Jesus makes clear that they do not hear because they reject.

John 8:45 And because I tell you the truth, ye believe me not.

They rejected Jesus. Because He told them truth they did not want to hear, they stopped their own ears.
You still dont get it. Jesus tells us who it is that hears Gods word Jn 8:47

47 He that is of God heareth God's words: ye therefore hear them not, because ye are not of God.

He that is of God is the equivalent of being born of God, thats who hears spiritually and understands spiritually Vs 43

manipulating Scripture to align with your erroneous dogma does not change Scripture to what you claim.

I have shown you from Scripture that you hear then believe then sealed with that holy Spirit of promise.

The sealing takes place at the time a person is born again. The sealing represents ownership:

Sealed = Greek 4972 sphragízō = to seal (affix) with a signet ring or other instrument to stamp (a roller or seal), i.e. to attest ownership, authorizing (validating) what is sealed – HELPS Word-studies.

You don't want to believe what is written? That is on you. You are stopping your own ears ... just like those folks Jesus talked to in John 8:45.
Again, in the context of Salvation, Justification, when we see that some believed, it presupposes they were born anew, they believed by Grace. It never means a unregenerate natural man believed. The natural man its written 1 Cor 2:14

14 But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.

We all agree it is God Who justifies freely by His grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus (Rom 3:24).

You do not agree with Rom 3:25 when you disregard faith:

Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in His blood – Romans 3:25.
No, there isnt any agreement whatsoever, you reject being Justified freely through the redemptive death of Christ Jesus because you dont believe a person Christ died for is Justified by Grace prior to their believing.

And you dont believe in Faith in His Blood since you dont believe His Blood alone Justified those He died for, which truth Faith testifies to in ones mind and conscience.

 so none of those OT folks were justified because the Lord Jesus Christ was crucified after they lived their lives??? Your dogma does not withstand even the slightest scrutiny ... let go of your error.
The OT Saints and NT Saints were all Justified by the Blood of Christ. They all were Justified by Christs Blood before they believed. They all are born into the world as Justified, ungodly sinners, however a time will come when they will be quickened by God, given Faith to become believers.

Yes you do deny the testimony of Christs resurrection which testifies that all for whom Christ was delivered for, He rose because of their Justification, which you deny Rom 4:25

25 Who was delivered for[because of] our offences, and was raised again for[because of] our justification

you're just making stuff up in order to align Scripture to your dogma.

Romans 4:3 quotes Genesis 15:6. Period.

You want to manipulate Scripture to have it line up with your erroneous dogma? that, again, is on you.
Abraham believed the Gospel preached to him in Gen 12, Paul confirms that in Gal 3:8

8 And the scripture, foreseeing that God would justify the heathen through faith, preached before the gospel unto Abraham, saying, In thee shall all nations be blessed.

Now righteousness was revealed to him through the Gospel Rom 1:16-17

16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.

17 For therein[The Gospel] is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith.

Now Gen 15 came later after Gen 12 !

the one who is blind is the one who manipulates Scripture in futile attempts to align Scripture to erroneous dogma. :sneaky:

Romans 4:3 quotes from Genesis 15:6 and your redirection to Genesis 12 is error on your part.
Friend Im afraid you are under Gods judicial blindness because you are unable to receive the Truth.

nope ... born a sinner and justified when they believe ... just as is written in Scripture:

Romans 4:

20 He [Abraham] staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief; but was strong in faith, giving glory to God;

21 And being fully persuaded that, what he [God] had promised, he [God] was able also to perform.

22 And therefore it was imputed to him for righteousness.

23 Now it was not written for his sake alone, that it was imputed to him;

24 But for us also, to whom it [righteousness] shall be imputed, if we believe on him that raised up Jesus our Lord from the dead;

25 Who was delivered for our offences, and was raised again for our justification.

5:1 Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ

vs 24 – righteousness is imputed when a person believes on him that raised up Jesus our Lord from the dead ... not before.

vs 1 - therefore being justified by faith ... the text does not read "therefore being justified before faith".
Oh no, a person who Christ died for, satisfied Gods Justice for, and took away their sins, now they are born Justified from all their sins, even though they are born ungodly sinners like the rest. Then because they are Justified by Christs blood, they are born again by the Spirit, given the Gift of Faith, and by that they are Justified in their renewed mind heart by Faith, they now see their Justification wrought for them back at the Cross when Jesus died for them. The Resurrection of Christ back then was a testification of their Justification by His death Rom 4:25

