASB; and the same is true for "Judgement" more than five different Greek words translated in this way, as though none of the dead were going to be vindicated/G2919/krino.

érchomai, middle voice of a primary verb (used only in the (present) and imperfect tenses,

Rev 11:18 “And the nations rage, and Your wrath is coming/G2064/erchomai , and the time came for the dead to be vindicated/G2919/krino , and the time to reward Your bond-servants the prophets and the saints and those who fear Your name, the small and the great, and to desecrate/G1311 those who desecrate/G1311/diaphtheiro the earth.”

(The backlash of these realizations (RAGE) leads to the looting and arson assault on the harlot's meeting places (Her flesh).

Rev 17:1 Then (((one of the seven angels))) who had the seven bowls came and spoke with me, saying, "Come here, I will show you the judgment of the great harlot who sits on many waters

Rev 17:16 “And the ten horns which you saw, and the beast, these will hate the harlot and will make her desolate and naked, and will eat her flesh and will burn her with fire.

And remember that parts of chapter seventeen is the synthesis of what started happening to the harlot immediately after the seventh trumpet sounded; (That is the tormenting prophets rising from the dead)

Rev 11:10 And those who dwell on the earth will rejoice over them and celebrate; and they will send gifts to one another, because these two prophets tormented those who dwell on the earth.

Even noticing that a (Bowl Angel) (one having orchestrated the bowls) that is, he's giving the review of (all that relates to the Harlot while adding many other (aspects respective to her profile throughout history); all of this spilling into chapter eighteen (when by the end of the chapter) the greatest of all earthquakes in history will crumble the (very fragile) vessels of the potter)

All these things demonstrate God's case and indictment against the Great Harlot.

Rev 18:3 “For all the nations have drunk of the wine of her passions for immorality, and the kings of the earth have committed acts of immorality with her, and the merchants of the earth have become rich by the wealth of her sensuality.”

Rev 16:18 And there were flashes of lightning and sounds and peals of thunder; and there was a great earthquake, such as there had not been since man came to be upon the earth, so great an earthquake was it, and so mighty. 19 The great city was split into three parts, and the cities of the nations fell. Babylon the great was remembered before God, to give her the cup of the wine of His fierce wrath. 20 And every island fled away, and the mountains were not found. 21 And huge [fn]hailstones, about [fn]one hundred pounds each, came down from heaven upon men; and men blasphemed God because of the plague of the hail, because its plague was extremely severe.

But despite all this evidence (starting with Hippolytus of Rome: the False Prophet Who Cursed the people of God) has insisted that the Jewish People are in fact the Great Harlot: Something that is entirely impossible, and yet they were able to convince much of the world to believe in this despicable lie. Leaving even those innocent of this hatred wondering how all of this could be. You see the Harlot placed Jerusalem as the the Great City and Rome as the Holy City. But there is cause to believe this lie could all be true, within the very book we have revered to be true?

I think it's would be prudent to assume there is content within Revelations that has been (adjusted) to fit a narrative for Jerusalem being the Great City; but not where it's talking about that; something a lot more cunning than that, something that has kept almost all of us with some doubts.

I think Roman Authorities were knowing of a book that was indicating their "Eternal City" was to be destroyed. Since nothing exists of original manuscripts it safe to say there would be quite a commotion at times. Regardless of riding the world of all of these documents people would still have these truths in their hearts; and that would be especially Jews that were dispersed by all the commotion. It would be prudent to believe that a completely imposter church was formed to solve this problem with adjusted copies that over time would be revealed. Paul and John are both witnesses of an emerging group, even prophecy from Jesus written within the warnings for the Churches. Paul said there was false apostles and Jesus is telling us the same thing, even Jesus' own sheep were witnesses, and finding them to be false. The Sixth Seal and the Sixth Bowl of Wrath were switched; creating an (almost) insurmountable loss of continuity.
Rev 18:21 Then a strong angel took up a stone like a great millstone and threw it into the sea, saying, “So will Babylon, the great city, be thrown down with violence, and will not be found any longer.

Good Morning Dear Friend,

KEY to Understanding = The LORD say this to Peter BEFORE he went the the Cross and His Resurrection.

The Way was Opened for us made NEW after His Resurrection.

When Jesus had cried out again in a loud voice, He yielded up His spirit.
At that moment the veil of the temple was torn in two from top to bottom. The earth quaked and the rocks were split. The tombs broke open, and the bodies of many saints who had fallen asleep were raised. After Jesus’ resurrection, when they had come out of the tombs, they entered the holy city and appeared to many people. Matt ch27

Seeing then that we have a great High Priest who has passed through the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our confession. For we do not have a High Priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but was in all points tempted as we are, yet without sin. Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need.

