My day was quite exhausting but good. I got up around 5 am and got to work for 9 hours, then I came home, worked out and did some gardening. Soon I will play some songs for the Lord on my guitar, continue reading the gospel of mark and then it's already time to sleep. A good reminder whenever I feel tired is Psalm 28:7: "The Lord is my strength and my shield; my heart trusts in him, and he helps me. My heart leaps for joy, and with my song I praise him."
Hope everyone else had a blessed day too.

Ruby, I love how the Lord has a way of giving a warning. He knows you best. I pray that whatever is coming will be a blessing. :)
Thankyou LCS. I just saw this reply just now. My notification bell is sometimes dormant lol. Hope all is going well with you.

Hmmm now I am not sure whether I did reply or not earlier on. It seemed new and then familiar. Either way LCS thank you for your post.

My day's been okay. Pain is ever-present. But so is the Lord.
The Lord is my strength and my song...He has given me victory!

I have a Chantilly or Tiffaney her name is Willow and a tuxedo Izzy. Well my son does stay with me. I live near a river and a lake. I usually fish for catfish ,crappie, etc. What kind of cats do you have and names?
Just the one. She's an Australian Shorthair Tortoiseshell. The previous slaves called her Sasha. I got her as a rehomer. She was 4yo then, now coming up to 10. Besides Sasha she gets Sweetie, Little Grub, Little One, Four-legged Nightmare, Little Girl, Naughty Tortie and a few others, often all mentioned in the one breath, or so it seems!

Some of the best art I know was in Calvin & Hobbes comics.

What a classic 😂, this is a great comic strip, great satire!
Lanolin might come up with something similar. NZ had a comic strip titled Footrot Flats. It has a lot of zanyness in it, which we Aussies relate to too.

I dont see any weeds...?!

very straight and rectangular, even your big buxus has a flat top!
though I try to clip mine into more rounded shapes
Do you do the edging as well using a line trimmer or clippers. though in nz we call those machines weed eaters, not sure why as they dont really EAT weeds. Just cut them.

Pity caterpillers and slugs dont eat all the weeds
The weeds got too close to the mower blades, and went ffft!
The main problem is Mullumbimby Cooch. I've got some pelleted lawn feeder and weedicide I'll sprinkle around when the BOM gives a forecast of dry weather ahead.

Line Trimmers seem to a globally used term, we usually call them whipper snipers in Oz. I have seem them being called weed eaters in the past here, but not so much lately. Yes, I flick that over on its back and run it along the edge. I have to be careful that no debris flies off and hurts someone, or damages property. I stop running it if someone or an animal is about.

My favourite in that photo is the bigger bush in the middle, it's a Lemon Myrtle.

How's your day been over there....is it last day of school holidays tomorrow?

What a wonderful day. Well done.
I couldn't see any pics of chainsaws or axes in your avatar, maybe you leave all those at work 🙂
But I did notice what looks like an awfully big V10 that would probably use pylon drivers as pistons 😏

G'day guys, how's your day been?

Mine's been pretty laid back...gym in the morning, cafe for coffee, a wee bit of shopping, put up a solar security light on the shed, more shopping, more coffee, now winding down. Cat needs to be fed soon, then to cook up something for myself for dinner. All the while grateful for God's blessing, and hoping I can pay Him back in some way by doing good.

I hope you have had a good one. Feel free to describe yours please, for other than the times I get to chat with the Father, mine can be a bit mundane. Shalom, Tony 🙂
Good day, glad your having a good day, I had a pretty good day, appreciated that my dad bought me subway today, and I got an email from Trinity Baptist Church in Winnipeg and my dad got an email from his lawyer they are sending back a portion of the retainer he paid.

3 answers to prayer in one day, I guess it's God's way of saying he misses hearing from me.

Only complaint is that the air mattress I use for a bed is on the fritz lost air and went flat in under 2 hours. The air is leaking out some where between where my head and belly is and its building up at the back where my feet and electric motor is.

Sounds like you're up for one really interesting sleep ahead 😳... might be safer and more comfortable to hit the floor!

I know Jesus is going to receive me in heaven because I lived through he'll on earth.

My dad's former landlord is a pot head all sorts of people over all hours of the night getting high, ruined my dad's sleeping pattern he doesn't go to bed till about 3 am, and because of the size of my apartment keeps me up that late now too.

Let's just say i am in favor of bringing capitol punishment and the death penalty back to Canada. Because I've seen the evil of this generation.

today went into the city and walked around and had lunch it was nice tho my friend is a chatterbox! We went to look in some bookshops and then library and she kept chatting away so I thought we'd better leave before she got kicked out for talking too much. She also talked all the way on the train though I dont mind cos the conversation is interesting, but in general people dont talk on the train lol.

Good that you exited the bookshop post haste. Wouldn’t look good for a librarian to be blacklisted by a bookshop. You might have gotten the odd stare on the train too I suspect. But hey, people need to loosen up, right! 😏

Sorry to learn about that. We Southerners tend to think of Canada being friendly, clean and green. Is drug related violence the problem, or do you feel it's a general breakdown in law and order in society?

I like cats too.
I am moving to a property in one weeks time. The landlord is my neighbour. They had a B&B that they have decided to rent out permanently so I will be renting that. It is only for 3 months to see if I like it and they like me. I will see how it goes. Our houses are quite close together unfortunately but the good news is that they have two cats. So I will get my cat time hopefully.
One is black and white the other an orange tabby. I am hoping they visit frequently.
Shopping will be about 28km away, so it is a bit of a drive. I am hoping it all works out. I must admit I am getting nervous about it all and I hope it is a good move. This place I am presently in and have been for the past two years has been difficult and there have been times I have been in tears to the Lord asking him to open up a new door. I am hoping this is the one.o_O:eek::unsure::unsure:

I'm really sorry to hear that your current abode has been problematic Ruby, what caused the problem?

Moving is such a daunting experience, I guess that it being so close you can move most of your gear without having to have a full on removalist jobby is a plus! May your future be blessed with happiness Ruby 🙏

If you find you aren't getting sufficient cat time let me know and I'll ship Sasha over, she's always up for having another slave in her quiver!

I hope it all goes well for you.
