Are we in court? Here is the context
Matt 5:25Agree with thine adversary quickly, whiles thou art in the way with him; lest at any time the adversary deliver thee to the judge, and the judge deliver thee to the officer, and thou be cast into prison.
I am saying you are peddling a doctrine not espoused by the Scriptures.

Just look at what you said about the the pain of the rich guy. This is the behaviour of an ideologue. I can almost hear the cackling laughter (I think it was the caps)

I did a study of the terms eternal correlated with torment, etc 5 times in the NT out of 196 has hellish dimensions within the verse. 10 times if it is within the same chapter. The rest concerns life, joy happiness, kingdom, etc...
I don't make theology out of 5 verses where none are explicit. Only people who draw on their own imagination make things up to fill the gaps. It is self-evident as you quote only a few verses aeon to aeon.

Here is what is ironic. I happened on your spiel about Michael and Jesus. The very same principle you cite to reject Michael as Jesus is the same as when you consider hell. It is not explicitly written in the Scriptures.
This double standard is indicative of ideology, not belief.
You should study the Bible instead of studying unbelievers heading for Hell fire. Start believing Jesus.

Luke 16
"The rich man also died"
"being in torments"
"he cried"
"I am tormented in this flame"
"this place of torment"

Michael is your savior? Jesus is mine as the NT says MANY times. No savior Michael in the NT. Satan has deceived you.

That is sound advice to study the bible. Thanks.
I was quite enticed with "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" when she spoke against the hell... Hold on, she wasn't speaking against the hell doctrine per se ... because she was battling hell in a cheerleader's outfit and hell was full of bad guys. Ok bad example.
How about that "Supernatural" that ran forever. About 2 brothers with demon blood...Umm... I think we have another bad example. They did not speak about the false doctrine of hell, rather they got rather chummy with hell residents. Not really dissing the hell doctrine...
How about that "Lucifer" series about the devil as a superhero, just a misunderstood imp with daddy issues. Never saw it but ... hold on I am pretty sure "Lucifer" series is promoting the hell doctrine!!!

Hmm... You know , come to think about it, general culture are not contrary to the hell doctrine, seems to promote it. Yes, best not studying unbelievers of world culture for your theology.

Matthew 7:4 Or how wilt thou say to thy brother, Let me pull out the mote out of thine eye; and, behold, a beam is in thine own eye?
Are your cultural cues motish or a girder?

"Michael is your savior? "
Certainly, not.

"Jesus is mine as the NT says MANY times."
Amen, as with me.

"No savior Michael in the NT."
Yes sirree. No explicit verse in the bible that Michael is Jesus - onus is not on me to prove it. Just like no explicit statement of hell in the bible.

"Satan has deceived you."
Huh?

hmm. What do you call a person who cherrypicks his/hers principles?

That’s your private interpretation…
It's a "private interpretation" when Genesis 2:7 KJV plainly says BODY plus BREATH equals a LIVING SOUL???

God used the universal language of Math so no one could get it wrong, but it seems that isn't enough for some.

"A + B = C" is the Biblical interpretation of Genesis 2:7 KJV, which is completely different from "A + B + C = C", which is your private interpretation.

Don't need to. Sodom and Gomorrah are NOT burning today - they are under the Dead Sea.

Dead people are not alive burning in flames - they are dead awaiting the one or the other of the two resurrections where they will either arise forever more or arise and be consigned to a Second Death from which there will be no resurrection.

If only he knew the teaching that Michael is Jesus was mainstream throughout Christianity, but only ceased to be when the JWs began "proving" that since Michael is Jesus, Jesus is merely an angelic created being.

It's hilarious how quickly people rush to jump on bandwagons of contention even though the wheels are falling off their axels.

Of course, to accept that Michael is Jesus is to undermine certain "proof" doctrines about death and hell and eschatology which is why they willfully ignore the solid arguments which prove it...as usual, truth must align itself with popularly accepted ideas rather than allowing ideas to either align with truth or be cast away.

Michael as Jesus and the doctrine of hell suffer the same criticism - it is not explicitly written.

I once studied with the watchtower folks. The proof that "Michael is Jesus" was compelling at the time, but eventually I came to the conclusion it was eisegetical. The main attraction of the belief was it closed off some questions about Revelation and Daniel, neatly and concisely. But as I studied more and my conforming became more precise, the lack of explicit decree became overwhelming. The principle used to conform must therefore stand on all matters or be rejected as opinion. Falsification is as important as verification in any body of reasoning.

Prophecies, Psalms and Proverbs plainly spoken and understood are foundational to the understanding of the Bible.

" two resurrections" ???? Matthew 25 shows only one.

The Son of Man Will Judge All People
31 “The Son of Man will come again with divine greatness, and all his angels will come with him. He will sit as king on his great and glorious throne. 32 All the people of the world will be gathered before him. Then he will separate everyone into two groups. It will be like a shepherd separating his sheep from his goats. 33 He will put the sheep on his right and the goats on his left.

34 “Then the king will say to the godly people on his right, ‘Come, my Father has great blessings for you. The kingdom he promised is now yours. It has been prepared for you since the world was made. 35 It is yours because when I was hungry, you gave me food to eat. When I was thirsty, you gave me something to drink. When I had no place to stay, you welcomed me into your home. 36 When I was without clothes, you gave me something to wear. When I was sick, you cared for me. When I was in prison, you came to visit me.’

