He became our high priest

Our intercessor

He became our advocate

He became our atonement to die for sin

same he became our scapegoat to bear it away

He became our apostle and prophet

our teacher , our brother , our father , our friend

He became the brazen serpent of Moses

He became the bread raining from heaven

He became the living water

Jesus became God among us and everything we can ever need

Acts 13: 30; But God raised him from the dead: and he was seen many days of them which came up with him from Galilee, etc.

1st Corinthians 6: 14; And God has both raised up the Lord and will also raise up us by his own power.

2nd Corinthians 1: 9; But we had the sentence of death in ourselves, that we should not trust in ourselves, but in God which raiseth the dead.

2nd Corinthians 4: 14; knowing that he who raised the Lord Jesus will raise us also with Jesus and bring us with you into his presence.

Acts 17: 31; For He (The Lord God our saviour 'The Son of Man') has fixed a day in which he shall judge the whole world with justice by means of a MAN he has CHOSEN. He has given proof of this to everyone by raising that MAN from death. (The great one thousand years Sabbath the Day of the Lord)

In the Old Testament Jesus hadn’t been born in the flesh but he’s always been and will always be do you agree there’s only one God ? I’m sure you do that’s a bit rhetorical but

The ot is before jesus came in the flesh , the gospel is when he came and then after he returned to his eternal state of glory

Jesus isn’t a second individual it is God who became one of us fully and overcame death on our behalf and made a way for us to live and not die and then returned to his glory

Our God saw us lost without anyone to save us so he became someone to save us

We may have doubted like thomas seeing Jesus and not realizing he’s the creator but we’re believers

Its important we understand who Jesus is and that God is one of you’ve received the holy spirit , the father and son are with you

For just as mankind had developed within the bodies of our animal ancestors, 'The Son of Man' is the spirit that is developing within the great pregnant androgynous body of EVE who has become the body of mankind, and the umbilical cord that binds him to his sinful mother body will be severed after the great seventh day Sabbath of one thousand years, when heavenly fire will descend and incinerate all physical life forms on this planet as revealed through the prophet Zephaniah.

It is then that the great androgynous body of EVE is reunited with her Lord. It is HE to whom Benjamin refers in his last Testament to his children, where speaks of '' He who descends from his high point in time and enters the first temple [Jesus] where He is treated with outrage and hung upon a tree, and when the veil that temple is torn, the spirit of God shall be poured forth as fire upon the Gentiles.

It is He who abandons his servant Jesus on the cross as he cried out, ''My God, my God why have you abandoned me.'' as he ceased to be a living entity by releasing all the righteous spirits on which he had evolved in his ascent to the heights of time, and three days later those saints with Jesus as their head came out of their graves and went into the city and revealed themselves as the risen Christ.

At any rate, God works everything for the good of those who love Him. I'd been hoping to locate the eye of the storm of doom and gloom currently circulating so I could spread my wings and catch the updraft and soar above it all. And, looking at the Zephaniah reference sited above, I turned the page, knowing by experience in encountering God's wrath that I would eventually experience God's lovingkindness somewhere along the journey, to chapter 2 where it is written:

It is called the Eucharist, the breaking of bread, the last supper, and its more commonly known reference, is that of Communion. The times range from once a month, to once every week In examining the scriptures, one will find that the event Christians observe which they call communion is actuality the Passover, and it should be observed once a year.

A FEAST OF THE LORD The following verses show that Jesus and His disciples, by observing the Passover, were directly obeying a commandment of God.

In (Leviticus 23:1) And the Lord spake unto Moses, saying, (2) Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, Concerning the feasts of the Lord, which ye shall proclaim to be holy convocations, even these are my feasts (4) These are the feasts of the Lord, even holy convocations, which ye shall proclaim in their seasons. (5) In the fourteenth day of the first month at even is the Lord's passover.

One should take note of the fact that verse (2) and (4) point out that these feasts are feasts of the Lord. Contrary to popular belief, the Passover does not belong to any particular group of people. As indicated by scripture, the Passover belongs to the Lord for it is the Lord's Passover.

DISCIPLES PREPARE FOR THE PASSOVER The verses in Leviticus show why Jesus and His disciples observed the Passover. Next the following verses, taken from the book of Luke, will clearly show, that the meal, which Jesus and His disciples were partaking of, was that of the Passover.

Jesus required of His disciples to go and prepare a place for the Passover. Luke (22:8) And he sent Peter and John, saying, Go and prepare us the Passover, that we may eat.

This verse makes it clear, that Jesus is instructing His disciples, to go and acquire a place, so they could observe the Passover and partake in the Passover meal. (9) And they said unto him, Where wilt thou that we prepare? (10) And he said unto them, Behold, when ye are entered into the city, there shall a man meet you, bearing a pitcher of water; follow him into the house where he entereth in. (11) And ye shall say unto the goodman of the house, The Master saith unto thee, Where is the quest chamber, where I shall eat the Passover with my disciples Jesus informed His disciples, as to where they would find the place, where the Passover would be held. Note in verse (11), again mention is made of the fact that they will be partaking in the Passover meal.

