I'm glad he took the time to give so many practical examples that a couple can immediately apply to maintain and strengthen their marriage. Given the stunning number of divorces in the church, his advice is sorely needed and greatly appreciated.
If you've been going to the average church, the advice he gave won't be working in them. 52% of christian marriages end in divorce, not counting a.) separation, b.) affairs while still married, and c.) emotional divorces while still living together. If you go to church, you might look a little closer and see if advice on not cheating will work. When I go to church, I have to make sure I wear very simple cologne or no cologne at all. Simple advice won't fix complex problems, whether or not you appreciate the advice.

Not a chance. I'm not bragging. I try to help people along. It's easy to take advantage of people, so I try to help people not be so easily taken advantage of.

I don't want people to listen to me because they know me and then think, "Okay, he has value to me. I can respect him now. I can take him seriously now." I think people should consider what people say no matter who is saying it.

Some people will say they want to teach 'game' to men on how to get women and vice versa. I won't teach anyone how to manipulate, trick, trap, or deceive someone else, so I don't teach 'game'. But I can definitely help guys get girls and girls get guys (maybe not the ones they want because I don't teach people to pretend).

Have you seen the movie 'Hitch' with Will Smith? It came out in 2005. It's funny and exaggerated, but it's supposed to be. Will's character is a dating coach, and his entire premise for men is that any man can get any woman. This is disturbingly true. For the most part.

I can take more than one girl home a day, not just one. It's about not playing by the rules. Why just one a day? So, here's how it works:

People don't live past their expectations and tend to only progress or succeed out of necessity. Eg. a couple makes $75K/yr. They have two kids and their income goes up to $105K/yr. Another couple makes a combined $500K/yr. They have two kids, so they buy a four-bedroom house. Then they have two more kids, so they buy a seven-bedroom house. Each couple 'expands' only as necessary. The first couple doesn't shoot for an income of $105/yr without kids, and the second couple doesn't buy a seven-bedroom house without kids. But if you don't 'play by the rules', you aren't limited to the rules.

Unspoken rules determine that a guy can take one girl home at a time-- maybe once or twice a week. Guys who don't live by those rules realize that they can take home as many girls and as often as they want if they can. That immediately allows them to get more girls than they would while playing by the rules. Whoever sees 'more' as their starting point will naturally get more than the person who sees 'just enough' as their starting point. The guy who's determined to take home five girls from the club or bar might end up with two or three because he is thinking, "More." The few other guys who take home a girl will be taking home just one because they were thinking "Just enough".

I don't look at any woman and think, "She's out of my league" or "She's not good enough for me." I mean, how the hell is that even possible? Star-struck and intimidation aren't things that happen to me. One of my exes told me women don't approach me because of the way I walk like I'm daring them to, etc. It's just because the rules don't apply to me. You can't tell me, "You have to do this. You can't do that." The rules that do apply to me are God's opinions on romance outside of marriage. If not for those, haha. I'd be super rich and super stupid.

Here's the 'Hitch' trailer:

You had to go with Will Smith lol hes an example of what is not masculine. He even slapped in that scene, like a girl.
I think I get what youre saying but arent you afraid of it becoming a prosperity thing? Like maybe one can think he can get untold amount of females but does he deserve that? I think truthfully we might feel we have to say the right thing which is I just want one man/woman but if the rules were different we might be all up in polygamy.

I remember many years ago walking downtown on the main street and this guy was walking up the street. He could have been a model or athlete or something but the way he walked with all this masculinity, Im lucky I didnt walk into a pole. But it was more than his looks, I mean he wasnt even wearing shoes lol He had this vibe thing which I believe if I as a woman felt it, others would have too.

...since I was wee little boy.
I didn't know there were grades of little boyness. So there's the "wee" stage. What other stages are there? I know there's the bouncing baby boy stage. Any others?

LMAO. Almost walked into a pole. It's refreshing to hear honesty like that. It happens often, really. Not as often as men having and almost having accidents staring at women.

