Nineveh repented in Jonah, but in Nahum they were violently destroyed in 40 days for all their rewarding of the whores and hatred of the faithful. Which do you think shall be this society? Which book do these despicable nations resemble?
They are simply dead in their trespasses and sin just as we once were. And like us, they need mercy.
If you feel led of God to go to any such group of people, I will commit to praying daily for your ministry.

If the sword comes then they ought to worry indeed, for the sword will be worse than when God breaks the power of the nations very soon.
Why don’t you try focusing on God’s saving grace? This side of the cross is actually quite beautiful. I promise.

The wicked ones want mercy so they can continue in the lies and the wickedness, but to the faithful that actually believe God and his words they will show no such mercy, therefore no mercy shall God show to them.

So it is a true saying that God said; they blind their own eyes and shut their own ears, lest at any time they should see and hear and repent and I should heal them. On the side before the cross God promised to shake the earth, but on this side of the cross God has promised to shake both the earth and the heavens.

This is actually antithetical to the teachings of Jesus. Even from the cross He sought forgiveness for those who treated Him so harshly.
God would have mercy, not sacrifice.

There was a a certain man that had a vineyard and he lent it out to husbandman and went into a far country. When the time of harvest was near he sent his servants to gather the fruit of the vineyard, but they mocked and beat his servants, cast some of them out, and kill others. The lord of the vineyard sent more servants unto them and the husbandmen did likewise to them. Lastly the lord of the vineyard sent his only begotten son, saying, surely they will reverence my son. Yet when the husbandman saw the son approaching they said, "look here comes the heir, let us kill him and the vineyard shall be ours" and so they killed the son. What shall then the lord of vineyard do unto the husbandmen when he returns?

This was spoken concerning the Jewish nation which had prophet after prophet come and finally Jesus Himself and still rejected God. And there does come a time when God no longer extends mercy and judgment is swift and sure. But we live in a time when grace abounds and all people are invited to come. Why would you rather see God move in judgment as opposed to grace and mercy?

Have you ever heard why Herod cast John the Baptist into prison and cut off his head?

Is this society like John the Baptist or are they like Herod and Herodias?
You are missing my point. Getting rid of evil people doesn't rid the world of evil. Changing evil people to godly people can. This is why we don't wrestle against flesh and blood but wickedness in the spiritual realm. We will never overcome evil with evil, but good.

Have you ever heard what God said to Jeremiah and Jeremiah said to God?

Jeremiah 18

1 The word which came to Jeremiah from the Lord, saying,

2 Arise, and go down to the potter's house, and there I will cause thee to hear my words.

3 Then I went down to the potter's house, and, behold, he wrought a work on the wheels.

4 And the vessel that he made of clay was marred in the hand of the potter: so he made it again another vessel, as seemed good to the potter to make it.

5 Then the word of the Lord came to me, saying,

6 O house of Israel, cannot I do with you as this potter? saith the Lord. Behold, as the clay is in the potter's hand, so are ye in mine hand, O house of Israel.

7 At what instant I shall speak concerning a nation, and concerning a kingdom, to pluck up, and to pull down, and to destroy it;

8 If that nation, against whom I have pronounced, turn from their evil, I will repent of the evil that I thought to do unto them.

9 And at what instant I shall speak concerning a nation, and concerning a kingdom, to build and to plant it;

10 If it do evil in my sight, that it obey not my voice, then I will repent of the good, wherewith I said I would benefit them.

11 Now therefore go to, speak to the men of Judah, and to the inhabitants of Jerusalem, saying, Thus saith the Lord; Behold, I frame evil against you, and devise a device against you: return ye now every one from his evil way, and make your ways and your doings good.

12 And they said, There is no hope: but we will walk after our own devices, and we will every one do the imagination of his evil heart.

13 Therefore thus saith the Lord; Ask ye now among the heathen, who hath heard such things: the virgin of Israel hath done a very horrible thing.

14 Will a man leave the snow of Lebanon which cometh from the rock of the field? or shall the cold flowing waters that come from another place be forsaken?

15 Because my people hath forgotten me, they have burned incense to vanity, and they have caused them to stumble in their ways from the ancient paths, to walk in paths, in a way not cast up;

16 To make their land desolate, and a perpetual hissing; every one that passeth thereby shall be astonished, and wag his head.