Yes but its reasonably implied!
you proved my point.
No, again its reasonably implied, as long as you believe sinners Christ died for, and paid the penalty of their sin debt, still end up dying in those same sins and unbelief anyway.

nope ... truth of Scripture

Romans 5:1 Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ

nope ... truth of Scripture

Romans 1:

18 For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold [Greek katechō] the truth in unrighteousness;

19 Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed it unto them.

20 For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse

In vs 18, the words "who hold" are translated from the Greek word katechō which means to suppress, restrain.

In vs 19, we see that God has revealed Himself to those who suppress the truth in unrighteousness.

In vs 20, we see that those who suppress the truth in unrighteousness are without excuse.
.
That passage concerns the reprobate, people Christ didn't die for and are under Gods wrath. If you understood the bible, you would know that if Christ died for people Gods wrath for them has been propitiated 1 Jn 2:2, Gods wrath isnt revealed from heaven on anyone Christ died for.

 more manipulation of Scripture. The Lord Jesus Christ died for the world ... the whole world ... and whosoever believeth in Him should not perish.

Some folks believe the lie of the adversary and end up being cast into the lake of fire due to their own decision to reject that which God has so freely provided for them to be saved.

God's stated desire:

Ezekiel 33:11 Say unto them, As I live, saith the Lord GOD, I have no pleasure in the death of the wicked; but that the wicked turn from his way and live: turn ye, turn ye from your evil ways; for why will ye die ...
.
Again Heb 9:12 shows them Christ died for are Justified

12 Neither by the blood of goats and calves, but by his own blood he entered in once into the holy place, having obtained eternal redemption for us.

The Gospel makes known the Lord Jesus Christ.

The Word of God makes known the Gospel.

In addition to the Gospel, the Word of God makes known the wisdom of God in a mystery, even the hidden wisdom.

The Gospel is the Gospel ... not hid but proclaimed throughout the Word of God from Genesis to Revelation.

The hidden wisdom is the hidden wisdom and is revealed to those who are mature, of full age (1 Cor 2:6). And God continues to reveal deeper truths to the born again one from the time he/she is first born again as he/she feeds on the Word of God.

God expects the born again one to grow up spiritually to the point where he/she is not tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive (Eph 4:14).
The natural man cant understand the Gospel, its foolishness to him 1 Cor 2:14

14 But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.

nope ... no faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, not a child of God

Galatians 3:26 For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus.

A person is a child of God before faith, they are given faith as an evidence of their sonship. The fact that Christ came to redeem them proved they were Children of God already. Gal 4:1-6

Now I say, That the heir, as long as he is a child, differeth nothing from a servant, though he be lord of all;

2 But is under tutors and governors until the time appointed of the father.

3 Even so we, when we were children, were in bondage under the elements of the world:

4 But when the fulness of the time was come, God sent forth his Son, made of a woman, made under the law,

5 To redeem them that were under the law, that we might receive the adoption of sons.

6 And because ye are sons, God hath sent forth the Spirit of his Son into your hearts, crying, Abba, Father.

God sends the Spirit to regenerate the redeemed sons, heirs, not to make them son, but because they were already sons.

Again they were already children when they enter the world in flesh and blood Heb 2:14

14 Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he also himself likewise took part of the same; that through death he might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil;

I see you are very unlearned and ignorant of these basics.

Your continued manipulation of Scripture does not negate the truth of Scripture.

Jesus makes clear that they do not hear because they reject.

John 8:45 And because I tell you the truth, ye believe me not.

Scripturally, a person is considered to be of God when he/she does not reject the truth of Scripture when the gospel is spoken to him/her and he/she is born again of God.

Natural man is not of God ... natural man is "of" their earthly father and mother.

