Summary of Bible references on the Rapture

Abstract p.1

This blog is a collection of verse references concerning the day of the Lord and concerning the redemption of our body. I chose to focus on the rapture and to focus even more on the first rapture knowing that this is a controversial topic. The Lord says that “as you see the day approaching” and so one of my goals was to understand from the Bible what we would see that would tell us the day is approaching. I use the gospel of Luke, chapter 21 as my outline for this abstract because Luke is focused on this first rapture (Mark is on the mid tribulation rapture and Matthew on the rapture of Israel). You will see that some of the things mentioned in Mark and Matthew are not here because you will not see them prior to the rapture.

The Widow’s Offering

21 As Jesus looked up, he saw the rich putting their gifts into the temple treasury. 2 He also saw a poor widow put in two very small copper coins. 3 “Truly I tell you,” he said, “this poor widow has put in more than all the others. 4 All these people gave their gifts out of their wealth; but she out of her poverty put in all she had to live on.”

There is a beautiful symmetry here. The chapter ends with us praying that we would be able to escape the coming destruction and to stand before the Son of Man. The chapter begins with this little window into that. Jesus sees everything. He sees how dedicated you are and His math is different from the world. In the world a man who gives $1,000 gave more than a woman who gave $20. But if you are simply skimming off the top you are giving a much smaller percent of your wealth whereas someone who is giving everything they have is giving a much bigger percent. Are you giving all your living or are you giving whatever is extra? What is the point of studying the rapture if you are not going to escape and are not worthy to stand before the Son of Man? Jesus gave everything He had, He gave His life, how can you stand before Him if you have not also given all you have, given all your living?

The Destruction of the Temple and Signs of the End Times

5 Some of his disciples were remarking about how the temple was adorned with beautiful stones and with gifts dedicated to God. But Jesus said, 6 “As for what you see here, the time will come when not one stone will be left on another; every one of them will be thrown down.”

In Corinthians we are told by Paul that we are building the church with gold, silver and precious stones and that our building work will be tested by fire. If it stands the test you receive a reward, if it burns up in the fire you suffer a loss but you will still be saved, yet so as through fire. So there is a judgement going on, the rapture is this judgement. Those who are taken in the first rapture are receiving this reward, those who are left behind will suffer loss just like having a fire burn up everything you have worked for, but they themselves will still be saved. This refers to the two raptures. This temple that the disciples were admiring was about to suffer loss, they built according to their own opinion. They should have recognized that Jesus Christ had come and yet they didn’t. There were very many prophecies including Daniel which told them the exact year He would be crucified and even though they considered themselves Bible scholars they didn’t recognize Him. There was the star of Bethlehem, yet they missed that. There were two thousand kids who were murdered, also a fulfillment of prophecy and yet they missed that. John the Baptist paved the way for Him and yet they missed that. The blind received their sight, the lame walked, the dead were raised and yet they still insisted on not recognizing Him. So the Temple appeared to be made with stones and beautiful gifts, but in God’s eyes it was wood, hay and stubble and would be burned. What happened in 70 AD to the temple and what happened to the Jews is an example of what Paul meant when he said that “we would suffer loss”. We can also see that the Lord is not referring to physical stones, physical gold, or physical silver. These great cathedrals that have been built with their great artwork will also be burned up. No, the gold, silver and precious stones refers to God’s divine nature, Jesus’ redemption, and the Spirit’s transforming work. The Triune God needs to be worked into our being, that is how you build the church. The word of God is fine gold, it is the finest silver, and it is precious stones. We live by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God. Are you constituted with the word of God, is it mingled with your daily living? We need works that express our faith. Abraham offering up Isaac was an example of a work that expressed his faith in God. Wood, hay and stubble refers to works that come from our natural opinion, ideas, and concepts. When you read George Mueller’s biography you will see that his entire work of setting up orphanages rested on a single word that God spoke to him from the Bible. It was a work of faith. His faith was not dead because it had a living expression.

When will these things happen and what will be the sign that they are about to take place?

7 “Teacher,” they asked, “when will these things happen? And what will be the sign that they are about to take place?”

This would be the perfect place for the Lord to respond “no one knows the day or the hour” but He doesn’t. Let that sink deep inside, everything He says is an answer to this question. We will see there are definitely signs that tell us when these things are about to happen. The Magi got a sign and a few months later they see the baby Jesus. The ministry of John the Baptist was a sign. Mary, the mother of Jesus, kept all the different signs in her heart.

Watch out for false prophets

8 He replied: “Watch out that you are not deceived. For many will come in my name, claiming, ‘I am he,’ and, ‘The time is near.’ Do not follow them.

On the one hand there are signs that tell us when these things are about to happen, on the other hand Satan will disguise himself as an angel of light and try to deceive us. The last two thousand years of the church age is filled with false prophets and false Christs (cult leaders) who want people to follow them. The lesson to be learned is not that Christians need to avoid this topic or this chapter, but rather we need to know the Lord. We are His sheep and we know His voice. Second lesson is we should not be ignorant of Satan’s devices. If it is possible to deceive the elect he will do so. The extent of his deceptions and the lengths that he will go to in order to deceive us is incredible. The cult leaders like Jim Jones is the first and most obvious example. In warfare it is critical to keep your balance. An attack may cause you to fall (as with those who were deceived and followed the false christ) but it may also cause you to overreact, over compensate. It seems today everyone is concerned with religious extremists and no one is concerned with secularism. Either way you are not balanced. The Lord said “I will build my house and the gates of hades will not prevail against it”. If you are standing with the Lord building the house then you should be experiencing the attacks of the gates of hell. Being someplace where there is no attack is a sign that you are not with the Lord building His house. When I played football I was told to “fight the pressure”. If the lineman is trying to push you one way that is where you don’t want to go. On the one hand we have Jim Jones telling us the time is near and we need to follow him. That is grape kool aid. On the other hand you have these denominational preachers saying “no one knows the day or the hour” and that we should not touch this topic, that is the cherry Kool aid. Either way you are being deceived. Every word of God is good for teaching, for reproof, for instruction in righteousness. Anyone who removes words from the Bible or says you should skip this chapter, that chapter and the book of Revelation will be accursed. So then how do we identify these false prophets. They come in the Lord’s name, they will be in the appearance of a believer, they are wolves in sheeps clothing. Only they are not satisfied being one of the many sheep, no they are a special sheep, they are “he”. This is so obvious you have to be very naive to fall for it. They have a special anointing, a special gift, they are “the apostle”, or who knows, they may claim to be Christ! One technique is to deny that they say that and yet everything they do say would lead you to believe that “wow, this is Christ!” That is the big tell. A second big component of their ministry is “the time is near”. This is very distinctive, they are saying that at the end of the age, the time is near, the messiah has returned secretly to lead people out of this evil world, and only those in this cult out of 7.5 billion people on earth know. Once again you have to be extremely naive. The gospel goes out to the whole world and then the end comes. We are not a “secret society”, those are of Satan. We are not of the world but the Lord has sent us out into the world to preach the gospel and to be His witness until He comes. There is no special pre rapture period where we then leave the world and are no longer responsible to be witnesses. But the ultimate tell is that you need to follow them? Why? We have the fellowship of the Apostles, this is our covenant, our contract with God. Jesus is living in our heart. Where in our contract does it ever say that we also will need to follow some man at the end of the age. Rather it doesn’t say that, it says that is a deception from the enemy. Now many will think, thank God I’m not in a cult like Jim Jones. OK, but do you follow a man? Can you read the Bible for yourself or do you need some Bible teacher to tell you what it says? How did the Lord put it, oh yea, “depart from me workers of iniquity, I never knew you”. Do you know the Lord, do you know His word, can you recognize His voice, or do you need someone else to tell you what God is saying? If you don’t have that relationship everything else is not important, you will never deceive the Lord at His coming and the door will be shut in your face.

