There was the last day of January too, so what?
Exactly my point! There's a lot of "last day"s.

You just hate what Jesus had to say and prefer your personal version, its a common disease.
This is a very weird kind of snarky comment. You really think I hate what Jesus said, do you?

That is just a very stupid comment. How about leaving such stupidity out of this, ok?

If you are interested in what the Bible says, let's go. But don't even try to presume what I love or hate.

You've seen my posts. I include verses that support my pov. And no one even tries to refute them. So they go low and throw mud, sarcasm, or even stupid comments.

Whatever

Wrong again. It's all about context.

There was a LAST DAY of the Jewish Age.

When the King of kings returns to earth, there will be a LAST DAY for "everything as usual" on earth. Because the King will reign over the nations, and all believers will be in glorified bodies (supernatural).

Then there will be a LAST DAY of the Millennial Reign, when the present heaven and earth melt and there will be a new heaven and earth.

For the first "last day", being the last day of the Jewish Age, it's just before the age of grace. Yet, that exact day is a subject of discussion.

The last day before the Millennium is the last day of the Tribulation.

Do you really need verses for proof? Or are you not aware of these distinctions.

As for the 3rd example of a "last day", we have these:

2 Pet 3:12 - as you look forward to the day of God and speed its coming. That day will bring about the destruction of the heavens by fire, and the elements will melt in the heat.

Rev 21:1 - Then I saw “a new heaven and a new earth,” for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away, and there was no longer any sea.

The point is: "last day" depends on what timeframe is meant.
LOL Last day means last day just like first day means first day, but I never thought you would believe Jesus, too bad.

OK, I guess "context" doesn't mean "context" then.

I gave examples of several kinds of "last day". Apparently you disagree. So go ahead and explain how and why my examples from the Bible don't fit the discussion.

I see. Jesus refuted all of my posts, all of which have verses that support what I believe.

Hm. Got it.

How about just posting the context for what the other poster meant by "last day". I don't need all of 2 chapters. Just the immediate context, thank you.

Because Christ gave no qualifiers , the term is plain , the meaning obvious. This is why we travel from the plain and obvious to the more obscure.

LOL You have ignored the timing Jesus Christ gave for the resurrection. But that wanst enough ,you added in what e ver you found necessary to fit your scheme. Jesus is important to believers , what He said was and is always true.

I see. Jesus refuted all of my posts, all of which have verses that support what I believe.

Its your choice NOT to believe the resurrection is at the last day , contrary to Christ. But its never a good idea. Clear enough?

I did but will gladly do again.
Joh 6:38 For I came down from heaven, not to do mine own will, but the will of him that sent me.
Joh 6:39 And this is the Father's will which hath sent me, that of all which he hath given me I should lose nothing, but should raise it up again at the last day.
Joh 6:40 And this is the will of him that sent me, that every one which seeth the Son, and believeth on him, may have everlasting life: and I will raise him up at the last day.
Joh 6:41 The Jews then murmured at him, because he said, I am the bread which came down from heaven.
Joh 6:42 And they said, Is not this Jesus, the son of Joseph, whose father and mother we know? how is it then that he saith, I came down from heaven?
Joh 6:43 Jesus therefore answered and said unto them, Murmur not among yourselves.
Joh 6:44 No man can come to me, except the Father which hath sent me draw him: and I will raise him up at the last day.

oh 5:24 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life.
Joh 5:25 Verily, verily, I say unto you, The hour is coming, and now is, when the dead shall hear the voice of the Son of God: and they that hear shall live.
Joh 5:26 For as the Father hath life in himself; so hath he given to the Son to have life in himself;
Joh 5:27 And hath given him authority to execute judgment also, because he is the Son of man.
Joh 5:28 Marvel not at this: for the hour is coming, in the which all that are in the graves shall hear his voice,
Joh 5:29 And shall come forth; they that have done good, unto the resurrection of life; and they that have done evil, unto the resurrection of damnation.

Its your choice NOT to believe the resurrection is at the last day , contrary to Christ. But its never a good idea. Clear enough? As most futurists do , you place your interpretations of Scripture at par ,or in this specific above the Scripture itself , always a plan for disaster. But since you boast so often of your explanations I have an invitation .
Tell me why those hearing our Lord in John 6 should NOT have taken His word at face value.

Clearly 'all' in v 28 are personally defined by Christ as both the good and the evil. just as it is clear 5;24 is NOT speaking of bodily resurrection but spiritual.

.....at the same time you earnestly await the antichrist.. woah.

What a farce, your teachers have developed in you.

You tirelessly mis characterize me while mocking and scoffing at Jesus command to watch and be ready.

That is the last thing you are thinking. To you, it would be folly ,and silly, to wait for Jesus return at any moment.

Sad
This whole comparison with the Flood is built on sinking sand. Jesus never said his second coming is like the Flood. He said it would be LIKE the days of Noah, which means bearing some similarity but not 100% identical, and it points to the status quo at that time, the "eating, drinking and marrying", nothing about Noah or his family is mentioned; also, that's NOT a pre-trib setting, because if you check the timing in Revelation, the whole judgement period lasts FIVE MONTHS, which exactly matches the five months of the Flood, not 3.5 years or 7 years. It's actually the LAST FIVE MONTHS of the Great Tribulation. Your whole premise is false. You're pushing a false narrative the whole time.

"Before the flood"
That is the setting

Make it something else.

It is your basis.
......and you defend it.
It wont say anything else, no matter how wild you get with it.

It just undoes ya'll, and is so comical.
Such stumbling and fear over the Noah story.
I am still cracking up over your colleague thinking God wiped out mankind using 25 ft of flood water.

Hilarious.

From reading Absolutely wants to teach how high in the heavens 'Noah's ark' was flying
News flash
25 ft of water will not destroy all life on the planet.

But that is your erroneous belief.

That "setting" is IN the tribulation. It's all bummed out. At least from "abomination and desolation", it's all during the tribulation. You're making it something else, not me.

Typical Alinsky tactics, accusing your opponent of what you're doing, isn't it. The timing is clear, both 5 months of doom and the "setting" are WITHIN the tribulation, you're propagating a lie that's pre-trib.