The following verses confirm that the disciples did acquire the place where the Passover would be held and that they were sitting down to eat the Passover meal.

Luke (22:13) And they went, and found as he said unto them: and they made ready the Passover. (14) And when the hour was come, he sat down, and the twelve apostles with him. (15) And he said unto them, With desire I have desired to eat this Passover with you before I suffer.

Verse (15) again, here Jesus is saying they are going to eat the Passover meal. The next day He was crucified, however that does not warrant the changing of the name, of the event. The fact remains that it was the Passover meal, regardless if one calls it the last supper or the Lord's supper or any other name they may chose to refer to it as.

WHAT THE PASSOVER REPRESENTS The Passover commemorates the exodus of the children of Israel from Egypt by the hand of the Lord. Israel had been in captivity in Egypt for over 400 years. Because of Pharaoh's refusal to release the children of Israel from bondage, God afflicted Egypt with plagues. The last plague issued was the killing of all the Egyptians first born. A death angel was to pass through the land, and to ensure that their first born would be spared, the Israelites were instructed by God, to mark their door posts with the blood of a lamb. The death angel would see the marking and thus pass over the house that had blood.

CHANGE IN THE PASSOVER While Jesus and His disciples were commemorating the Passover, Jesus gives His disciples a set of instructions. In (Matthew 26:26) And as they were eating, Jesus took bread, and blessed it, and brake it, and gave it to the disciples, and said, Take, eat; this is my body. (27) And he took the cup, and gave thanks, and gave it to them, saying, Drink ye all of it; (28) For this is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many for the remission of sins. (29) But I say unto you, I will not drink henceforth of this fruit of the vine, until that day when I drink it new with you in my Father's kingdom.

Jesus told His disciples to eat of the bread, for that represented His body, and He told them to drink of the cup, for that represented His blood. Jesus tells them, His blood is of the new testament, and it is shed for the remission of sins. Jesus is speaking of the fact, that He will be crucified for the sins of man and we know that, it is only through the shedding of Jesus’s blood, that men can receive forgiveness for their sins. Hence Jesus became our sacrificial lamb. You will find in the Gospel of Luke where Jesus told them to partake in this meal in remembrance of Him.

(Luke 22:19) And he took bread, and gave thanks, and brake it, and gave unto them, saying, This is my body which is given for you: this do in remembrance of me.

Now Jesus said to do this in remembrance of Him, the above shows that He is speaking in reference to observing the Passover. Again the Passover has a set time when it is to be observed , the 14th day of the month of Abib. This is the time that God appointed, for its observance. It should not be celebrated at the discretion of man.

Thanks for posting about the Passover. It is fun to look at ceremonies from the Bible since they provide illustrations of God's plan, if correctly interpreted, to know what they represent. In Christ, remember, we do not have to do certain ceremonies in order to please God. If we are already in Christ, the things those ceremonies represent are fulfilled in us by God. We don't need to tell someone that they need to go back to the time of Moses and do the ceremonies, or to do the ceremonies today, which are a shadow or a picture describing the reality of being in Christ. Christians KEEP the passover, if they are in Christ, and he has paid for their sins by his own blood. Paul had something to say about those who wanted to remain under the ceremonies of the law: "Christ is become of no effect unto you, whosoever of you are justified by the law; ye are fallen from grace. " (Romans 5:4) "For in Jesus Christ neither circumcision availeth any thing, nor uncircumcision; but faith which worketh by love. "(Romans 5:6)

The (AS WAS SUPPOSED) in brackets, was a later interpolation by those who would have you believe the false teaching of the so-called virgin birth.

Round brackets are used to insert additional information into a text (usually an explanation or an afterthought).

In the different translations of the KJV into Arabic, Afrikaan, Zulu, etc and even some of the more modern English translations, such as the Good News Catholic Study Edition Bible, the words (As was supposed) have been retained, but the brackets are removed, thus by, making those words appear to be the declaration of Luke, while the serious biblical student know that they were not written by Luke, but were a later interpolation and a corruption of the Holy Scriptures, by those Christians, who refuse to accept that Jesus was not a God who became a man, but a man, born of human parents, who was later CHOSEN by the Lord our saviour ‘The Son of Man,’ as his heir and successor, and who was given divine glory, as revealed in Acts 3: 13; where it is said that the God of our ancestors, the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, has given divine glory to his servant Jesus etc.

Jesus, the first-fruits to be harvested from the body of mankind is now incontestably divine and sits in the heavenly throne of our Father, where in Revelation 3: 21; He invites all those who like himself, are able to win the victory over the ruler of this world, to sit beside him in his throne.

Revelation 2: 17; “To those who win the victory I will give some of the hidden manna. I will also give each of them a white stone on which is written a new name that no one knows except the one who receives it.