Wars and uprisings

9 When you hear of wars and uprisings, do not be frightened. These things must happen first, but the end will not come right away.”

Here is another distinction between Luke, and Matthew and Mark. In Luke it is “wars and tumults” and in the other two gospels it is wars and rumors of war. We now have “police actions” where we don’t consider that it rises to the level of a war. Panama Canal was not a war, it was a tumult. Falkland Islands was not a war, it was a tumult. The Gulf war is a war, and police actions are tumults. This will be the situation prior to the tribulation and the first rapture.

10 Then he said to them: “Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom.

World War I, World War II, and the two Gulf wars are examples. But if we consider the whole church age you can include many other wars: Vietnam, Korea, Napoleonic, etc.

Earthquakes, Famines and Pestilences

11 There will be great earthquakes, famines and pestilences in various places,

Krakatoa, Japan’s Tsunami, Indonesia Tsunami, and various pestilences like Black plague and Spanish flu.

Fearful Events

The terrorist attacks are fearful events. Munich Olympics and taking the Israeli team hostage was a fearful event. 9/11 was a fearful event. This bombing in Afghanistan was a fearful event. The mortgage meltdown was a fearful event. Chernobyl was a fearful event.

Great signs from heaven

The Revelation 12 sign on September 23, 2017 was a great sign from heaven. There have been a whole host of lunar eclipses and solar eclipses which are very prophetic, within this blog you can see links to videos that go into great detail on the significance of each one. The lord describes these things as though there would be lots of them, kind of like a bowl of M and M’s, but then at the very end you will have great signs from heaven. The sense I get is don’t get all bent out of shape over a war or a famine or a pestilence or an earthquake, or even from a fearful event. All of these things will happen, there will be many of them, and they don’t really tell you that the day of the Lord is at hand. However, at the very end you will get great signs from heaven, that is the key sign. The Revelation sign is a great sign, the last time something similar to this happened was six thousand years ago depicting that the seed of the woman would crush the serpent’s head. This sign will not appear again for several thousand years. It is a great sign. You have the woman (Virgo) crowned with 12 stars, clothed with the sun and the moon is at her feet. In her belly you have Jupiter for 9 months and then comes out the birth canal. This sign occurred at the feast of trumpets in 2017.

The feasts are prophetic, Paul in Colossians said that the feasts were a shadow of things to come. Passover was fulfilled when Jesus was crucified. The feast of firstfruits was fulfilled at His resurrection. The feast of unleavened bread was fulfilled indicating the church age. The feast of Shavuot was fulfilled at His ascension. The feast of Pentecost (feast of new wine) was fulfilled in Acts depicting the new testament ministry as the new wine, the church as the new wine skins and everyone hearing the great things of God in their own tongue as the gospel that is preached to the whole world. The next major feast is the feast of Trumpets which announces the coming of the King. It is ten days before the feast of Atonement where we are all judged to see whose name is written in the book of life. These ten days signify ten years known as “Jacob’s trouble”. This September 23rd, in the evening, is the fourth anniversary of the Revelation 12 sign and many believe this will be when the tribulation begins.

So then it is very important to know what these heavenly signs are that have been prophesied and to dive deeper into a fuller understanding of what these mean. Most of the intense watchmen posting on the internet concerning the day of the Lord approaching began with this Revelation 12 sign. It is the nail on which many of these prophecies of the Lord’s coming hang.

If you look at all these events: wars, uprisings, earthquakes, famines, pestilences, fearful events and great signs from heaven it seems every time we had one we had some false Christ claiming the day was near and to follow him into some cult. Think about Haley's comet, or Krakatoa.

James Nichols Thom claimed to be Christ in an uprising against paying taxes. The Black death was interpreted by many to be a sign of the end of the world. Likewise with the Bubonic plague and the great fire of London.

So if you look at this it seems the Lord is warning against using these events to predict the end of the age and to avoid the false prophets who claim to be Christ and that you should follow them.

If you think about it all these kooks are the reason no one wants to touch this topic. So there are two different approaches Satan can take, first he can ridicule, mock and slander those who explore these prophecies. If that doesn't work he can push those who are pursuing them to go off the deep end. We are supposed to thread the eye of the needle, being a doomsday cult sitting on your rooftop is unbalanced, but so is taking the attitude that "no one knows the day or the hour" so don't even touch these verses.

But, Before all this -- The Church Age -- The Times of the Gentiles

12 “But before all this, they will seize you and persecute you. They will hand you over to synagogues and put you in prison, and you will be brought before kings and governors, and all on account of my name. 13 And so you will bear testimony to me. 14 But make up your mind not to worry beforehand how you will defend yourselves. 15 For I will give you words and wisdom that none of your adversaries will be able to resist or contradict. 16 You will be betrayed even by parents, brothers and sisters, relatives and friends, and they will put some of you to death. 17 Everyone will hate you because of me. 18 But not a hair of your head will perish. 19 Stand firm, and you will win life.

The Lord’s response is divided into three sections. The first section talks about how we need to be careful we are not deceived. We are now coming to the second section which is referring to the apostles and everything we saw happen in the Acts of the Apostles. The rapture is divided into two groups, the first to rise are the dead in Christ. So the Lord is now giving us a vision of the “dead in Christ”. They were persecuted, especially by religious leaders, put in prison, and in their trials they will give testimony, they will be the Lord’s witnesses. Everyone will hate them because of the Lord.

20 “When you see Jerusalem being surrounded by armies, you will know that its desolation is near. 21 Then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains, let those in the city get out, and let those in the country not enter the city. 22 For this is the time of punishment in fulfillment of all that has been written. 23 How dreadful it will be in those days for pregnant women and nursing mothers! There will be great distress in the land and wrath against this people. 24 They will fall by the sword and will be taken as prisoners to all the nations. Jerusalem will be trampled on by the Gentiles until the times of the Gentiles are fulfilled.

We might be tempted to think this is talking about the Day of the Lord but the section ends with “until the times of the Gentiles are fulfilled”. But there is a very nice symmetry here, what we saw at the beginning of the age we will see again at the end of the age. This also tells us that the book of Acts is not simply historical but also prophetic. What has been will be.

Signs in the Sun, moon and Stars

25 “There will be signs in the sun, moon and stars.

