This refers to the resurrection of ALL the saints at the Resurrection/Rapture. So those souls and spirits which are presently in Heaven will be brought to earth by Christ, in order to receive their immortal and glorified bodies, and will then return with Christ to Heaven. "Shall rise first" is in relation to the Rapture, which will come next, but within nanoseconds. So the Resurrection precedes the Rapture.
This corresponds to John 11:25,26: Jesus said unto her [Martha], I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live: And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die. Believest thou this?

These sayings cannot be interpreted as Christians never experiencing physical death. They simply mean that believers will live eternally with Christ (even if they die physically). So the Resurrection/Rapture will fulfil this.
“So those souls and spirits which are presently in Heaven will be brought to earth by Christ, in order to receive their immortal and glorified bodies”

why are those others translated and caught up to be in the clouds with the lord that day if thier needing a new earthly body ?

do you see a difference in the spirit , and the spiritual body that’s raised up ? What exactly do you mean by glorified immortal body ? Isn’t the resurrection about the natural body bekng sown into death and a spiritual body bieng raised up to life ?

“But some man will say, How are the dead raised up? and with what body do they come?

and that which thou sowest, thou sowest not that body that shall be, but bare grain, it may chance of wheat, or of some other grain:

it is sown a natural body; it is raised a spiritual body.

There is a natural body, ( that dies )

and there is a spiritual body. ( that lives )

And as we have borne the image of the earthy, we shall also bear the image of the heavenly.”
‭‭1 Corinthians‬ ‭15:35, 37, 44, 49‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Isnt it about being translated from corruption of the flesh into the incorruption of the spiritual born in Christ never to die ?

God’s Word declares that “the soul that sinneth it shall die” (Ezek 18:4, 20). When a man dies, “his breath goeth forth, he returneth to his earth; in that very day his thoughts perish” (Psa. 146:4). God told Adam, “In the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die” (Gen. 2:17). It was not merely Adam’s body that during that thousand-year day died, but Adam himself—the human soul or being died in every respect. That which is immortal is not subject to death; it is death-proof, indestructible. But Adam was mortal, hence could die. The Hebrew word translated “soul” is found hundreds of times in the Bible. Surely if the human soul were immortal God would have said so at least once! The term “immortal soul” is not found in the Bible. There is a difference between everlasting life and immortality. Immortality is only for those in heaven who are of the Divine nature. Everlasting life will never be possessed by any of the human race except as a gift from God. Space will not permit a further discussion here.
good point.
The wrong understanding of what the soul is has caused much confusion. People have adopted the new age, Babylonian, Greek teachings that the soul is a spirit that can exist free from the body. The Bible defines the soul as ....

The physical flesh + the breath of life from God.. = Soul

Gen 2:7 And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.

Man can create robots and the body with every part needed to live can be there but it is not a soul until God gives it the breath of life.

Are we or are we not immortal? No we are not, only God is. The life (not the soul) goes back to God when we die.

Eze_18:20 The soul that sinneth, it shall die.
Ecc 9:4 For to him that is joined to all the living there is hope: for a living dog is better than a dead lion.
Ecc 9:5 For the living know that they shall die: but the dead know not any thing, neither have they any more a reward; for the memory of them is forgotten.
Ecc 9:6 Also their love, and their hatred, and their envy, is now perished; neither have they any more a portion for ever in any thing that is done under the sun.

It's easy to die physically, but just as easy for God to raise someone from the dead as it is for Him to kill them. It isn't out of the reach of God's power to raise a body from the dead. And scripture states that it is within God's power to do what no other can, either physical or spirit being, He "made a living soul" when He made Adam. He didn't destroy Adam in Hell, not yet anyway, but only He knows if He will, destroy both body and soul to never ever live again, or raise Him up, body and soul, to never ever die again. At the final judgement that stands forever sustained by God's power and authority.

Dead means dead.
Not partly, half dead or physically dead.

Without God we are nothing. And we can not live apart from God.
God will not keep us alive for eternity to suffer.

God will not keep us alive for eternity to suffer.
God specifically barred the Tree of Life from Adam and Eve so they could not eat from it and live forever in their sinful state... but somehow we are supposed to believe this is what God has in mind for those who in the final analysis refuse to accept His sovereignty? Somehow we are supposed to believe that God will keep the dead alive forevermore following judgment, to suffer for eternity, and this will bring Him glory? Yeah, I'm not buying it either. It's what is commonly called a lie straight from the pit of hell. The very same lie at the heart of the fall of man and corruption of all creation is being repeated to this very day: You will not surely die.

AMEN - 1 Cor 15 = our natural bodies sown in death(planted in the earth/grave) will Spring Up/Resurrect and be Transformed into His Glorious Image.

