My real concern here is that christians get caught up in trivial stuff while real threatening things are happening.
Absolutely.

There is real evil happening, real witchcraft and paganism promoted in the zeitgeist; in schools and colleges and in social media and tv and books.
For example Joe Rogan promotes spiritual use of hallucinogenic drugs. Religious use of a certain hallucinogenic has been approved in Canada. This is real danger. No one is going to look at that yard and be actually lead into witch craft. But we have actual real threats.
This is true. Right now, a little boy is being raped somewhere and a little girl is being struck in the face with a closed fist. Just because those things are happening . . . right now . . . should not dissuade a person from doing what is Pure, Right, and Holy . . . right now.

But, I do see your argument. Imagine being in a trivial thread arguing about this crap when there is real sin taking place. Why would anyone do that when there is real danger? So yes, I see your point.

is this a typical street/front yard in the US around this time of year? I mean does everyone do this, cos I know some neighbours in nz go crazy with lights at christmas. But only if they can afford it. What do they do for easter? Giant bunny rabbits?

If you took the photo and posted it here, did you talk to them about it, or you just want us to judge them?

Im sure in the Ukraine their yards, if they have any, are even worse.

I love this Scripture. Did you know that John 9:39-41 is the utter core of the Gospel of Jesus Christ? Do you use it when you share the Gospel with others?
Usually when I share the gospel with someone, it is some one who is struggling with some terrible thing in their life, and I am ministering to them accordingly. So I dont have a set plan, except to listen and then respond according to the leading of the Spirit in the word.

The world if full of the lost. Its no surprise to me what ever they do, whether it be evil or ignorant. However there is real evil. Men who seek to derail faith where ever they find it. These concern me. They will intentionally take someone who has the beginings of faith or someone who has faith but little knowledge and attempt to steer them away, or cause gross sin in their life there by destabilizing them.

In a small town north of Houston there is a guy who does a huge drive through "Christmas" display; full of lights and typical worldly symbols of the season along with Christian symbols. He charges money to drive through the display. Where the drop box for the money is, there is a sign that tells what he uses the money for. He gives it to some charity for children. I forget what exactly (its been a long time since I have been there) but its a really good thing that he does with the money.

I don't get it. Snacks took a photo of someone's yard who decorated it for everyone else to see (and judge). Snacks is in the wrong? So what is worse? Snacks taking photos of a yard intending to be photographed or you, a "sister," putting the screws to Snacks in front of us all?

I Truly do not understand today's "christian" spirit. We are supposed to be supporting one another; encouraging our Spiritual Family. Why can't we do that here? Why can't we just be kind to the Family?

I hate to be the weird one here...
I'm new here(I believe you know that already).
I believe that we all are God's Children.
We are all supposed to have a particular mindset as regards things like this...

So why the arguments??

Why such division?
Great question!

One day is a celebration of the birth of Christ while the other is a celebration of evil spirits. My judgement is just in the eyes of God.

Lets all take pics of 2ndtimothys yard and judge him on what it looks like just for fun.

anyway, I dont think you need to do much decorating your yard if you ALREADY have a haunted house. But it seems rich people in america want to make their homes deliberately trashy to scare people.

Anyone who was scared of Halloween decorations probably needs to go see a therapist or something

Christmas actually has nothing to do with christ. It's a pagan holiday

Look at the word Christmas closely and see Who’s Name is in that word. Pagans don’t celebrate Christ.

They don't celebrate Christ's birth, but they do celebrate Christmas.