This is where the third section begins, this is about the end of the age and the signs. These signs begin with signs in the sun, moon and stars. He is not referring to Haley’s comet, or a supernova, simply signs. When you drive down the road you see signs that tell you how far away your destination is. This is what we are seeing. In this blog I provide links to those who go through all the lunar eclipses, solar eclipses and signs in the stars pointing to the Day of the Lord. It seems similar to the “great signs in the heavens” used by false Christs to get followers. The difference between the two is that these signs are prophesied of in both the Old and New Testament. Haley’s comet and the supernova that were both used by these false Christs were also prophesied of in this chapter that they would be used by false Christs. Is it confusing? Not really, the simple solution is to read the word of God, a more sure word of prophesy, that has been confirmed, and that is a light to our path.

Climate Change

On the earth, nations will be in anguish and perplexity at the roaring and tossing of the sea.

What a great prophecy. If you were going to boil down Climate Change to the heart of the issue what do you get? You would think it would be about polar bears, or melting ice. But let’s be real, the nations are not in perplexity about melting ice or polar bears. This term perplexity indicates this big debate we have had for several decades over the science of Climate change and more importantly what if anything we should do about it. The one thing that is spurring us to action is the roaring and tossing of the sea. Increased hurricane activity, bigger hurricanes, more powerful hurricanes and more frequent hurricanes. Not only so but we have been repeatedly told that sea level is rising and how catastrophic that will be. It is strange that some of the biggest proponents of climate change own beach front property. Barack Obama has a $40 million dollar mansion on Martha’s Vineyard. It is almost as though they use the threat of Climate change to drive down the price of the property they want to buy. Still it is undeniable that the nations are in anguish and perplexity over Climate change. This is a sign that the Day of the Lord is upon us.

The Heavenly Bodies will be shaken

26 People will faint from terror, apprehensive of what is coming on the world, for the heavenly bodies will be shaken.

There are two ways to look at this word, you can see it as referring to a meteor shower, or a supernova, or some other astronomical sign. In which case it would be a repeat of signs in the sun, moon and stars. Or you can see it as a repeat of great signs in the heavens. Another way to look at this verse is that every nation has angels, the shaking of the heavenly power structure is reflected and expressed on earth when you see the shaking of the earthly governments. Both of these are Biblically valid interpretations. For example, what happened in Afghanistan is the shaking of the power structure of the various nations. Cuomo resigning and Newsom being recalled is a shaking of the heavens. Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell have also caused the heavenly bodies to be shaken. The audit is causing the heavenly bodies to be shaken. All of these events are a fulfillment of this word and the Old Testament prophets go into great detail about these as well as other words from the Lord and the apostles. Many people are “fainting from terror” and are extremely apprehensive about what is taking place and what is coming. On the other hand I believe that what is coming is a meteor shower that will truly shake the heavenly bodies. Satan and the fallen angels will be cast to earth, literally. When that happens the Great Babylon will be burned with fire, stripped naked and devoured by the Beast, the united nations. I give links to about two hours of messages that show from the Bible that the “Great Babylon” refers to the US. There are other links that show that this meteor shower is approaching the earth and that all the leaders of the world know about it. The reason they are acting so weird is that they are fainting from terror and apprehensive about what is coming on the Earth.

Look Up! Your Redemption draws near

27 At that time they will see the Son of Man coming in a cloud with power and great glory. 28 When these things begin to take place, stand up and lift up your heads, because your redemption is drawing near.”

At that time refers to the end of the tribulation. The entire seven year period is referred to as “the day of the Lord” and it concludes with the whole world seeing the Son of Man coming in a cloud with power and great glory. However, when these things “begin to take place” believers should “stand up”. We need to take a stand, we need to stand up and proclaim that the Day of the Lord is at hand. We also need to lift up your heads. For two thousand years Christians did not look at the stars, we were warned about astrology, a form of divination. Astrology is witchcraft, it is sinful, and it is rebellion against God. We have a sure word of prophecy in the Bible, to go to others to divine the future is an insult to the Lord. However, at the end of the age there are signs in the heavens given to us by God. The prophecies mention them and we need to lift up our heads. Our redemption is drawing near both figuratively and literally. Right now I have posted links to bizarre sightings in the heavens of “two suns”. These sightings have taken place all over the world: they showed up on China’s news, Russia, India, the Middle East and the US. We have special satellites that view the sun and they have picked up very clear images of these objects. They are approaching the earth and “our redemption”, the redemption of our bodies, what we call the rapture, will take place at the same time a meteor shower from the tail of this object will be cast to earth. As best we can tell it will be at exactly the four year anniversary of the Revelation 12 sign (evening of September 23, 2021). Yes, it is coming “with great power” and there is nothing that the world can do about it. This object is so great in size that we are completely powerless to do anything about it. However, NASA and perhaps other nations have been working to “cloak” it in clouds and with other technology so that it does not send the earth into a panic and hysteria. We know that they know because of “predictive programming” things that have been encoded into the movies and TV. We know that they are in terror because of the panic they are expressing with this vaccine mandate. They are terrified that this event could knock us back to the stone age, not so bad for farmers, but terrifying to politicians.

The Georgia guidestone's 1st commandment is to bring human population down from 7.5 billion to 500 million. I don't think this means we have 500 million Nephelim, rather I think it would be something like a ratio of 10:1, so maybe there are 50 million of them worldwide and they want about 10 humans as slaves for each Nephelim. But 50-75 million would be about 1% of human population, so that would indicate that right now they are about 1%, maybe a little less.

Fig Tree Parable

29 He told them this parable: “Look at the fig tree and all the trees.

Many people ignore the “all the trees” portion of this prophecy. Israel was not the only nation that was reformed after WWI. All of those nations are depicted by national trees whether we are talking about Jordan, Syria, Lebanon, Iran, Egypt, Turkey, Iraq and Saudi Arabia. This parable is all about the Middle East and of course Israel in 1948 being reformed as a nation.

30 When they sprout leaves, you can see for yourselves and know that summer is near. 31 Even so, when you see these things happening, you know that the kingdom of God is near.

This prophecy is quite amazing, when you see this happen you know that the Day of the Lord is near, but in the analogy He calls it “summer”. Two big dates in Israel’s history, May 14, 1948 when the UN in an hour made them a new nation, these dry bones can live, it is considered one of the most amazing prophecies ever. The second big date is when Israel retook Jerusalem in the six day war. The prophecies in Daniel are all about Jerusalem. However, if we look at this chapter the age of the Gentiles begins when the temple is destroyed and they are able to trample it. The age will end when the Temple is rebuilt.

32 “Truly I tell you, this generation will certainly not pass away until all these things have happened. 33 Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will never pass away.

Some argue that “this generation” refers to the generation that was listening to Him at the time, others argue that “this generation” refers to the generation when Israel was reformed which puts a 70-80 year time frame on the completion of all things. I am going to argue that it is both. In this chapter the Lord spoke a word to those who were there that the Temple would be destroyed, that they would be arrested and give testimony before kings, etc. All of that was fulfilled. He also gave a prophecy concerning Israel being reformed (and all the trees) and that also has been fulfilled along with all these other prophecies about wars, climate change, the powers of heaven being shaken, and the approach of our redemption being something we can see if we look up.