To me, who am less than the least of all the saints, this grace was given, that I should preach among the Gentiles the unsearchable riches of Christ, and to make all see what is the fellowship of the mystery, which from the beginning of the ages has been hidden in God who created all things through Jesus Christ; to the intent that now the manifold wisdom of God might be made known by the church to the principalities and powers in the heavenly places, according to the eternal purpose which He accomplished in Christ Jesus our Lord, in whom we have boldness and access with confidence through faith in Him.

Therefore I ask that you do not lose heart at my tribulations for you, which is your glory.
How about these?

2Co 5:8 we are of good courage, I say, and prefer rather to be absent from the body and to be at home with the Lord.
Rom 8:23 And not only this, but also we ourselves, having the first fruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, waiting eagerly for our adoption as sons, the redemption of our body.

2Co 5:2 For indeed in this house we groan, longing to be clothed with our dwelling from heaven,

2Co 5:4 For indeed while we are in this tent, we groan, being burdened, because we do not want to be unclothed but to be clothed, so that what is mortal will be swallowed up by life.

This short video from Unlearn the Lies makes clear using scripture that we do not enter Paradise until the Resurrection and cannot do so until we receive our new immortal bodies---how important it is to understand this truth.

He also explains one of the most misquoted verses in Scripture,

"We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body and to be present with the Lord."---2nd Corinthians 5:8

It starts with One for Israel--that is an Ad-- you need to click 'skip ad'

This video has an old school style, but this man does an excellent job 'testing scripture against scripture' showing we do not ascend to heaven before the resurrection.

There have been four men (not counting Jesus) that were taken up = Enoch, Elijah, Paul(?) and John but they were never Transformed into His Glorious Body as that will not occur until His Second Coming.
Oh come on David!!

“Come up Here!”

Rev 3:22 ‘He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit is saying to the churches.’”

Jesus says that the seven churches are the seven golden lamp stands

Rev 1:20 “As for the mystery of the seven stars which you saw in My right hand, and the seven golden lampstands: the seven stars are the angels of the seven churches, and the seven lampstands are the seven churches

Jesus says that He walks among the seven golden lamp stands

Rev 2:1“To the angel of the church in Ephesus write: The One who holds the seven stars in His right hand, the One who walks among the seven golden lampstands, says this:

Now Jesus is saying He is holding the Seven Spirits of God. And we will soon see where they come from and where they go.

Rev 3:1 “To the angel of the church in Sardis write: He who has the seven Spirits of God and the seven stars, says this: ‘I know your deeds, that you have a name that you are alive, but you are dead.

Ok here is the Rapture but more importantly is what comes after this verse and the next

Rev 4:1 After these things I looked, and behold, a door open in heaven, and the first voice which I had heard, like the sound of a trumpet speaking with me, said, "Come up here, and I will show you what must take place after these things.

After a reception of lightning and thunder Seven Lamps of Fire appear in front of the throne; and look what it says they are. Now the lamps that were on earth are before the throne, and do you remember what Jesus said the lamps were: thats right He said the were the churches; But now they are being called the Seven Spirits of God. And it just keeps getting better.

Rev 4:5 Out from the throne come flashes of lightning and sounds and peals of thunder. And there were seven lamps of fire burning before the throne, which are the seven Spirits of God

So lets do a little review: Jesus said that the seven golden lamps on earth are the churches. Then after a voice like the sound of trumpet says come up here, and after a reception of lightning and thunder coming out from the throne: now the seven lamps are in heaven, but now they are being called the Seven Spirit of God. So you can look at the previous verse to see that it's all true. But move forward is the greatest thing we could ever see. So now we know the Seven Spirits of God are the Seven Churches.
Rev 5:6 And I saw between the throne (with the four living creatures) and the elders a Lamb standing, as if it had been slain, having seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven Spirits of God, that were sent out into all the earth.

So there we have it. The greatest thing one could ever imagine: Right there is the Head of the Lamb are Seven Eyes that are the Seven Spirits of God that were sent to ALL THE EARTH.

So We are on The Throne Just As Jesus Promised We would be. Therefore, We are Raptured off of the Earth and seated on Our throne, Immediately before all the Murder and Mayhem begins.

Below is the Promise.

Rev 3:21-22 ‘He who overcomes, I will grant to Him to sit down with Me on My throne, just as I also overcame and sat down with My Father on His throne. Rev

Rev 3:22 ‘He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit is saying to the churches.’”

i have to go now but will read this(secretly) later today.