Once a person is born again, he/she is of God because at that point, he/she is born again of Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit seals him/her and is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession:

Ephesians 1:

13 In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise

14 Which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of his glory.

vs 13 ... hear ... then believe ... then sealed with that holy Spirit of promise = regeneration

vs 14 ... the word "earnest" is translated from the Greek word arrhabṓn, which means

arrhabṓn ("down-payment pledge") is the regular term in NT times for "earnest-money," i.e. advance-payment that guarantees the rest will be given. (arrhabṓn) then represents full security backed by the purchaser who supplies sufficient proof they will fulfill the entire pledge (promise) – HELPS Word-studies

The earnest of the Spirit represents full security backed by the Purchaser Who supplies sufficient proof that He will fulfill the entire pledge.

God is the Guarantor ... the earnest of the Spirit represents the full security that the entire pledge will be fulfilled. He is faithful Who promised.

So they need to have "experience of the new birth" (which is to be born again) in order to be born again???

Under your erroneous dogma, how many times must a person be born again before he/she is really, truly, really, really, really, scout's honor born again???
.
Nothing has changed, in order to hear spiritually the word of God, Jesus one needs to be of God Jn 8:47

47 He that is of God heareth God's words: ye therefore hear them not, because ye are not of God

So if a person heard the word of Truth, the Gospel as Per Eph 1:13

13 In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise,

Then they were born of God, then after that they believed.

a person must believe in the Lord Jesus Christ.

Romans 3:

24 Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus:

25 Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God;

26 To declare, I say, at this time his righteousness: that he might be just, and the justifier of him which believeth in Jesus.

a person is not "declared ... Justified" until he/she believes the Lord Jesus Christ arose from the dead.

Romans 10:

9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.

10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

11 For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed.
.
A Person Jesus died for, is Justified by His Blood even before they are born into this world. Then sometime in their life they will be born again by the Spirit, and brought under the preaching of the Gospel, and they will hear the good news of their salvation and believe.

Justification by God is manifested by the Resurrection of Christ 3

1 Cor 2:7

7 But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, even the hidden wisdom, which God ordained before the world unto our glory:

This Wisdom of God in a Mystery the Apostles Preach is nothing less than the Gospel of Christ, and its hidden wisdom , permanently so for them that are lost 2 Cor 4:3

We know that the Wisdom of God here in 1 Cor 2:7 is the Gospel of Christ, because he had just written this 1 Cor 1:24

24 But unto them which are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God, and the wisdom of God.

Also the Gospel is the Mystery of Christ Eph 6:19

19 And for me, that utterance may be given unto me, that I may open my mouth boldly, to make known the mystery of the gospel,

Col 4:3

3 Withal praying also for us, that God would open unto us a door of utterance, to speak the mystery of Christ, for which I am also in bonds:

So now understand, when we read in 1 Cor 15:3

3 For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures;

This is speaking the Wisdom of God in a Mystery, and hidden to them that are lost, and the things that Christ accomplished by His death must be revealed to us by His Spirit 1 Cor 2:10

7 But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, even the hidden wisdom, which God ordained before the world unto our glory:

8 Which none of the princes of this world knew: for had they known it, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory.

9 But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.

10 But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God.

And Faith is a fruit of the same Spirit Gal 5:22, and through the Spiritual fruit of Faith from the Spirit, God gives one testimony of their Justification by the Blood of Christ, yet the Justification preceded the Faith, for the Resurrection declared that to be so Rom 4:25 !

John 8:45 And because I tell you the truth, ye believe me not.

They rejected Jesus. Because He told them truth they did not want to hear, they stopped their own ears.
You still dont get it.
I "get" more than you think I "get".

Your point is that only those who are chosen by God can or will hear the Word (i.e. limited atonement).

My point is that Jesus specifically tells us in John 8:45 who does not hear ... those who do not believe ... those who reject when they hear. They stop their own ears.

Your claim is that a person is regenerated, then they hear, then they believe.

I have provided Scripture which shows that your understanding is not in alignment with Scripture:

Ephesians 1:13 In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise

Hear ... then believe ... then sealed with that holy Spirit of promise = regeneration

No I do not reject that I (and all who are justified) have been justified freely. Justification cost me nothing ... justification cost God a lot.

What I reject is your erroneous dogma in which you claim:

No, those He died for do not have to believe it, accept itor do anything but continue being ungodly sinners

I do not agree with your continuous and ongoing manipulation of Scripture wherein you rearrange the wording of Scripture in order to align Scripture to your dogma. That is not proper workmanship.