Pray that you may be able to escape and to stand before the Son of Man

34 “Be careful, or your hearts will be weighed down with carousing, drunkenness and the anxieties of life, and that day will close on you suddenly like a trap. 35 For it will come on all those who live on the face of the whole earth. 36 Be always on the watch, and pray that you may be able to escape all that is about to happen, and that you may be able to stand before the Son of Man.”

This is the key point. You don’t need to pray that you will know all the eschatology or that you will know all the prophecies or even that you will see the day approaching. What you need to pray for is that you may be able to escape and that you may be able to stand before the Son of Man. Those are the two most important things. Will He say “well done thou good and faithful servant”?

Ezekiel 21:16-24 US democracy is the antithesis of the rule by the Antichrist

16 Go thee one way or other, either on the right hand, or on the left, whithersoever thy face is set.

There are a number of ways this dispute over election fraud can be resolved. I think they erroneously thought that if they could just get to December 14th they could win. The state legislatures can decide to not certify the votes and appoint different electors and even then the Congress can also bypass the election and vote by state. But what we have seen is a slow motion move towards full discovery, and as we move in this direction the lies and sins of the corrupt government and oligarchs are being exposed. CNN’s ratings are down 90%, only 25% of Americans feel they can trust CNN. This is huge, you can’t expose this sin if no one believes it, you have to wake people up first.

17 I will also smite mine hands together, and I will cause my fury to rest: I the Lord have said it.

But what did they choose? To create a false flag event, shoot Ashli dead, blame grandmothers and grandfathers for murder, throw people into prison without a trial for trespassing, and on and on. So the Lord says that He also will respond in kind. The Lord’s fury will strike like a fist and the enemy will be knocked out cold.

18 The word of the Lord came unto me again, saying, 19 Also, thou son of man, appoint thee two ways, that the sword of the king of Babylon may come: both twain shall come forth out of one land: and choose thou a place, choose it at the head of the way to the city. 20 Appoint a way, that the sword may come to Rabbath of the Ammonites, and to Judah in Jerusalem the defenced.

There are two main lines in these legal proceedings. Giuliani is very specific with the Presidential election in the US and having that outcome reversed. That is the path to Judah in Jerusalem the defensed. Sydney Powell is focused on a much bigger corruption of China and Venezuela being involved in robbing elections worldwide, we see this with Mike Lindell and his cyber symposium. The outcome of her case will have widespread implications and effects on many elected officials. Everyone understands that Giuliani’s approach must be first and foremost because the clock is running on that one. We are seeing this in Arizona and Georgia will follow after that with forensic audits.

21 For the king of Babylon stood at the parting of the way, at the head of the two ways, to use divination: he made his arrows bright, he consulted with images, he looked in the liver. 22 At his right hand was the divination for Jerusalem, to appoint captains, to open the mouth in the slaughter, to lift up the voice with shouting, to appoint battering rams against the gates, to cast a mount, and to build a fort. 23 And it shall be unto them as a false divination in their sight, to them that have sworn oaths: but he will call to remembrance the iniquity, that they may be taken.

OK, great picture, probably impossible to understand were it not being played out in front of our eyes. The mainstream media is claiming that all allegations of election fraud are false and misleading. Every single post that you see on Youtube includes a little message from Youtube that Reuters has already called the election for Biden. For the mainstream media this is a “false divination”. I was at the rally in Harrisburg and a few people came by to yell that the election was over. They have “sworn oaths”. It is very funny, they think that since CNN and Reuters have called it that that is it. However, if they are wrong and we just ignore them then CNN and Reuters have destroyed their credibility. These legal cases are like battering rams. The day before thanksgiving there was a hearing in Gettysburg that smashed down the door and convinced many that there is evidence of voter fraud. Sydney Powell and Lin Wood have cast a mound and built a fort in Georgia. About 150 million people have watched Mike Lindell’s movie “Absolute Proof” from start to finish. This is not over. The audit in Maricopa county has already submitted their final report, when that is made public it could smash the gate wide open. Evidence of fraud in Wisconsin and Pennsylvania is overwhelming. A year later this claim of election fraud has only grown with more and more Americans believing it so that now the majority of Americans (56%) think the election was fraudulent.

24 Therefore thus saith the Lord God; Because ye have made your iniquity to be remembered, in that your transgressions are discovered, so that in all your doings your sins do appear; because, I say, that ye are come to remembrance, ye shall be taken with the hand.

Every contact leaves a trace. When you steal an election there are a lot of people involved, a lot of witnesses. Ballots are evidence. Phony and illegal laws are evidence. Computers and servers are evidence. Statistical anomalies are evidence. They have made their iniquity to be remembered, we have discovered their transgressions. We have discovered dead people voting and people using PO boxes as home addresses. We have discovered ballot harvesting, people fixing ballots and people running through ballots multiple times. We have discovered missing USB drives and votes for Trump that were never counted. We have discovered phony addresses on ballots and hundreds of thousands of ballots that should never have been counted. Every time they say something we then pull up a youtube video of them saying the exact opposite only a few months or years ago.

People ask why is the US election so important? This is democracy versus tyranny, it is rule by men's conscience or by a tyrant, that is what this is all about. What happened in Afghanistan is a consequence of this election. Iran and Israel starting to fight again is a consequence of this election. Russia invading Ukraine is a consequence of this stolen election. If the US falls, Taiwan falls and so does democracy in Asia. Israel will also be attacked and with it democracy in the Middle East. Canada already appears to have fallen. Perhaps Australia and New Zealand can continue in some kind of irrelevant way. We know that the end of the Age sees a worldwide tryannical leader called "the AntiChrist" that name indicates the photographic negative of the Lord. The US constitution and democracy is the antithesis of the rule by the Antichrist. We saw this battle played out earlier in history and is commemorated with the festival of Hannukah, the feast of rededication. The New Testament ministry is likened to this same battle and this feast which is "8 days of light".

Ezekiel 21:25-31 Overturn, overturn, overturn it

25 And thou, profane wicked prince of Israel, whose day is come, when iniquity shall have an end, 26 Thus saith the Lord God; Remove the diadem, and take off the crown: this shall not be the same: exalt him that is low, and abase him that is high.

Who is this wicked prince of Israel whose day has come when iniquity shall have an end? It seems it is the Biden crime family that has been involved in selling out this country for 47 years. The Biden family is clearly profane. It appears that they worked with Clinton, Kerry and Obama as well. The elites, representing the richest 1% appear to be working on a plan to have one world government, something they refer to as "the great reset". The only real hinderance to this plan is the US, if they can bankrupt the US there would be nothing to stand in the way. What really gives them power is "one world currency". If you control the currency you can tax the world by simply printing more money. However, you have to exercise great control to make sure they don't barter or use their own currency. Multinational corporations like this because wages are low and the market is big, 8 billion people in the world compared to 350 million in the US. This word appears to demonstrate that it is God's will that the deplorables would take the crown from the elites.

