Saved by grace, bro. And the evidence that we're saved is that we keep the commandments, every one Jesus spoke at Sinai: 1 John 2:3-4 KJV Psalms 78:1-2 KJV

The Bible says the people would refuse to hear the truth, but would only desire "smooth sayings". The undisputed, heavyweight world champion of all smooth sayings is OSAS. What could possibly be any smoother a saying than to tell people that they can cling to their Jesus and their sin and still go to heaven?
nobody says that so you lie, you slander the brethren ... sinnerman.

Yes for some reason I thought your post came from phoneman not from you and again I apologize. I have pretty bad eye damage so things can get blurry and mixed up at times which is why I cannot read to much at once or read certain colors of text the white back ground of cc puts a strain on my eyes so I have to really focus and this can at times make things appear blurry my eyes are better on some days than others today was not a good day for them and I made a mistake.
'ok

thank you for explaining Blain

No, darlin, I didn't compare him to anything - I compared "OSAS" to a one night stand, and "Conditional Salvation" to long term marriage.

Whether he loves Christ with all his heart or not is not for me to speculate, but to declare the truth that OSAS is a comfortable lie, and that true believers follow the example of Christ and make the full, permanent surrender of Conditional Salvation.
honey, you speculate on everyone here

too bad you are so hung up on OSAS that you long past walked into a wall and made no further progress

you know what you said. he knows what you said. I know what you said and all of creation groans

Bro, I assure you, the "love" that grows cold and dead, leaving those "many" unable to endure to the end and lost, and in a more spit-worthy condition that the spat out Laodiceans who are merely lukewarm...is the Greek "agape".

I'm beginning to think the "fearful" that are going to be outside the walls of New Jerusalem will include among them those who shut themselves up in a theological bubble and refused to examine themselves and their doctrines to see if both are in the faith.
must be hug a sin day

If you find it, please let me know. As for OSAS, I would like your opinion on the following:

Matthew 24:12 KJV says the "agape" of the "many" shall grow cold. They are contrasted with those in verse 13 who "endure to the end" and are "saved", which means these "many" will be lost. They are also in a worse spiritual condition than are the merely lukewarm Laodiceans who will be rejected and spat out of Jesus' mouth.

These "many" can be none other than the SAINTS - because "agape" is demonstrated by keeping the commandments (1 John 5:3 KJV) but the wicked can't keep God's commandments even if they wanted to (Romans 8:7 KJV).

(I'm still waiting for someone to deconstruct this line of reasoning and prove it wrong, because if not OSAS dies a horribly painful death right here. What say you?)
If you will answer the question I posed to you then I will hapilly answer you my understanding of this.

Bro, Isaiah says the Sabbath is "...MY HOLY DAY". Christians kept the Sabbath everywhere well into the first A.D. millennium, according to Socrates Scholasticus. I been studying the issue for years, friend, so if you think you got a text or historical fact to the contrary, I'd love to hear it ;)
I already told you if you want to be accurate about it go by the lunar calendar we in america go by the solar calender they went by the lunar caldender for them sundown was when the day oficially ended while the next one began while for us that moment is midnight soin a way yes it is saturday by our calendar but on theirs it is sunday

I didin't learn this by some text or anything special I learned it by studying the jewish traditions in fact so much of the bible is written specifically in jewish form much of what Jesus himself said was said in a way for jews because he knew it was what they were accustomed to even just the breaking of the bread was very symbolic to them it was very deep and profound.

You never speak of the indwelling Christ or the new birth.
I never fail to tell those like you who claim "Christians can't keep the law!" about how the indwelling Christ is the power by which "I can do all things through Christ Which strengthens me".

Projecting I am ... you break the law of Moses
It was evil spirits which prompted the unbelieving Jews to accuse obedient Jesus of breaking the Mosaic Law, and 2,000 years later they're still busier than a one legged man in an butt-kicking contest.

When Nathan the prophet confronted David he told him his sin was already put away.
Nathan said David's sin was put away AFTER he confessed it, NOT BEFORE -- are we clear on that?

"If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and cleans us from all unrighteousness".

You call me a liar for repeating things you say I've never heard said? Were you there? People in MY OWN CHURCH have said it! Charles Stanley said it! But, here's your chance to deny it what I've heard with my own ears:

Can a saint presumptuously and impenitently sin and still go to heaven, YES OR NO?

The out-of-control emotionalism of liberal Christianity is no different than that of liberal politics.

Both groups read what isn't written, hear what isn't said, and can't handle being confronted with opinions banned from their safe space.

I've read your testimony before, bro. I pray the Lord will sustain you after all that. Praise God you have a mom who loves and cares for you. Remember that when a father and mother abandon, the Lord picks us up :)

I didn't see any question, though. Can you reply with it now?

The Sabbath isn't based on a lunar calendar - that was the "Feast Days" aka "the Sabbaths of the Jews".

However, the "Sabbath of the Lord" which is "besides" the sabbaths of the Jews (Leviticus 23:38 KJV) is based on the repeating 7 day cycle established in Eden which the Naval Observatory issued a report saying the cycle has never been interrupted. Besides, if it got lost from Eden, God told Abraham who kept all God's statutes, laws, commandments, etc. If it got lost from Abraham, God told Israel. If it got lost from Sinai, Jesus straightened it out, and it's been the same 7 day weekly Sabbath ever since.

But, people ain't as confused as they want us to believe, because if I told a Sunday keeper I'd have a million dollars for him next Sabbath, he'd be there ;)

So you still offer animal sacrifices and stone folks.
No man has ever kept the law except Jesus.
You do not keep the law so why keep harping on it.
