Those that Jesus confessed that he did not know them could not have recieved the holy ghost. If they had recieved the holy ghost then he would have known them for he would have shed it upon them.

I suspect those who will say to him that they had done many wonderful works in his name were doing iniquity as Jesus said.
“Those that Jesus confessed that he did not know them could not have recieved the holy ghost. If they had recieved the holy ghost then he would have known them for he would have shed it upon them.”

we receive the Holy Ghost by Gods gift to a believer but after we receive the Holy Spirit we can’t live as servants to sin just receiving the Holy Spirit isn’t where this ends

“For it is impossible for those who were once enlightened, and have tasted of the heavenly gift, and were made partakers of the Holy Ghost, and have tasted the good word of God, and the powers of the world to come, if they shall fall away, to renew them again unto repentance; seeing they crucify to themselves the Son of God afresh, and put him to an open shame.”
‭‭Hebrews‬ ‭6:4-6‬ ‭KJV‬‬

We can receive the Holy Spirit and then reject him and not hear and follow we have to actually walk in the spirit not receive it and then go on living as we did before when we receive the Holy Spirit we should all take this very seriously

“What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own?

For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's.”
‭‭1 Corinthians‬ ‭6:19-20‬ ‭KJV‬‬

What we do and say and how we live is all being done while God is present with us. What we do good or evil is being done in his sight in his holy presence when we won’t repent even as his word is convicting our hearts were stifling and putting out the flame of the spirit

“But ye have not so learned Christ; if so be that ye have heard him, and have been taught by him, as the truth is in Jesus:

that ye put off concerning the former conversation the old man, which is corrupt according to the deceitful lusts;

and be renewed in the spirit of your mind; ( believing the word of God does that )

and that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness.

Wherefore putting away lying, speak every man truth with his neighbour: for we are members one of another. Be ye angry, and sin not: let not the sun go down upon your wrath:

Let him that stole steal no more: but rather let him labour, working with his hands the thing which is good, that he may have to give to him that needeth.

Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers.

And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption.

Let all bitterness, and wrath, and anger, and clamour, and evil speaking, be put away from you, with all malice: and be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake hath forgiven you.”
‭‭Ephesians‬ ‭4:20-26, 28-32‬ ‭

Pauls teaching us that we have to change from our old ways and teaching us to actually start doing these things

it matters what we do we can actually grieve and offend the holy ghost just like osrael did when they sacrificed to false gods in his temple now we are the temple the holy place where God dwells among us . If we keep serving Satan it’s not going to end well when we commit sin we are doing what Satan wants us to do it sounds harsh but that’s true we need to see our actions for what they are

it’s more important once we believe how we live than before we hear the gospel and believe because God comes to dwell in and with us permanently he’s witnessing it all and it’s our role to follow the new spirit me leave the old behind we have to not only say we’re reborn but have to actually let him reform us otherwise we’re not going to have any excuse one day of why we choose serving sin over Jesus and Gods Will we can serve the world and our own lists and perish or find and follow Gods Will and live

The curse of the law is not the knowlegde of right and wrong. The curse is death for those that transgress it.
It you never transgressed the the law, you would not be cursed.

True God needs to be just, but is merciful also.

It is the plan of salvation that enables justice and mercy to be given. They Perfectly meets at the cross.
Few are saved because they do not accept salvation that Jesus offers. God has done all to save everyone but will not force people to accept and love Him.
well said

God the Father son and holy ghost all agree

“Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him.

He that loveth me not keepeth not my sayings:

and the word which ye hear is not mine, but the Father's which sent me.

These things have I spoken unto you, being yet present with you.

But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.”

Yet where there is no law there is no sin.
True.
So when adam ate the forbidden fruit a law condemned him as guilty.

We can remove the law and believe we are not guilty of any sins or we can obey the law (through the power of Christ in us) and be free from the chains of sin.

Rom 7:11 For sin, taking occasion by the commandment, deceived me, and by it slew me. 12 Wherefore the law is holy, and the commandment holy, and just, and good. 13 Was then that which is good made death unto me? God forbid. But sin, that it might appear sin, working death in me by that which is good; that sin by the commandment might become exceeding sinful. 14 For we know that the law is spiritual: but I am carnal, sold under sin.

The law helped Paul to realize how sinful he was and that he needed to crucify the flesh.