17 I will scatter them as with an east wind before the enemy; I will shew them the back, and not the face, in the day of their calamity.

18 Then said they, Come and let us devise devices against Jeremiah; for the law shall not perish from the priest, nor counsel from the wise, nor the word from the prophet. Come, and let us smite him with the tongue, and let us not give heed to any of his words.

19 Give heed to me, O Lord, and hearken to the voice of them that contend with me.

20 Shall evil be recompensed for good? for they have digged a pit for my soul. Remember that I stood before thee to speak good for them, and to turn away thy wrath from them.

21 Therefore deliver up their children to the famine, and pour out their blood by the force of the sword; and let their wives be bereaved of their children, and be widows; and let their men be put to death; let their young men be slain by the sword in battle.

22 Let a cry be heard from their houses, when thou shalt bring a troop suddenly upon them: for they have digged a pit to take me, and hid snares for my feet.

23 Yet, Lord, thou knowest all their counsel against me to slay me: forgive not their iniquity, neither blot out their sin from thy sight, but let them be overthrown before thee; deal thus with them in the time of thine anger.

I don't deny that a message of the Lord will be met with the hardness of men's unrepentant hearts, either in times of old and today. We are but servants who plant and water and leave the results to Him who judges righteously. But even Abraham pleaded for the souls in Sodom and Gomorrah.
Do you see sinful people as more undeserving of grace than yourself?

We are going in circles at this point. I do hope your warnings of judgment lead many to repentance. I'll catch the ones who respond to mercy. That way we'll get everyone.

I haven't seen any of them repent, nor even acknowledge the truth of God's words and commandments which they disdain, but I have seen them maltreat all the faithful. So it is no good for them.

Yet 38 days and the Lord will break the power of the nations.

Perhaps your results are due to your message. Fire and brimstone is a hard message to hear.
Are you saying there is a judgment event coming in 38 days?

Jonah 3

1 And the word of the Lord came unto Jonah the second time, saying,
2 Arise, go unto Nineveh, that great city, and preach unto it the preaching that I bid thee.
3 So Jonah arose, and went unto Nineveh, according to the word of the Lord. Now Nineveh was an exceeding great city of three days' journey.
4 And Jonah began to enter into the city a day's journey, and he cried, and said, Yet forty days, and Nineveh shall be overthrown.
5 So the people of Nineveh believed God, and proclaimed a fast, and put on sackcloth, from the greatest of them even to the least of them.
6 For word came unto the king of Nineveh, and he arose from his throne, and he laid his robe from him, and covered him with sackcloth, and sat in ashes.
7 And he caused it to be proclaimed and published through Nineveh by the decree of the king and his nobles, saying, Let neither man nor beast, herd nor flock, taste any thing: let them not feed, nor drink water:
8 But let man and beast be covered with sackcloth, and cry mightily unto God: yea, let them turn every one from his evil way, and from the violence that is in their hands.
9 Who can tell if God will turn and repent, and turn away from his fierce anger, that we perish not?
10 And God saw their works, that they turned from their evil way; and God repented of the evil, that he had said that he would do unto them; and he did it not.
The prophets were the Old Covenant, in the New Covenant we have better promises, Jesus also said the kingdom of God comes not by observation, Luke 17:20,21, and as it appears both Moses and Jesus as well as other events in scripture, Noah is another, which helps the number 40 to be significant in numerology, 33 is another interesting number.

We're not to the fire and brimstone part yet, though now that you mention it it may be a good idea to mention that not only will they be broken right here on earth, but God shall throw them into the hellfire also afterwards.. God already began judgement against them, and the judgement will continue too even after God breaks the power of the nations until one of two things happens. The first scenario is the wicked society will acknowledge their grievous offenses and how they do try to gaslight God and how they did evilly against his faithful and how they rewarded and defended the wicked always, and if they do this God is able to restore everything he will take away from them. The second scenario is this; they double down in their wickedness for the hardness of their hearts and try to fight God and God will fight them until he utterly consumes them and makes a full end of them.

God doesn't care about numerology, nor will God regard such witchcraft. Seek dilligently his word rather than the wizards and practicioners of divination, for it is by the word that God operates and will make plain what is right and what is wrong, what is past and what is to come.