27 I will overturn, overturn, overturn, it: and it shall be no more, until he come whose right it is; and I will give it him.

Three times He will overturn it. Overturn the Presidential election, overturn election of many legislators, and overturn the attempt by the Democrats to pack the Supreme court. This will be the outcome of Giuliani’s and Lin Wood’s legal cases. We can see all that Biden has tried to ram through. If we can stop this then it will be a great hinderance to this one world government run by the Antichrist.

28 And thou, son of man, prophesy and say, Thus saith the Lord God concerning the Ammonites, and concerning their reproach; even say thou, The sword, the sword is drawn: for the slaughter it is furbished, to consume because of the glittering: 29 Whiles they see vanity unto thee, whiles they divine a lie unto thee, to bring thee upon the necks of them that are slain, of the wicked, whose day is come, when their iniquity shall have an end.

This will be the outcome of the investigation into election fraud and into pedophilia and human trafficking. They will be slain and their iniquity will come to an end. What is happening in Maricopa county is very exciting, they have uncovered significant fraud opening the way for Georgia, Wisconsin, Michigan and Pennsylvania to also do audits. Who knows, every state might want to do a thorough investigation. A glittering sword could refer to the US military but I think it is more likely that it refers to the very large planet pulling a long train of debris behind it that is traveling through our solar system. As I understand we will have a meteor shower in the US from the tail of this thing and it will be catastrophic like the sword of God coming down on the US.

30 Shall I cause it to return into his sheath? I will judge thee in the place where thou wast created, in the land of thy nativity. 31 And I will pour out mine indignation upon thee, I will blow against thee in the fire of my wrath, and deliver thee into the hand of brutish men, and skilful to destroy.

So this is still not the end. These BLM protests were the result of people being manipulated by those who wanted to bring in a socialist regime with George Soros being the chief architect of this. The idea is to undermine the social order and the middle class so that a tyrannical government could take power. When these “brutish” people realize they have been “played” they will turn on them. It will be like the hyena’s turning on Scar in the Lion king.

32 Thou shalt be for fuel to the fire; thy blood shall be in the midst of the land; thou shalt be no more remembered: for I the Lord have spoken it.

So these ones who have been pulling down statues will make sure to wipe out any remembrance of those involved in this fraud. But this still leaves us with a big, huge question! He said that His sword would cut off from thee the righteous and the wicked. Earlier He said essentially that "as you have done it will be done to you".

31 And I will pour out mine indignation upon thee, I will blow against thee in the fire of my wrath, and deliver thee into the hand of brutish men, and skillful to destroy.

Once the righteous are taken in the rapture all those left on earth will be delivered into the hands of brutish men, and skillful to destroy. Already we are seeing this mark of the beast as a chip that is injected into you with the vaccine. It is “skillful” and it will give brutish men the power to destroy. So this chapter presents three groups of people to us. The righteous who are taken in the rapture. The wicked who will be slain with this sword of the law. Then there is the third group, they were not involved with the wickedness nor did they stand with the righteous. They will be left behind when the “Hyenas” are able to take power and destroy everything.

More references concerning the 2nd Passover

1Corinthians 10:13 but will with the temptation make also the way of escape, that ye may be able to endure it.

The Red Sea was a way of escape. Noah’s ark was a way of escape from the flood. The rapture is a way of escape from the trial that is about to come on the whole earth.

1Corinthians 11:26 For whenever you eat this bread and drink this cup, you proclaim the Lord’s death until he comes.

Until He comes refers to the Lord’s second coming. We proclaim His death refers to the preaching of righteousness, like Noah. Until He comes also refers to the Lord who has gone on a long journey. Also, eating the bread and drinking the wine proclaims His death is similar to the passover feast where they ate the Passover while the blood on the door proclaimed His death. One thing has really struck me is that God is meticulous when it comes to time, and to the calendar and to the feast days. Paul told us those feast days were a shadow of things to come, so they are prophetic. Yet how come the God who is the same today and yesterday isn’t like that in the New Testament? The only feast we are given to keep is the Lord’s table which is the New Covenant version of the Passover, the only difference is we do this “until He comes” back from a long journey! That refers to the second Passover which is to be kept by those who were unclean due to a dead body or who were on a long journey during the first passover. We were dead in our offences and sins, so that refers to everyone in the New Testament, meanwhile Jesus was on a long journey.

1Corinthians 15: 12 But if it is preached that Christ has been raised from the dead, how can some of you say that there is no resurrection of the dead?

The rapture is equivalent to the resurrection of the dead. Once again, this points to the feast of Passover, or better yet the 2nd Passover and the festival of firstfruits. If the Lord’s return at the end of the age is the harvest then shouldn’t it begin with the first fruits?

1Corinthians 15: 23 But each in turn: Christ, the firstfruits; then, when he comes, those who belong to him.

Luke 12:36 But of that day and hour knoweth no one, not even the angels of heaven, neither the Son, but the Father only. 37 And as were the days of Noah, so shall be the coming of the Son of man. 38 For as in those days which were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noah entered into the ark, 39 and they knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall be the coming of the Son of man. 40 Then shall two men be in the field; one is taken, and one is left: 41 two women shall be grinding at the mill; one is taken, and one is left. 42 Watch therefore: for ye know not on what day your Lord cometh.

Couple of big things here. No one knows the day or hour and then likens that to Noah who is completely focused on this day, is preparing for this day, can see when the ark is ready, can see when the animals are on board, and then last of all he enters the ark and the door is closed. Not knowing the day or the hour does not mean we are oblivious and ignore the Lord’s coming and the day drawing near. Second thing that is quite interesting is that people are working in the field. They wouldn’t be doing that on a holy day so it seems it isn’t on a holy day. However it seems stunning to me that such an important day would not be marked by a Holy day. In fact there is one Holy day where people would be working, that is the second Passover, this is only kept by those who missed the first one.

Luke 12: 39 But understand this: If the owner of the house had known at what hour the thief was coming, he would not have let his house be broken into. 40 You also must be ready, because the Son of Man will come at an hour when you do not expect him.”

This verse refers to the Passover. The avenging angel was coming and was going to steal the first born of man and beast from every house. In the first Passover the Lord stood over the houses with the blood and guarded them from the avenging angel. But here it is a little different, in this case it is not the avenging angel who is coming but the Son of Man. Once again this is the Lord returning from His long journey, that again refers to the second Passover. The word Passover is often thought of as being “to skip over” but in reality the root of the word is much closer to stand guard. In the first Passover God stood guard as we proclaimed the Lord’s blood and partook of Christ our Passover slain for us. In the Second passover it is our job to stand guard and make sure our house is not broken into as the Lord returns at an hour when you do not expect him. There was a man (Dana Coverstone) who had a dream that “big things were going to happen at Passover” and when nothing happened many were disappointed. This just shows how many people do not think about the 2nd Passover, it is an hour when you do not expect Him.

Matthew 27:51 At that moment the curtain of the temple was torn in two from top to bottom. The earth shook, the rocks split 52 and the tombs broke open. The bodies of many holy people who had died were raised to life.