37 “Then the godly people will answer, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry and give you food? When did we see you thirsty and give you something to drink? 38 When did we see you with no place to stay and welcome you into our home? When did we see you without clothes and give you something to wear? 39 When did we see you sick or in prison and care for you?’

40 “Then the king will answer, ‘The truth is, anything you did for any of my people here, you also did for me.’

41 “Then the king will say to the evil people on his left, ‘Get away from me. God has already decided that you will be punished. Go into the fire that burns forever—the fire that was prepared for the devil and his angels. 42 You must go away because when I was hungry, you gave me nothing to eat. When I was thirsty, you gave me nothing to drink. 43 When I had no place to stay, you did not welcome me into your home. When I was without clothes, you gave me nothing to wear. When I was sick and in prison, you did not care for me.’

44 “Then those people will answer, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry or thirsty? When did we see you without a place to stay? Or when did we see you without clothes or sick or in prison? When did we see any of this and not help you?’

45 “The king will answer, ‘The truth is, anything you refused to do for any of my people here, you refused to do for me.’

46 “Then these evil people will go away to be punished forever. But the godly people will go and enjoy eternal life.”

Matthew 27:52–53
English Standard Version
52 The tombs also were opened. And many bodies of rthe saints swho had fallen asleep were raised, 53 and coming out of the tombs after his resurrection they went into tthe holy city and appeared to many.

Ephesians 4:7-12
King James Version
7 But unto every one of us is given grace according to the measure of the gift of Christ.

8 Wherefore he saith, When he ascended up on high, he led captivity captive, and gave gifts unto men.

9 (Now that he ascended, what is it but that he also descended first into the lower parts of the earth?

10 He that descended is the same also that ascended up far above all heavens, that he might fill all things.)

11 And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers;

12 For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ:

I see the words "first resurrection", there is no reference to a second resurrection. I can see how one can see verse 13 as a second resurrection. There is no reference to the word resurrection.

Revelation 20:6-21:4
Easy-to-Read Version
6 Great blessings belong to those who share in this first resurrection. They are God’s holy people. The second death has no power over them. They will be priests for God and for Christ. They will rule with him for 1000 years.

The Defeat of Satan
7 When the 1000 years are ended, Satan will be made free from his prison. 8 He will go out to trick the nations in all the earth, the nations known as Gog and Magog. Satan will gather the people for battle. There will be more people than anyone can count, like sand on the seashore.

9 I saw Satan’s army march across the earth and gather around the camp of God’s people and the city that God loves. But fire came down from heaven and destroyed Satan’s army. 10 And he (the one who tricked these people) was thrown into the lake of burning sulfur with the beast and the false prophet. There they would be tortured day and night forever and ever.

People of the World Are Judged

11 Then I saw a large white throne. I saw the one who was sitting on the throne. Earth and sky ran away from him and disappeared. 12 And I saw those who had died, great and small, standing before the throne. Some books were opened. And another book was opened—the book of life. The people were judged by what they had done, which is written in the books.

13 The sea gave up the dead who were in it. Death and Hades gave up the dead who were in them. All these people were judged by what they had done. 14 And Death and Hades were thrown into the lake of fire. This lake of fire is the second death. 15 And anyone whose name was not found written in the book of life was thrown into the lake of fire.

The text does not say there are two resurrections.

Luke 14

12 Then Jesus said to the Pharisee who had invited him, “When you give a lunch or a dinner, don’t invite only your friends, brothers, relatives, and rich neighbors. At another time they will pay you back by inviting you to eat with them. 13 Instead, when you give a feast, invite the poor, the crippled, and the blind. 14 Then you will have great blessings, because these people cannot pay you back. They have nothing. But God will reward you at the time when all godly people rise from death.”

A Story About People Invited to a Dinner
15 One of the men sitting at the table with Jesus heard these things. The man said to him, “It will be a great blessing for anyone to eat a meal in God’s kingdom!”

This text like Matthew 25:46 only says there are two designations for the resurrected.

John 5:29

Easy-to-Read Version

29 Then they will come out of their graves. Those who did good in this life will rise and have eternal life. But those who did evil will rise to be judged guilty.

Matthew 25:46
Easy-to-Read Version
46 “Then these evil people will go away to be punished forever. But the godly people will go and enjoy eternal life.”

I do not see proof of your claim.

The "false doctrine of Hell"? You just called Jesus a liar.

Lack of explicit decree? How can the Bible be any more explicit than to say the voice of the "Son of Man" shall call forth the dead from their graves (John 5:25-29 KJV) but then Paul says the "voice of the Archangel" will call them forth (1 Thessalonians 4:16-18 KJV)?

It's the LORD'S shout, the LORD'S voice, and the LORD'S trumpet (Zechariah 9:14 KJV) that Paul's talking about, right?

You didn't answer the question, so I'll answer it for you:

It says "MANY of the bodies of the saints which slept" came forth from the tombs...it doesn't say "ALL".

Inference isn't necessary when we have a plain "thus saith the Lord".