I also do not agree with your ripping a verse from the context within which the Author of Scripture placed it and then using the verse to prop up your erroneous dogma That is not proper workmanship.

The Bible is the Word of God, literally "God-breathed" (2 Timothy 3:16), and we are commanded to read, study, and understand it through the use of good Bible study methods and always with the inspiration of the Holy Spirit to guide us (1 Corinthians 2:14). Our study is greatly enhanced by maintaining diligence in the use of context because it is quite easy to come to wrong conclusions by taking phrases and verses out of context. It is not difficult to point out places that seemingly contradict other portions of Scripture, but if we carefully look at their context and use the entirety of Scripture as a reference, we can understand the meaning of a passage. “Context is king” means that the context often drives the meaning of a phrase. To ignore context is to put ourselves at a tremendous disadvantage.

Here are samples of statements you have made which appear to imply that justification is limited to those who were born after the crucifixion:

For instance, Christ died for certain peoples sins back in 33 ad, now some of those certain were born in 1952, 1957 ad. Well they were Justified before God by the death of Christ back in 33 ad when Christ died for their sins and rose again for their justification !

If one for whom Christ died came to faith in 2002, Christ had already died for their sins centuries prior and doing so had put away their sins before they had being.

now say one for whom He died was born in 1952, they were born with their sins forgiven by what occurred for them in 33 ad when Christ shed His Blood

The implication of your statements is that only those born after the crucifixion of the Lord Jesus Christ were "born with their sins forgiven by what occurred for them in 33 ad" (i.e. the crucifixion).

Based on your statements that "Christ died for certain peoples sins back in 33 ad" and specifically those born after the crucifixion, I pointed out the oversight in your dogma concerning believers who lived before the crucifixion:

 so none of those OT folks were justified because the Lord Jesus Christ was crucified after they lived their lives??? Your dogma does not withstand even the slightest scrutiny ... let go of your error.

You have now agreed that that OT believers were justified during their lifetimes and they did not have to wait until 33 ad when the Lord Jesus Christ was crucified.

Abraham believed the Gospel preached to him in Gen 12, Paul confirms that in Gal 3:8

First of all, we were discussing what is written in Romans 4:3. Romans 4:3 specifically relates to Genesis 15:6. Romans 4:3 does not relate to what is written in Genesis 12.

You finally understand that point, so now you're redirecting to Galatians 3:8 in your desperate attempt to align Scripture to your dogma.

Galatians 3:8 relates to what is written in Genesis 12.

However, you know what is not stated in Galatians 3:8 and in Genesis 12? Neither Galatians 3:8 nor Genesis 12 state that Abraham believed God and it was counted to him for righteousness.

Both Galatians 3:8 and Genesis 12 confirm that God told Abraham In thee shall all nations be blessed.

Galatians 3:6, again quoting Gen 15:6 (not Gen 12) states Abraham believed God and it was counted unto him for righteousness.

Do not conflate Gen 12 with Gen 15.

Do not conflate Rom 4:3 with Gal 3:8.

Rom 4:3, Gal 3:6, Gen 15:6 are all related to each other.

Gal 3:8 relates to Gen 12.

2 Corinthians 5:19 To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation.

18 For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold [Greek katechō] the truth in unrighteousness;

That passage concerns the reprobate
The passage explains that there are some who hear the gospel and suppress the truth in unrighteousness.

Romans 1:

16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it [the gospel of Christ] is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.

17 For therein [in the gospel of Christ] is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith.

18 For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness

19 Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed it unto them

vs 16 – the gospel of Christ is the power of God unto salvation to everyone who believes.

vs 17 – the righteousness of God is revealed in the gospel of Christ.

vs 18 – those who do not believe the gospel suppress the truth in unrighteousness. And please note, the verse does not state (as you erroneously claim) that they cannot hear the gospel. The verse says that when they hear they suppress the truth in unrighteousness.

vs 19 – further corroborates that God reveals Himself and some reject God. Again, the verse makes clear it is man who rejects God.