At the time the first lamb was slain we had the resurrection of the holy people, this is a type of the rapture.

Another interesting point -- in the letter to the seven churches the Lord refers to His second coming in the last four letters. To Thyatira and Sardis he says some will be taken, not all and certainly not the majority (to Sardis He says you have a few). Philadelphia is taken as the entire church. So I am wondering, perhaps at the time of the first rapture the Lord’s people are in one of three different church situations (Thyatira, Sardis and Philadelphia), but after the rapture all those who are left are in only one church situation: Laodicea. To Laodicea He says He is outside knocking, He has left the church. It could be that “the light” in the church refers to all those who are taken in the first rapture, once they are taken the Lord is now outside.

Sorcery -- is from the same Greek word that we get Pharmacy

There is a word in Scripture that brings to light the potions created by witches or sorcerers. This aspect of sorcery has great application to living our lives as Christians. It is seen in the Geek word, pharmakeia, (5) which is where we get the word, pharmaceuticals, or drugs. References to this word are found in the following verses:

And the rest of the men which were not killed by these plagues yet repented not of the works of their hands, that they should not worship devils, and idols of gold, and silver, and brass, and stone, and of wood: which neither can see, nor hear, nor walk: Neither repented they of their murders, nor of their sorceries, nor of their fornication, nor of their thefts. (Revelation 9:20-21)

And the light of a candle shall shine no more at all in thee; and the voice of the bridegroom and of the bride shall be heard no more at all in thee: for thy merchants were the great men of the earth; for by thy sorceries were all nations deceived. (Revelation 18:23)

But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death. (Revelation 21:8)

Blessed are they that do his commandments that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city. For without are dogs, and sorcerers, and whoremongers, and murderers, and idolaters, and whosoever loveth and maketh a lie. (Revelation 22:14-15)

There is an argument that vaccines have transformed our health but I think we should examine that. The biggest health risk today is obesity and yet it is the most profitable health condition for the drug companies. We have companies that help you lose weight, we have gyms that have proliferated in the last seventy years, and we have drugs to treat all the conditions like diabetes and heart disease. Watch a TV show from the 50s like Leave it to Beaver or Father Knows Best, or watch an old Jimmie Stewart movie and you are shocked at how thin everyone is. We had a significant change in our diet that was promoted as healthy by the FDA and next thing you know we have an epidemic in obesity and instead of going after the root cause they simply treat the symptoms.

A few years ago I had an ulcer and the doctor wanted to prescribe medicine. I asked how long will I need to take this and he said forever. I thought forget that, so I figured if I just gave my stomach a rest it could heal itself. So I would try to fast during the weekend. If the acid built up in my stomach I would just drink a lot of water to dilute it and wash it out of my stomach. After about two weeks the ulcer never bothered me again. I didn't just make this up, I read a book by Gandhi where he said that fasting like this could cure an ulcer. But if you prescribe this method no one makes any money. If you prescribe drugs that people take for the rest of their life then the drug company can make a very nice profit off of you. I am in my sixties and when I go to the doctor they always seem so surprised that I am not taking any medicine at all. It seems to me that a lot of people must be taking all kinds of medication. Is it healthy? Does it really improve health or is it simply profitable?

Children get shots for "childhood diseases". These are actually diseases that reside in flocks and herds of animals. Because we have cows, horses, pigs, sheep, and chickens we have these diseases. If you are exposed to them as a kid they don't harm you, but if you get them as an adult for the first time they can kill you. This is what happened to the native Americans. It is fair to look at the benefit of these shots but that should also be weighed against the cost. There is a financial cost, and there is a health cost as a small percentage of the population will have an adverse effect to the vaccine. Now if the vaccine only needs to be taken once and it has been proven to be effective it is very likely that the benefit will outweigh the cost. But suppose you have to get a booster shot after ten years. Now you have doubled the risk of an adverse effect, and yet the benefit may still outweigh the cost. But suppose as in the case of the Covid vaccine you need a booster every six months? Not only so but we cannot say that the vaccine has been proven safe because we have no idea of the long term consequences over 5-10 years.

Baal is being worshipped, they call evil good and good evil

I don't care if you like Trump or you don't like Trump. I don't disagree that Trump is filled with faults nor do I have an issue with those who think he was a great president. Either way you are in a different realm than I am in.

We are in an age where Baal is being worshipped, where evil is good and good is evil. This is not because of Trump, you can't blame him for the world worshipping Baal nor can you blame him for not bringing in a revival where the whole world turns to the Lord. So as far as I am concerned he is simply another man's servant. It is not for me to judge another man's servant.

My focus is on speaking the truth that might bring people to repentance and turning to the Lord Jesus. There is no salvation in any name other than Jesus.

We are now in free fall. People were clueless when they voted in Biden. People were clueless when they ignored the election fraud and the lies and the censorship and the corruption of leaders like Fauci and a Bioweapon. They were clueless when they went along with shutting down the economy in order to bankrupt the middle class. They directed the entire economy to the tech giants like Amazon.com and they took it away from the backbone of democracy, and yet the whole world went along with this? Seriously, you can go into a big box store like Costco but a little 5 and dime store cannot have 3 people inside? They go along with all the churches being shut down but the Casinos staying open? Fine, everyone going along with this is nothing but a blatant liar and their hypocrisy is on display for all to see.

Well there are consequences for choosing a murderer over the Lord of Life. Russia invading Ukraine is one consequence. More people coming across our border each month than went into Europe on D day is another consequence. Worldwide inflation is a third consequence. Embarrassing defeat in Afghanistan is yet another consequence. But know this, things do not get better, they get worse. Russia does not stop with Ukraine, Iran and Russia and a whole bunch of Islamic nations will attack Israel, China will attack Taiwan and the global elites will be happy.

They will be happy as people die and world population approaches their goal of 500 million.

They will be happy with the destruction that will require a rebuilding and a borrowing that will make them even more powerful.

They will be happy when the whole world begs them for a powerful world leader that will bring peace and security and so the world will beg for the AntiChrist.

Every action has a consequence, and we are now in an age of consequences.

Many believers will wake up to this when they are faced with choosing between worshipping the beast or having their head cut off. Consequences.

Ezekiel 34 -- Shepherds who only take care of themselves

34 The word of the Lord came to me: 2 “Son of man, prophesy against the shepherds of Israel; prophesy and say to them: ‘This is what the Sovereign Lord says: Woe to you shepherds of Israel who only take care of yourselves! Should not shepherds take care of the flock?

Joe Biden pulled our military out of our air base in Afghanistan before evacuating the Americans. Not only so but they left billions of dollars worth of military equipment in the hands of the Taliban. They gave the Taliban a list of every American in Afghanistan with their location and description. It is a kill list. With the Ukraine Biden offered Zelensky a ride out of Ukraine and he said he didn't need a ride, he needed guns to fight. That is what a shepherd is supposed to say.

3 You eat the curds, clothe yourselves with the wool and slaughter the choice animals, but you do not take care of the flock.