Yes, the vibe has a lot to do with it. A friend of mine told me something about vibes between men of different races and how men can sense vibes across different races. It's actually true though most men aren't consciously aware that they are picking up on these things. For one, white and black men definitely sense each other's general or overall vibes.

I actually never got excited about female attention. It's definitely appreciated, like someone buying something from you and then saying thanks for it, but it's not something I seek out. (Actually, most men don't feel comfortable when women stare at or 'objectiy' them. Men just won't speak up about it.) I was down in Savannah, GA visiting my parents several years ago. My younger brother and his wife and daughter were due at the Greyhound from Baltimore, MD, so I went to pick them up. I heard their bus was running over an hour late, so I got up and walked out the station. I stood on the sidewalk thinking about I don't know what and looking at the road. Savannah, GA is a tourist town. They have these tourist buses... Anyway, I lingered there for about twenty minutes. In that time, maybe sixty buses passed by. (They weren't all different buses. Sometimes, a bus would go up the street in front of me and later come down the same street.) Most of the passengers were women, most of them older (like late 30s and early 40s), and many of them married with their husbands (or boyfriends) sitting beside them. I had my green sunglasses on (green is my favorite color), so I don't know if they thought I was looking up at the sky or what, but a lot of these women just stared at me, bus after bus. I started wondering about southern ladies. I could not believe they were so forward or so obvious. I wasn't impressed. I'd forgotten about it a few seconds after I went back in the Greyhound station. I think I looked like I was pondering on taking over the world was why they were enthralled by my green shades. I could not believe how pitiful it all was.

Look, a lot of attraction between the sexes is um... fickle? Probably not the right word. It's kind of illusory. Or maybe I should say that men and women tend to find each other more enthralling than we really are. But all is fair. As for Will Smith, I was only indicating what his character said-- that any man can get any woman. Which is disturbingly true. Lol.

Is that a real question?

I dont think anyones really paying attention this is such a boring topic lol

If you have to ask you must not know or experience a good friendship with either. Obviously Jesus was friends with both men and women after Plato.

Lanolin is that your final answer? lol.
Guess our definitions of friends is different. Jesus had disciples but wasnt it a teacher student relations?

also God and Abraham were buddy buddy and so was Moses.
Moses more so cos he spoke with God face to face.

I would think all of us are friends with Jesus if we are believers and we arent friends for ulterior reasons.

Maybe it's just me, but I'm finding some comments here rather troubling.

Not to pick on you or to single you out, but why would you even be interested in seeing such a thing?

This guy talks about women as if they're playthings (and as if he's God's gift to women) to be exploited and used, and, quite frankly, dumb, carnal, and cheap playthings who are drawn to men based solely upon external things like looks and scents.

Is this how you like to see women portrayed?

It's sickening to me.

I'm surprised by what some women here are tolerating or even enjoying...or am I?

So much for Christ and the church being our God-given example of what a true male/female relationship should look like.

I find it interesting to observe how Mr SoC’s fantasy world is on display here. It’s safe to say that reality has no part of it.

I think she meant that rhetorically. Also colloquially.

"I'd like to see that" is commonly used rhetorically to indicate disbelief, as in "Yeah, no, that isn't even a thing. If you can prove what you're saying, I'd like to see it."

Actually I do know a few - a VERY few - girls that any guy could get. I wouldn't say it's for the most part though. The vast majority of girls I know are smarter than that (and they talk a lot about the girls who are that gullible.)

Even if you're correct, then it doesn't change the fact that this guy is a misogynistic jerk.

His head is so big with his overinflated opinion of himself that I honestly doubt that a camera exists with a wide enough lens to capture it in a single frame.

Anyhow, these conversations, on this thread and others, have only confirmed certain things for me that I've believed/suspected for many, many years.

Simply put, that Satanic characteristics (vanity, beauty, pride, arrogance, etc.) are more appealing to a lot of women that Christlike characteristics.

To each their own.

As soft as a woman is to hold, this tree is feeling pretty good right now.

Time for me to exit these conversations and to make my way even further back into the woods.

Nothing in society seems too appealing to me at the moment.

Later...