Stay focused = Isaiah 26:19
Your dead shall live;
Together with my dead body they shall arise.
Awake and sing, you who dwell in dust;
For your dew is like the dew of herbs,
And the earth shall cast out the dead.

AFTER His Resurrection
Now as they said these things, Jesus Himself stood in the midst of them, and said to them, “Peace to you.” But they were terrified and frightened, and supposed they had seen a spirit. And He said to them, “Why are you troubled? And why do doubts arise in your hearts? Behold My hands and My feet, that it is I Myself. Handle Me and see, for a spirit does not have flesh and bones as you see I have.”
When He had said this, He showed them His hands and His feet. But while they still did not believe for joy, and marveled, He said to them, “Have you any food here?” So they gave Him a piece of a broiled fish and some honeycomb. And He took it and ate in their presence.

This verse should never be brought up as any kind of proof about the afterlife since we have the words of Christ to refute this.

yeah because his flesh wasn’t corrupt and bound to decay like ours it’s fulfillment of prophecy that his flesh wouldn’t decay.

“Because thou wilt not leave my soul in hell, Neither wilt thou suffer thine Holy One to see corruption. he seeing this before spake of the resurrection of Christ, that his soul was not left in hell, neither his flesh did see corruption.”
‭‭Acts‬ ‭2:27, 31‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Jesus body didn’t decay like ours do is why it’s not there . Our flesh is dead already if we’ve ever sinned it’s going to die and return to dust. Decaying back to the earth. But we can have a new spiritual resurrection body

We have to have new bodies spiritual ones. only found here

“Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.

That which is born of the flesh is flesh;

and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.”
‭‭John‬ ‭3:3, 6‬ ‭KJV‬‬

it’s not really correct to think our body isn’t going to die and decay like Jesus body didn’t we have to receive spiritual bodies to be raised up.

“It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life.”
‭‭John‬ ‭6:63‬ ‭KJV‬‬

gotta be reborn in the spiritual and leave the flesh behind. And then we can either live now or die now and wait till the dead are raised

“There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. ….Therefore, brethren, we are debtors, not to the flesh, to live after the flesh.

For if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die:

but if ye through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live.”
‭‭Romans‬ ‭8:1, 12-13‬ ‭KJV

If we follow the flesh we’re going to die and have to wait till the end to be raised to life with the rest of the dead folk.

if we follow the spirit we’re going to part the flesh at the death of our flesh and enter the spiritual places with our spiritual body the eternal
One we get from the gospel.

He’s not going to bring us back from heaven , put us back into death again and then raise us up again in our flesh lol that’s for the dead not the living.

“but their minds were blinded: for until this day remaineth the same vail untaken away in the reading of the old testament;

which vail is done away in Christ.”
‭‭2 Corinthians‬ ‭3:14‬ ‭

Old Testament blinded by a veil of understanding

“For the living know that they shall die: but the dead know not any thing, neither have they any more a reward;”

The veil taken away So one can see in Christ

“And it came to pass, that the beggar died, and was carried by the angels into Abraham's bosom: the rich man also died, and was buried; and in hell he lift up his eyes, being in torments, and seeth Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom. And he cried and said, Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus, that he may dip the tip of his finger in water, and cool my tongue; for I am tormented in this flame.”
‭‭Luke‬ ‭16:22-24‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Jesus is always the better understanding Old Testament wisdom goes only so far it doesn’t see what Jesus does , Solomon is called the wisest man in the Old Testament but

“The queen of the south shall rise up in the judgment with this generation, and shall condemn it: for she came from the uttermost parts of the earth to hear the wisdom of Solomon; and, behold, one greater than Solomon is here.”
‭‭Matthew‬ ‭12:42‬ ‭KJV‬‬

We want to believe Jesus and what he sets forth there’s no greater understanding than the lord and his word to behold.

dying is not the end there’s plenty of reward to be had afterwards it’s what the good news is all about

it’s like looking through a veil brother they couldn’t see the resurrection and life Jesus makes clear

“but their minds were blinded: for until this day remaineth the same vail untaken away in the reading of the old testament;

which vail is done away in Christ.”
‭‭2 Corinthians‬ ‭3:14‬ ‭KJV‬‬

What Christ has to say is Gods understanding not men’s limited understanding of just third present life. If you notice , Jesus talks a lot about what happens after we die infact he makes it plain that our rewards are after this present life throughout the new testament

that verse also says “ they have no more reward and know nothing “ Jesus did infact refute that clearly and resoundingly there’s alot after the first death to come it’s the second death we want to avoid everyone dies once and there’s true life for some after that and torment for others

The New Immortal Bodies will take place immediately upon the "corrupt" bodies rise from the Grave.

Otherwise, what will they do who are baptized for the dead, if the dead do not rise at all? 15:29

Those Graves with dead bodies in them who belong to Christ MUST open up and give up the Dead.
Those corruptible bodies will come out of the Grave transforming into incorruption.