Jesus is the solution.
We will fail if we try to obey the law in our own strength. But praise God Jesus can do it in us.
Rom 8:3 For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh:

since we cannot be regenerated by the Holy Spirit until we first HEAR the Gospel and secondly BELIEVE it is TRUE to ACCEPT Christ as Lord and Savior, then EVERY human being is a Candidate to be Saved!

you really should think before you post. you always destroy your own argument.
This is error friend, prior to regeneration, being made alive anew, we are dead to God, dead in sin ! A dead person cannot hear, accept or any such activity, activity is proof of life, dont forget that !

Are you calling me a cherry picking demonic?

Don't sweat it, I've been called that and worse on here. Never knew I was in the devils camp till I came to CC. Imagine that, 20 yrs of ministry and I was serving the devil all that time. Shoot, I could have stayed in my comfy home and been a keyboard evangelist with my feet up instead of risking my neck traveling to bring the Gospel to others. But I think we have a nice club going here, so come on in and have a drink. rofl

Fascinating.

I think if you hold to context you'll see The Elect of God are also identified in the OT as God's chosen people. Abraham, keep in mind was Gentile.

Even in the OT no one understood the things of God unless he let them.
Pre Calvin.😉

Abraham became the first Jew, from him came Israel, Jews trace their heritage back to him. The Jews are the chosen people of the OT.

Jesus tells us we are His beloved friends, and in Him we have salvation. Good thing these flamethrowers on CC proved Jesus wrong. It gives us an opportunity to earn our salvation.

That said, @The_Watchers_2017 is a warrior for sharing God’s irrevocable grace and I misunderstood his message to me. I’m glad I did because he’s one of the good guys.

One more thing, I love what you bring to the table. Keep fighting the good fight, my sister.

Few are saved because they do not accept salvation that Jesus offers. God has done all to save everyone but will not force people to accept and love Him.
God gave mankind the freedom to choose how they want to live their lives here in this world, but mankind's eternal inheritance is given by God's sovereign grace, without any action from mankind.

God did not offer eternal salvation to mankind. Jesus was sacrificed for the sins of those that his Father gave him, not all mankind, as an offering to God, in which God was well pleased, not an offering to man.

Because he gave mankind the freedom to choose how they wanted to live their lives while here on earth, is what made it necessary for him to choose a larger portion of them to adopt as his children, due to the fact that, by his foreknowledge, he saw that nobody would seek him (Psalms 53:2-3).

Dan 4:35 - And all the inhabitants of the earth are reputed as nothing: and he doeth according to his will in the army ao heaven, and among the inhabitants of the earth, AND NONE CAN STAY HIS HAND, or say unto him, What doest thou?

There’s no denying God hardened the hearts of some folks so that His majesty could be seen, but that doesn’t mean those very people did not have a change of heart afterward and presented with the opportunity to have faith in God.

I also don’t see where God hardened the hearts of everyone but for a few select people. To me, that implies people had then, and continue to have today, a choice. That said, thank you for taking the time to share as you have.
Who hardened Pharaoh's heart?

I have never consulted mankind for the truths that are in the scriptures, and I am not starting now. The scriptures prove themselves, and are the only source that I depend upon, with the help of the revelation of the Holy Spirit within me. Post me a scripture that you think proves your belief, and I will respond.

1. NO ONE repents until they understand why they need to repent.
2. NO ONE understands why they need to repent until they understand what Jesus did for them.
3. NO ONE understands what Jesus did for them until they HEAR and BELIEVE..

Regeneration is Repentance. but you don't ever repent until you know why you want to repent. and you don't know why until you HEAR and BELIEVE what Jesus did for you is something you want and need..

your knowledge of the WORD is horrifically skewed!

Your first two, I agree with, and I may be reading you wrongly with this third one, but if you think the unregenerate person can hear and believe in spiritual things (1 Cor 2:14) before he has been quickened to the new spiritual life, (Eph 2:1) you are misquoting the scriptures.

Yet by nature none understands Rom 3:11

11 There is none that understandeth, there is none that seeketh after God.

Repentance comes with regeneration, the New Life, so one must have New Spiritually life to repent, otherwise man is naturally dead to God and doesnt seek, or understand the True God Rom 3:11

11 There is none that understandeth, there is none that seeketh after God.

before you were a Follower of Christ and at the age to make that decision on your own, when you did wrong and your parents told you were wrong you knew you were wrong. you were unregenerate and still understood you were wrong concerning your parents rules. how could you understand if you were unregenerate?

do you understand how skewed and flawed your use of unregenerate is?