Vladimir Putin is reported to have $200 billion. Xi Jinping is reputed to be worth $1.5 billion. The NY Times ran an article calling the Chinese Parliament a “billionaires club”.

4 You have not strengthened the weak or healed the sick or bound up the injured. You have not brought back the strays or searched for the lost. You have ruled them harshly and brutally.

The Black Lives Matter protests are all about how harshly and brutally the leaders have ruled. In Belarus they are protesting their “president” and in Lebanon they are protesting their rulers. Hong Kong is protesting their rulers and the Stop the Steal rallies are protesting what is happening in the US.

5 So they were scattered because there was no shepherd, and when they were scattered they became food for all the wild animals.

The gang violence, the warehouse explosion in Beirut, the deaths from Chernobyl, the people are like sheep being scattered because there is no shepherd. Seeing thousands of people trying to get into the airport in Kabul, handing babies over the barbed wire, they have become prey for all these wild animals.

6 My sheep wandered over all the mountains and on every high hill. They were scattered over the whole earth, and no one searched or looked for them.

New Jersey wants to require micro ID on the bullets. That is a fantastic idea since the person who bought the ammunition used in a crime would be identified. What we need is a computerized network that the police can access to match a gun with a bullet and shell casing. The manufacturer of the gun could have that, and they could have the registration of who bought the gun. The police send a warrant to the company and the in turn tell the police who owns the gun.

7 “‘Therefore, you shepherds, hear the word of the Lord: 8 As surely as I live, declares the Sovereign Lord, because my flock lacks a shepherd and so has been plundered and has become food for all the wild animals, and because my shepherds did not search for my flock but cared for themselves rather than for my flock, 9 therefore, you shepherds, hear the word of the Lord: 10 This is what the Sovereign Lord says: I am against the shepherds and will hold them accountable for my flock. I will remove them from tending the flock so that the shepherds can no longer feed themselves. I will rescue my flock from their mouths, and it will no longer be food for them.

This is what the defund the police movement is all about. If the police are not protecting and serving the public, then the public needs to stop paying for their services. The same is true of the politicians. Corruption is so prevalent that many governments fear rooting it out as it will root the entire government out. Consider Cuomo, the former governor of NY, it is now coming out that he intentionally had tens of thousands of elderly residents of NY put at risk during the covid pandemic. We need to be rescued from the "shepherds".

11 “‘For this is what the Sovereign Lord says: I myself will search for my sheep and look after them. 12 As a shepherd looks after his scattered flock when he is with them, so will I look after my sheep. I will rescue them from all the places where they were scattered on a day of clouds and darkness. 13 I will bring them out from the nations and gather them from the countries, and I will bring them into their own land. I will pasture them on the mountains of Israel, in the ravines and in all the settlements in the land. 14 I will tend them in a good pasture, and the mountain heights of Israel Will be their grazing land. There they will lie down in good grazing land, and there they will feed in a rich pasture on the mountains of Israel. 15 I myself will tend my sheep and have them lie down, declares the Sovereign Lord. 16 I will search for the lost and bring back the strays. I will bind up the injured and strengthen the weak, but the sleek and the strong I will destroy. I will shepherd the flock with justice.

This age is all about seeing that Jesus is Lord. Every other government is a failure, every other leader has sinned and fallen short of the glory of God. The end of this age will see an end to these corrupt governments, corrupt rulers, corrupt shepherds.

17 “‘As for you, my flock, this is what the Sovereign Lord says: I will judge between one sheep and another, and between rams and goats. 18 Is it not enough for you to feed on the good pasture? Must you also trample the rest of your pasture with your feet? Is it not enough for you to drink clear water? Must you also muddy the rest with your feet? 19 Must my flock feed on what you have trampled and drink what you have muddied with your feet?

This judgement will extend to all of us. These protests have included those who have rioted and looted. They destroy the shops of local businessmen. They are not simply protesting injustice, they are filled with envy and jealousy for their neighbor who is lifting themself out of the pit.

20 “‘Therefore this is what the Sovereign Lord says to them: See, I myself will judge between the fat sheep and the lean sheep. 21 Because you shove with flank and shoulder, butting all the weak sheep with your horns until you have driven them away, 22 I will save my flock, and they will no longer be plundered. I will judge between one sheep and another. 23 I will place over them one shepherd, my servant David, and he will tend them; he will tend them and be their shepherd. 24 I the Lord will be their God, and my servant David will be prince among them. I the Lord have spoken.

Bernie Madoff was a fat sheep who plundered the “weak sheep”. The gangs prey on the weaker sheep, extorting them. The mortgage meltdown where Obama declared the banks were too big to fail is an example of fat sheep bullying the the lean sheep. We need a shepherd with the courage of David to take on the Lion and the Bear.

25 “‘I will make a covenant of peace with them and rid the land of savage beasts so that they may live in the wilderness and sleep in the forests in safety. 26 I will make them and the places surrounding my hill a blessing. I will send down showers in season; there will be showers of blessing. 27 The trees will yield their fruit and the ground will yield its crops; the people will be secure in their land. They will know that I am the Lord, when I break the bars of their yoke and rescue them from the hands of those who enslaved them.

Slavery is alive and well all over the world. The prison system in the US is a form of slavery. People sell themselves as slaves because of indebtedness. The mortgage crisis was a way to put tens of millions of people into indebtedness and enslave them all over again. The $3.5 trillion stimulus packages are a great example of shepherds taking care of themselves and then leaving the lean sheep with the bill. All the suckers, the tax payers, will become slaves trying to pay off the debt of these "stimulus packages" which only enrich the elite.

28 They will no longer be plundered by the nations, nor will wild animals devour them. They will live in safety, and no one will make them afraid.

I saw a video about Venezuela, a place considered to be one of the most dangerous places in the world. That is a place where the gangs truly do plunder the people and devour the people. Everyone in the poor neighborhoods lives in fear.

29 I will provide for them a land renowned for its crops, and they will no longer be victims of famine in the land or bear the scorn of the nations.

Venezuela is very rich with oil. It is amazing that the country could be so poorly managed that a few people are extremely rich and the rest live in abject poverty terrified by the roving gangs. It provides a vision for what Detroit can become, and what Chicago can become after that.

30 Then they will know that I, the Lord their God, am with them and that they, the Israelites, are my people, declares the Sovereign Lord. 31 You are my sheep, the sheep of my pasture, and I am your God, declares the Sovereign Lord.’”

The end of the age is not the end of the world. The end of the age is the end of the rule of evil and corrupt rulers. It ushers in a new age where Jesus is Lord.

Matthew 24:35 Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away. 36 But of that day and hour knoweth no one, not even the angels of heaven, neither the Son, but the Father only.

1. Is he talking about the rapture or is he talking about heaven and earth passing away?

2. No one knows is not equal to no one can know or no one will ever know. There are other verses that contradict the idea that you can't know the day or the hour. Without a doubt you can see the day approaching and you can see your redemption drawing near.