But someone will say, “How are the dead raised up? And with what body do they come?” Foolish one, what you sow is not made alive unless it dies. And what you sow, you do not sow that body that shall be, but mere grain—perhaps wheat or some other grain. But God gives it a body as He pleases, and to each seed its own body.
So also is the resurrection of the dead. The body is sown in corruption, it is raised in incorruption. It is sown in dishonor, it is raised in glory.
For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. For this corruptible must put on incorruption,

and this mortal must put on immortality.
So when this corruptible has put on incorruption, and this mortal has put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written: “Death is swallowed up in victory.”

“Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption.”
‭‭1 Corinthians‬ ‭15:50‬ ‭KJV‬‬

the flesh is appointed to death it’s why we’re all appointed to one death it’s the death of our natural body. Inside of a man is a spiritual body that part doesn’t die it parts from the natural at death.

“And as it is appointed unto men once to die,

but after this the judgment:”
‭‭Hebrews‬ ‭9:27‬ ‭KJV‬‬

the body we got from Adam the. Atrial one is doomed to die , decay and be forgotten . The spiritual we get from Jesus is life and will Last forever.

there is a first resurrection and then a seperate resurrection at the end of days. Christians can be part of the first or the last

Some are able to hear this message that’s throughout the New Testament

“It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life.”
‭‭John‬ ‭6:63‬ ‭KJV‬‬

“Verily, verily, I say unto you, If a man keep my saying, he shall never see death.”
‭‭John‬ ‭8:51‬ ‭KJV‬‬

“There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. ….Therefore, brethren, we are debtors, not to the flesh, to live after the flesh. For if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die:

but if ye through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live.”
‭‭Romans‬ ‭8:1, 12-13‬ ‭KJV‬‬

we can be part of the resurrection of the dead , or can die to the flesh in this life and be part of the eternal Resurrection by which we never enter death when our flesh dies we just part with our new spiritual body born in Christ

some aren’t able to hear that but they do hear this

“that if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.”
‭‭Romans‬ ‭10:9‬ ‭

“For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.”
‭‭Romans‬ ‭10:13‬ ‭KJV‬

that will save them at the last resurrection but rejecting his words of life will exclude them from the first resurrection

lol - point out the interpretation.

Make sure it is contrary to what is written.

If you believe those dead bodies stay in the graves you are contrary to Prophecy/Genesis/Isaiah 26:19/Daniel ch12 and 1 Corinthians chapter 15, including our LORD Himself as well.

The hand of the Lord came upon me and brought me out in the Spirit of the Lord, and set me down in the midst of the valley; and it was full of bones. Then He caused me to pass by them all around, and behold, there were very many in the open valley; and indeed they were very dry. And He said to me, “Son of man, can these bones live?”
So I answered, “O Lord God, You know.”
Again He said to me, “Prophesy to these bones, and say to them, ‘O dry bones, hear the word of the Lord!
Thus says the Lord God to these bones: “Surely I will cause breath to enter into you, and you shall live. I will put sinews on you and bring flesh upon you, cover you with skin and put breath in you; and you shall live. Then you shall know that I am the Lord.” ’ ”

your looking at the spiritual with the natural the proper interpretation of that is found here

“Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life.

Verily, verily, I say unto you, The hour is coming, and now is, when the dead shall hear the voice of the Son of God: and they that hear shall live.

For as the Father hath life in himself; so hath he given to the Son to have life in himself; and hath given him authority to execute judgment also, because he is the Son of man.

Marvel not at this: for the hour is coming, in the which all that are in the graves shall hear his voice, and shall come forth; they that have done good, unto the resurrection of life; and they that have done evil, unto the resurrection of damnation.”
‭‭John‬ ‭5:24-29‬ ‭

the Old Testament is veiled they didn’t understand about the spiritual things the only concept they had was of the natural Body they didn’t understand this part

“it is sown a natural body; it is raised a spiritual body. There is a natural body, and there is a spiritual body.”
‭‭1 Corinthians‬ ‭15:44‬ ‭KJV‬‬

the corrupt flesh is never going to rise it’s of Adam it’s of sin and death . The spiritual body born here will never die it’s how he was going to raise people up

“Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.”
‭‭John‬ ‭3:3‬ ‭KJV‬‬

That which is born of the flesh is flesh;

and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.”
‭‭John‬ ‭3:6‬ ‭KJV‬‬

the flesh and blood is. Ot part of the resurrection ot dies and decays returns to the dust , the spiritual is raised up not the corruption that’s never going to rise up it’s bound to decay

“Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God;

neither doth corruption inherit incorruption.”
‭‭1 Corinthians‬ ‭15:50‬ ‭

the flesh and spirit are seperate bodies one we got through Adam that’s dead already but the spiritual we get from Christ will be raised up seperate from the dead one of flesh.

