I haven't found a Christian mentor to help teach me yet, I'm hoping to find a church to attend soon when I move out of my parents place. Used to live in a shared home, which pretty much drove me nuts

You'll find that the Holy Spirit that is with you now will guide you along the way, there's no better teacher.
A mentor can certainly help, God has put in place (set aside) pastors/elders to watch over His children (us). May God guide you to where you can best be nurtured.
What part of Oz do you live in, I'm up at Tin Can Bay just north of Noosa on the Sunshine Coast of Queensland. It's stop raining here for a while, we've had 2 metres of rain, give or take, so far this year, but little flooding fortunately.

I live in South Australia, and I loved Queensland when I visited way before Covid came. I visited there with my parents and older brother, I visited Sea world (Oops, had no idea until recently the suffering dolphins endure there), movie world which was fun, dream world and wet & wild. The weather here in Adelaide has been nice this week, the sun's been out