But you, when you pray, go into your room, and when you have shut your door, pray to your Father who is in the secret place; and your Father who sees in secret will reward you openly.
Contextually, it seems that Jesus is saying (that what is hidden) is the Name that no one knows except the one to whom it's been given.

2Pe 1:3 Seeing that His divine power has granted to us everything pertaining to life and godliness, through the true knowledge of Him who called us by His own glory and excellence.

Eph 3:16, 20; 4:7, 13 that He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with power through His Spirit in the inner man, 20 Now to Him who is able to do far more abundantly beyond all that we ask or think, according to the power that works within us, 4:7 and to each one of us grace was given according to the measure of Christ’s gift. 13 until we all attain to the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a mature man, to the measure of the stature which belongs to the fullness of Christ.

Jde 1:24 Now to Him who is able to keep you from falling, and to present you standing in the presence of His glory; faultless with exceeding joy, 25 to the only wise God our Savior, from Jesus Christ our Lord, be glory, majesty, dominion and power, both now and forever more. Amen.

Lamb are Seven Eyes that are the Seven Spirits of God that were sent to ALL THE EARTH.

Dan 7:13“I kept looking in the night visions, And behold, One like a Son of Man was coming on the clouds of heaven. And He came up to be presented before the Ancient of Days.

People ask where the Rapture is in the old Testament. It's in the Little Book/Daniel where we see many aspects of Revelations.

Rev 3:22 ‘He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit is saying to the churches.’”

Dear Laura, Set yourself FREE from such unbelief.

The guy in the video just followed the plan of satan, from the beginning: "Did God really say......?"

OH MY what foolish incorrect and destructive teaching.

What did our LORD say about this = "Get behind ME satan for you care not about the things of God but of men" Matt 16:23

And when the Lamb opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of those who had been slain for the word of God and for the testimony they had upheld.
And they cried out in a loud voice, “How long, O Lord, holy and true, until You avenge our blood and judge those who dwell upon the earth?”

Then
each of them was given a white robe and told to rest a little while longer, until the full number of their fellow servants, their brothers, were killed, just as they had been killed. Rev 6:9-11

Dear Laura, the Saints who die are immediately brought to there Home which is Heaven and they are fully conscious, speak to God, are clothed by God and they hear God speak to them.

PEACE

@Friend . . . Greetings! :)

After these things I looked, and behold, a door standing open in heaven. And the first voice which I heard was like a trumpet speaking with me, saying, "Come up here, and I will show you things which must take place after this." Immediately I was in the Spirit; and behold, a throne set in heaven, and One sat on the throne.

- Revelation 4:1-2

I was in the Spirit on the Lord's Day, and I heard behind me a loud voice, as of a trumpet, saying, "I am the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last," and, "What you see, write in a book and send it to the seven churches which are in Asia: to Ephesus, to Smyrna, to Pergamos, to Thyatira, to Sardis, to Philadelphia, and to Laodicea."

- Revelation 1:10-11

It's worth emphasizing that it was John, not the church, who was told to "come up here." A misunderstanding of this can easily lead to false doctrine being taught.

“Come up Here!”

Jesus has a mystery and says the seven churches are the seven lamp stands
Rev 1:20 “As for the mystery of the seven stars which you saw in My right hand, and the seven golden lampstands: the seven stars are the angels of the seven churches, and the seven lampstands are the seven churches

Jesus says He walks among the seven golden lamp stands

Rev 2:1“To the angel of the church in Ephesus write: The One who holds the seven stars in His right hand, the One who walks among the seven golden lampstands, says this:

Now Jesus is saying He is holding the Seven Spirits of God. We see where they come from and where they go.

Rev 3:1 “To the angel of the church in Sardis write: He who has the seven Spirits of God and the seven stars, says this: ‘I know your deeds, that you have a name that you are alive, but you are dead.

Ok here is the Rapture but more importantly is what comes after this verse and even the next

The greatest thing one could ever imagine: Right there is the Head of the

OH BROTHER..............No churches were caught up to God = PERIOD

For anyone to force pre-trib rapture upon th ewords of the LORD in Rev chapters 1-4, or anywhere, is willful SIN.

Partake in His Righteousness = Deut 4:1-2, Proverbs 30:5-6, Revelation 22:18-19 , John ch17

Every word of God is flawless;
He is a shield to those who take refuge in Him.
Do not add to His words,
lest He rebuke you and prove you a liar.

The 10 virgin parable is a vivid picture of the rapture with half of believers left behind.
I'd put it another way.

The parable of the ten virgins is a clear image of the many people who will be deceived in these latter days and, as a result, will take the mark of the beast. Deception arises from a lack of knowledge, and many people will perish as a result of this lack of knowledge.