Romans 1:21 – 32 reveals the downward spiral to the endpoint of the reprobate mind. No one is born in that state. The reprobate mind is the result of man stepping further and further away from God. As a person continues to suppress the truth in unrighteousness, there are downward steps to the reprobate mind:

vs 21 – foolish heart becomes darkened which results in behaviors shown in vss 22-23

vs 24 – given up to uncleanness which results in behaviors shown in vss 24-25

vs 26 – given up to vile affections which results in behaviors shown in vss 26-27

vs 28 – reprobate mind which results in behaviors shown in vss 28-32

Again Heb 9:12 shows them Christ died for are Justified
 more manipulation of Scripture.

The natural man cant understand the Gospel, its foolishness to him 1 Cor 2:14
If you understood the bible, you would know that 1 Corinthians 2:14 relates to the hidden wisdom ...

However, according to 1 Corinthians 2:6 you must be of full age to comprehend that truth.

1 Corinthians 2:

6 Howbeit we speak wisdom among them that are perfect [Greek teleios = full grown, adult, of full age, mature]: yet not the wisdom of this world, nor of the princes of this world, that come to nought:

7 But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, even the hidden wisdom, which God ordained before the world unto our glory:

Before you can comprehend the truths revealed to those who are of full age, you need to feed on the milk of the word so you can grow up:

1 Peter 2:2 As newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the word, that ye may grow thereby

nope ... no faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, not a child of God

Galatians 3:26 For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus.
A person is a child of God before faith, they are given faith as an evidence of their sonship. The fact that Christ came to redeem them proved they were Children of God already. Gal 4:1-6
 Do you not recall what is written in Galatians 3:26??? ... just a couple verses before Galatians 4:1???

Galatians 3:

26 For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus.

27 For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ.

28 There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus.

29 And if ye be Christ's, then are ye Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise.

In Gal 3:26-29 we come to understand a person is:

vs 26 – a child of God through faith in Christ Jesus

vs 27 – if baptized into Christ, put on Christ

vs 28 – no Jew / Greek; no bond / free; no male / female because all one in Christ Jesus

vs 29 – if a person belongs to Christ, then Abraham's seed and an heir according to the promise

and have you forgotten what was written in Galatians 3:24 ... just a couple of verses before Galatians 3:26

Galatians 3:24 Wherefore the law was our schoolmaster to bring us unto Christ, that we might be justified by faith.

A person is under a schoolmaster (the law) until he/she comes to faith in Christ..

now continue reading the verses you submitted:

Galatians 4:1 Now [now that you are a child of God by faith in the Lod Jesus Christ] I say, That the heir, as long as he is a child, differeth nothing from a servant, though he be lord of all

How many times does God have to tell you that we are justified by faith before you believe Him???

God tells us over and over and over we are justified by faith (Gal 3:24, Rom 3:28, Rom 5:1, Gal 2:16, Gal 3:11). And, as I have told you, it is not faith that justifies ... it is God Who justifies. That is why it is so crucial that we place our faith in the One Who justifies ... we are not to place our faith in the lies of the adversary

hahahahahahaha!!!

The one who denies "Justification by Faith" is the one who claims:

No, those He died for do not have to believe it, accept itor do anything but continue being ungodly sinners
 ... lie from the pit of hell.
you deny Justification by Faith
yawn ... another tired accusation from brightfame52 aka accuser of the brethren.

brightfame52 said:
One can be Justified by faith only when they were Justified before Faith by Jesus Christs blood alone
 ... more of your born again in order to be born again dogma. How many times under your erroneous dogma must a person be born again before he/she is really, truly, really, really, really, scout's honor born again???

Jn 8:47

47 He that is of God heareth God's words: ye therefore hear them not, because ye are not of God

So if a person heard the word of Truth, the Gospel as Per Eph 1:13

13 In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise,

Then they were born of God, then after that they believed.
 conflating what is written in John 8:47 with what is written in Ephesians 1:13 is improper handling of Scripture.

John 8:45 clarifies what is written in John 8:47 ... the Lord Jesus Christ told them the truth and some did not believe. In their rejection, they stopped their own ears. Others who did not reject (stop their own ears), heard

Ephesians 1:13 states a person trusts after he/she hears ... then sealed with that holy Spirit of promise after he/she believes.

You manipulate Scripture, the precious Word of God to your own detriment.