There is another way to look at this as well. Many of the "watchmen" have latched onto Paul's word that the feasts are a shadow of things to come to look at all the holy days of the Jewish Bible. But think about that, July 4th, that is a day that everyone knows. Thanksgiving, Christmas, Easter, Labor day, etc. These are all days that everyone knows. He may have been saying it isn't one of the holy days, it's a day that no one knows (present tense, not in the future). Since the Feast of Trumpets we have gone through all the Holy days and festivals and we have learned about the calendars and all that is valuable. The process has been valuable but we have essentially eliminated all the "known days".

Matthew 25:1-12 What does it mean to fill your vessel with oil?

1 Then shall the kingdom of heaven be likened unto ten virgins, who took their lamps, and went forth to meet the bridegroom.

This refers to an ancient custom for weddings. The first step is the man decides who he wants to marry and goes to the father with the proposal. He then checks with his daughter to see if she is willing to marry this man. If she is the man pays a price for the daughter and they have a marriage contract, they are engaged. This is very similar to our experience. Each one of us had to accept the gospel ourselves, no one could force it upon us. Also, the Lord paid the price for us by giving His life and redeeming us from sin. Then the man has two years to go and prepare a house for them to live in and during that time the bride is to prepare the things she’ll need. She can use the money that her bridegroom paid for her. In the same way the Lord has given us His word, His spirit, the fellowship of the saints, and the church. Then the bridegroom will come back secretly and steal the bride. This just makes things much more exciting. He might come in the middle of the night, he might come when the father is at work. But once he steals her his friends begin blowing trumpets and announcing that the Bridegroom has come. This depicts the rapture of the saints at the end of this age. I think many of us are worried, are we ready? Remember, the Lord will be coming as the Bridegroom, He is going to be in a very good mood, and He is coming for all those He has redeemed. Every single one. The Bible doesn’t say that some are left out of the feast because He rejected them but because they were foolish and didn’t watch.

2 And five of them were foolish, and five were wise. 3 For the foolish, when they took their lamps, took no oil with them: 4 but the wise took oil in their vessels with their lamps.

So what should we be doing? Filling our vessels with oil. That means going into the Bible in prayer. For your lamp to be lit you need to be speaking and sharing with others. Think how great this type of wedding is. It is fun. It is exciting. It is a little rebellious. There was two years of anticipation. And it is a big deal for the entire community. If the man has spent two years building a house in the community you know they aren’t going somewhere else after they get married. The bride doesn’t have to give up all her friends and relatives to get married, she gets to stay in the community where she grew up. Today no one wants to go to a wedding where two years later you learn they got divorced. Also, This man’s friends and this woman’s friends will spend seven days celebrating the wedding. They all grew up together and they are expecting to live in the same community for the rest of their lives, so you want to make this an event you can remember for the next 50 years. This is a great event for everyone in this village. They didn’t force everyone to fly to Bermuda for the wedding, they have invested in the town, they have put down roots, and the celebration is about people, not beaches and resorts. If you go to one of these areas where a forest fire has just burned thru it is a scene of total destruction. But come back in six months and you will see little plants budding and flowering. That is such a hopeful sight, you are seeing restoration and renewal. That is what this wedding is, the budding and flowering of a plant that is putting down roots and renewing the community. Their marriage is not some narcissistic exercise of fleshly gratification, it is something the entire community can rejoice in.

5 Now while the bridegroom tarried, they all slumbered and slept.

There are two stories here about the rapture, one has ten people, the other two. Combined they are twelve, a complete number for eternity, and you see those who have died (fallen asleep) and those who are still alive at the Lord’s coming.

6 But at midnight there is a cry, Behold, the bridegroom! Come ye forth to meet him. 7 Then all those virgins arose, and trimmed their lamps. 8 And the foolish said unto the wise, Give us of your oil; for our lamps are going out. 9 But the wise answered, saying, Peradventure there will not be enough for us and you: go ye rather to them that sell, and buy for yourselves.

Wow, I love this. The virgins who had vessels filled with oil were still worried there might not be enough for them. I don’t believe anyone seeing the day approaching is not nervous. I remember times when there were big exams, big tests, sometimes I would have to stand in front of a thousand people or more to speak. There is that worry, did I do enough? I learned this attitude: “I have been preparing and I am going to lay it all down on the line, if it isn’t enough at least I know I gave it my all”.

10 And while they went away to buy, the bridegroom came; and they that were ready went in with him to the marriage feast: and the door was shut. 11 Afterward came also the other virgins, saying, Lord, Lord, open to us. 12 But he answered and said, Verily I say unto you, I know you not.

That is the crux of what it means to fill your vessel with oil. Do you know the Lord? If you know Him, if you spend time with Him everyday then you can be sure He knows you. If when He speaks you listen and obey, then surely He knows you. Jesus is the incarnated word, when you spend time in His word in prayer you are spending time with Him.

Some teach that the rapture is a false doctrine that teaches believers will not have to suffer tribulation.

No doubt there are many false doctrines, false teachers, false prophets and false Christ's. But that is not what the doctrine of the rapture teaches.

Man is afraid of suffering and going through hard trials believing that a God who loves us could never put us through suffering so they’ve come up with an escape route of their own using scripture in untruth.

This doctrine nullifies the great and precious promises of our escape

So then this prayer is pointless:

Be always on the watch, and pray that you may be able to escape all that is about to happen, and that you may be able to stand before the Son of Man.”

And apparently it doesn't matter if we ignore so great a salvation because no one is going to escape:

how shall we escape if we ignore so great a salvation? This salvation, which was first announced by the Lord, was confirmed to us by those who heard him.

And what difference does it make if we refuse to listen to the warnings from the Lord in heaven?

See to it that you do not refuse him who speaks. If they did not escape when they refused him who warned them on earth, how much less will we, if we turn away from him who warns us from heaven?

We have great and precious promises to escape the corruption in the world, yet you nullify them with your teaching.

Through these he has given us his very great and precious promises, so that through them you may participate in the divine nature, having escaped the corruption in the world caused by evil desires.

And so much for this promise

The Lord will rescue his servants; no one who takes refuge in him will be condemned.

Forget it Paul

What a wretched man I am! Who will rescue me from this body that is subject to death?

Yep, looks like Paul got it wrong again

and to wait for his Son from heaven, whom he raised from the dead—Jesus, who rescues us from the coming wrath.

So many promises nullified by this teaching

The Lord will rescue me from every evil attack and will bring me safely to his heavenly kingdom. To him be glory for ever and ever. Amen.

4 For if God did not spare angels when they sinned, but sent them to hell,[a] putting them in chains of darkness[b] to be held for judgment; 5 if he did not spare the ancient world when he brought the flood on its ungodly people, but protected Noah, a preacher of righteousness, and seven others; 6 if he condemned the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah by burning them to ashes, and made them an example of what is going to happen to the ungodly; 7 and if he rescued Lot, a righteous man, who was distressed by the depraved conduct of the lawless 8 (for that righteous man, living among them day after day, was tormented in his righteous soul by the lawless deeds he saw and heard)— 9 if this is so, then the Lord knows how to rescue the godly from trials and to hold the unrighteous for punishment on the day of judgment.