Your trying to understand the New Testament by looking through the old rather than accepting the new d understanding the old all they knew was the flesh Jesus is always speaking the spirit forth

but again your right is to interpret it however you will no harm
In it from My view I just don’t find much agreement with you in this matter

4Again He said to me, “Prophesy to these bones, and say to them, ‘O dry bones, hear the word of the Lord! 5Thus says the Lord God to these bones: “Surely I will cause breath to enter into you, and you shall live. 6I will put sinews on you and bring flesh upon you, cover you with skin and put breath in you; and you shall live. Then you shall know that I am the Lord.”

your looking at the spiritual with the natural the proper interpretation of that is found here

That which is born of the flesh is flesh;

and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.”
‭‭John‬ ‭3:6‬ ‭KJV‬‬

the flesh and blood is. Ot part of the resurrection ot dies and decays returns to the dust , the spiritual is raised up not the corruption that’s never going to rise up it’s bound to decay

“Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God;

neither doth corruption inherit incorruption.”
‭‭1 Corinthians‬ ‭15:50‬ ‭

the flesh and spirit are seperate bodies one we got through Adam that’s dead already but the spiritual we get from Christ will be raised up seperate from the dead one of flesh.

You keep going to the "flesh and blood cannot inherit the Kingdom of God" and fail to understand this only pertains to "corruptible flesh".

Follow the Prophetic word and the factual events that took place at Christ's resurrection and 1 Cor ch15.

1.) Graves will Open Up and the DEAD Rise OUT from within them.
2.) The DEAD Rise in INCORRUPTIBLE Bodies
3.) Mortal Bodies will PUT ON IMMORTALITY

You and i do not know how Christ does this and this is the MYSTERY spoken by Paul in 1 Cor ch15

it’s found in the gospel actually. Paul’s just explaining what Jesus already set forth. Paul wasn’t creating a mystery He was explaining it

there are two resurrections we don’t take part in both we either do one and take part of the present eternal resurrection of our spiritual body the moment our flesh dies , or we take part em the dead are raised in the end because we chose the flesh

For if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die:

but if ye through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live.”
‭‭Romans‬ ‭8:13

if we live after the flesh we’re going to be raised here with the dead at christs return

“And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works. …And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.”
‭‭Revelation‬ ‭20:12, 15‬ ‭KJV‬‬

some Christians will be in That group and saved then because they died in Christ.

other Christians who did this aren’t in that group

“Verily, verily, I say unto you, If a man keep my saying, he shall never see death.”
‭‭John‬ ‭8:51‬ ‭KJV‬‬

They aren’t part of the dead being judged because they accepted judgement now and let the flesh die now and followed the spirit now bekng reborn into everlasting life they are in this group who overcame the flesh and world by his word of life

“And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God,

and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.

But the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection.”
‭‭Revelation‬ ‭20:4-5‬ ‭KJV‬‬

They found resurrection here

“Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life.”
‭‭John‬ ‭5:24‬ ‭KJV‬‬

and so they aren’t let of the dead in the end who are raised here

“Marvel not at this: for the hour is coming, in the which all that are in the graves shall hear his voice, and shall come forth; they that have done good, unto the resurrection of life; and they that have done evil, unto the resurrection of damnation.”
‭‭John‬ ‭5:28-29‬ ‭KJV‬‬

there are two resurrections one present and one for the dead who fall asleep in Christ not able to put the flesh to death but remain in the grave until tbier spiritual body is raised up in the end

some will be saved in the end others find life by the spirit now and when thoer flesh dies thier spirit goes into the lords kingdom to reign with him until the rest of The dead are raised

“For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.”
‭‭1 Thessalonians‬ ‭4:16-17‬ ‭KJV‬‬

That’s those who does in Christ because of this they’re still going to be saved because they called upon his name

“For if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die: but if ye through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live.”
‭‭Romans‬ ‭8:13‬ ‭KJV‬‬

There are the living in Christ and the dead in Christ but all in him will be saved some he will bring with him others he will father in the end from among the dead again , not this group though

“Verily, verily, I say unto you, If a man keep my saying, he shall never see death.”
‭‭John‬ ‭8:51‬ ‭KJV‬‬

that’s the spirit we follow to mortify the flesh so we don’t enter death with the flesh. If we’re able to hear that part we’re of the firstfruits in christs resurrection there’s an order to it both resurrections

“For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive. But every man in his own order:

Christ , the firstfruits;

afterward they that are Christ's at his coming.

If we hear and believe the gospel and keep it the second death has no power over us nor the resurrection of the dead who are raised in the end , we can be part of the reign on heaven the firstfruits raised with Christ.

“Of his own will begat he us with the word of truth, that we should be a kind of firstfruits of his creatures.”
‭‭James‬ ‭1:18‬ ‭KJV
