This verse might apply to this thread. And interesting to read previous verses of 1 Kings 3.

1 Kings 3:24 And the king said, Bring me a sword. And they brought a sword before the king. 25 And the king said, Divide the living child in two, and give half to the one, and half to the other.
I was told there would be no math.
Parts is parts.

I'm a toenail also. When clipped I am sharpened like a two-edged sword.

1Ki 3:27 Then the king answered and said, Give her the living child, and in no wise slay it: she is the mother thereof.
1Ki 3:28 And all Israel heard of the judgment which the king had judged; and they feared the king: for they saw that the wisdom of God was in him, to do judgment.

...He says when asked why he does not talk about sin , and he said because people are burdened enough...
"Please don't pull them from the fire, you might hurt their feelings. They are burdened enough."

Sinners need to come under conviction. When this happens, it is a good thing. God called us to reap them, not grease them.

Joel Osteen is not a false preacher. He focuses on good thoughts like the scriptures tell us to.

Don't let @Cameron143 anywhere near them!
Don't worry. Socks are anathema to me. I don't even put up stockings at Christmas.

I'll be honest though. I am rethinking this policy as hanging sandals presents a whole new set of problems.

Without consideration of Joel Osteen, those that handle the word of God are to bring forth the whole council of God.

This should always be a consideration in choosing a pastor.
