If it helps, the passage you quoted mentions crucifying Jesus all over again. One thing, Jesus will never be crucified again. So this is rhetorical. It's not exactly talking about what you seem to think it is. I know, the verses standing alone without context scary verses, but calm down a bit.
Hebrews is a tough book, with lots of context that spans dozens of paragraphs that all must be considered simultaneously to create a comprehensive understanding of message of this book. Not everyone can do that so this book is often totally misunderstood. I wouldn't recommend reading just a few verses out of context and then begin questioning your salvation.
Do you have faith in the Son of God and what He did? Jesus repeatedly said that if you believe in Him then you're saved. It's the life, death, resurrection of Christ we put our faith in and His blood that gives us forgiveness of sins.
Matthew 26:28
28This is my blood of the covenant, which is poured out for many for the forgiveness of sins.
If you have sinned, then confess it to God.
1 John 1:9
9If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.

@Runningman I'm not taking the verse out of context. I have actually read almost every commentary regarding the verses. It's actually been a long process to arrive at this point. I've blasphemed the Holy Spirit and sinned against Light and my heart has gotten progressively harder. I was diagnosed with psychosis and was forcefully injected with an antipsychotic and I no longer sense God. The injection has affected my serotonin and dopamine receptors. After the injection I felt my hard harden even further while experiencing more spiritual blindness. During a pivotal time in my life i rejected God's way and His command and think I have rejected His truth and have been under strong delusion since. Long story short I feel that I'm too far gone but still hope that I can be restored somehow. Would God's grace ever soften my heart?

I have returned to a life of sin like the dog returning to its vomit. I feel that my every act now is crucifying Christ afresh as I no longer sense God and don't sense that I'm living for Him. My heart has been hardened and there is enmity for Christ. I'm like the book of Jude when it mentions of being twice dead.
While you still have breath, there still is hope, especially given repentance.

My words are commentary, too. If you’ll read the context, the “open shame” it”s referring to is a contrast between Christ and to the animal sacrifices the Jews used at the temple. The animal was sacrificed out in the open, again, and again, and again year after year. That doesn’t happen to Christ and that’s the point.
Christ was sacrificed one time, one and done. As I said, there’s a broad context and it’s all about the supremacy of Christ.
so let me ask you a question, if I may.
Have you:
1. Once been enlightened
2. Tasted the heavenly gift
3. Shared in the Holy Spirit
4. Tasted the goodness of the word of God
5. Tasted the powers of the coming age
and if I may, will you please explain what the powers of the coming age are to you?

If it is yes to all of the above then Hebrews 6:4-6 says it's impossible because it would result in "crucifying the Son of God all over again and subjecting him to public disgrace" which, again, doesn't happen because Christ was only sacrificed one time.
If I may suggest, this verse is actually saying the opposite of what you seem to think it does. It's impossible for a true believer to fall away because they have been enlightened, tasted the heavenly gift, shared in the Holy Spirit, tasted the goodness of the word of God, and tasted the powers of the coming age because Christ's sacrifice is perfect and animals aren't.
If I may suggest, this verse is actually saying the opposite of what you seem to think it does. It's impossible for a true believer to fall away because they have been enlightened, tasted the heavenly gift, shared in the Holy Spirit, tasted the goodness of the word of God, and tasted the powers of the coming age because Christ's sacrifice is perfect and animals aren't.

I don't think that's what the verse means. It is saying if yes to all of the above and if you fall away that you cannot be renewed to repentance because you would be in effect crucifying Christ afresh putting Him to open shame. It would mean that you had the full knowledge of truth and rejected it and would represent a heart so hard that you have rejected Christ. That is the state that my heart is currently in.

I ask God to humble me pretty much every night. I also ask Him to do it as painlessly as possible

I got severely humbled recently and it was the only thing that changed my heart on this particular thing. Sometimes that’s what it takes. We get comfortable, complacent, and shortsighted then the next thing we know we’re knee-deep in sin. Hopefully it won’t take the same kind of consequences i experience for you to learn the hard way.
Please make every effort to reject the sin(s) you’re doing and never do them again starting now if possible. Pray to God, confess, and ask Him to help you. I don’t know what you’re doing but it might require avoiding certain things, distancing yourself from certain people, or whatever it takes.

I think hardened heart is a common issue. You have not described your situation so it is hard to give specific advice.
A lot of people have a hardened heart against those with different politics, religion, other viewpoints...to the point of hating a person (in some cases). A lot of prejudices are built this way and give rise to wars, etc.
Also, a lot of people have a hardened heart over individual/personal issues that lead them to avoid reconnecting people, strengthen relationships, etc.
Hardened heart can also be caused by unforgiveness or also a misunderstanding.

I also suffer from hardened heart, one example I'll give is that some relatives were mean to a grandparent years ago. The same relatives are "nice" people (though they don't admit they treated my grandparent badly) but I can't forget how they treated my grandparent. So, if I get upset with them over even a small issue I am reminded of their past. There are also other similar examples.

Isn't it God who removes the hardness from our hearts? Simply ask him and keep on asking. God is faithful - we just need to submit to His will.

Peter may have thought that he "fell away" too. But Jesus ALREADY (as in earlier than his failure) prayed for him that his faith fail not.
Peter never "changed gods". Neither did David. Neither do we.
BTW.....Heb 6 is likely the most misapprehended chapters in all the Bible along with Heb 10.

Cry to the Lord for help and don't stop until you get an answer. This will give you hope because I guarantee if you don't give up He'll answer and tell you what to do.
I was in a seriously bad state of despair at on point in my life. I didn't know what to do; I didn't know what I needed; but I remembered what was in the Bible, that God helps those who humble themselves and turn to Him. So I just began praying Lord, help me. That was all; but I meant it and was ready to do whatever it took. He started showing me what I needed to do. I completely upended my life. I moved to another state. Was homeless for three and a half years, but those were the best years of my life because it taught me to depend on Him.
You may not need to go to that extreme, but just become willing to do whatever He asks of you. He knows much much better what we need than we do. He sees the future, we can't, but in a very limited sense.