Verses 26-28; To those who win the victory, who continue to the end to do what I want, I will give the same authority that I received from my Father: I will give them authority over the nations, to rule them with an iron rod and to break them to pieces like clay pots. I will also give them the morning star.

It amazes me how any intelligent person can be deceived into believing the false teaching of the so-called virgin birth of the man Jesus.

The actions of these women were committed in the shadows beneath the wings of the Lord of Spirits, who has declared these women to have acted in righteousness. Jesus was born according to the power/workings of the Holy Spirit, as was Isaac, who was born to Sarah the half-sister to Abraham.

Why do you think Matthew who was inspired by the Lord to write his gospel, would count Mary the mother of Jesus among women such as Tamar, who played the prostitute and seduced Judah, her father-in law into having sex with her, Rahab the madam of a whore house in Jericho, Ruth, who with sexual cunning deceived Boaz into marrying her, and Bathsheba who committed adultery with King David, all righteous women in the eyes of the LORD.

Galatians 4: 29; At that time, the child born according to the flesh [Ishmael] despised and persecuted him, [Isaac] who was born according to God’s promise and the workings of the Holy Spirit.

Isaac, who is the prototype of Jesus, was born of a brother/sister relationship and born of God’s promise according to the power/workings of the Holy Spirit, and Isaac was the biological son of Abraham and his half-sister Sarah, who were both sired by Terah by different mothers: just as Jesus, who was born of God’s promise according to the power of the Holy Spirit, was the biological son of Joseph and his half-sister Mary, who were both sired by Alexander Helios.

Isaac, was offered up as a sacrifice by his father on the same mountain that Jesus, who had been chosen as the heir to our Fathers throne, was offered up. But both lived on, as God had prepared a replacement sacrifice for them. The replacement for Isaac, was a sheep, the replacement for Jesus, was the one year old unblemished lamb of God, [Enoch] who, at the age of 365, the number of days in a calendar year, was taken to the throne of the Most High in the creation and anointed as his successor, to serve God before the body of Adam/mankind into all eternity.

Just as Isaac the promised seed of Abraham was born through the union of Abraham and his half-sister Sarah according to the workings of the Holy Spirit, so too, the man Jesus, the reality of God’s promise to Abraham, was born according to the workings of the Holy Spirit and born of the union of Mary and her half-brother Joseph, who were both sired by Heli=Alexander Helios.

Chapter Two we learn that this young maiden, Miriam, was a child of sorrow. Her father, Heli, a Davidic and Hasmonean prince, called Alexander Helios III, was apparently executed, in the world where many Davidian aspirants, as the “young lions of Judah”, were eliminated by the cruel and tyrannical King Herod the Great., Etc.

A son of the famous Boethus family of seven sons, Mary’s great-great-great grandfather, arrived into Jewish history as one of the giants of the priests of the House of Zadok. The High Priest Hananeel (Ananelus) the Egyptian/Jew was privileged to sacrifice one of the nine red heifers before the temple of Herod was destroyed in 70 AD.

The great grandfather of the biblical Jesus was Yehoshua/Jesus III, who was the high priest[FF1] in Jerusalem from 36 to 23 BC and is believed to have been murdered at the orders of Herod the Great. The sonless Yehoshua, had three daughters, Joanna, Elizabeth and Anna/Hanna, whose mother was from the tribe of Asher.

Knowing that his Zadokian lineage would become extinct unless his daughters were placed with future husbands according to the Torah, he married them off to chosen husbands.

Joanna, was betrothed to Joachim from the non-royal genetic lineage of David. The second daughter of Yehoshua III, was Elizabeth. This was the Elizabeth, who, at a very advanced age was to become the mother of John the Baptist in 7 BC, a year before the birth of Jesus and some 16 years after the death of her father ‘Yehoshua/Jesus III,’ in 23 BC, and she was betrothed to a Levite priest by the name Zacharias of the priestly course of Abijah.

The young Davidian prince Heli, [Alexander Helios III] the son of Mattathias ben Levi, was chosen by Yehoshua/Jesus III the high priest in Jerusalem, as the candidate to marry his daughter Hanna/Anna.

Jehoshua III, the High Priest until 23 BC, is supposed to have died three years before the birth of his grand-daughter ‘Mary.’ If it was his death that ended his period as high priest in Jerusalem in the year of 23 BC, this would mean that Mary was born in 20 BC, the same year as the birth of Philip the son of Herod and his young Jewess wife, ‘Cleopatra.’

Therefore, Mary would have been 7 years old when her father Heli was murdered in 13 BC, and 14 years old when she gave birth to Jesus, who was born in 6 BC, two years before the death of Herod the Great in 4 BC, making Mary about 47 years old when Jesus, the first of her three biological sons, was crucified.

Jesus is not what we think of as a human being getting married and having a baby. Mary is like a surrogate, and that's not a technique that humans have mastered either. Maybe even the ovum was prepared by God himself, but Mary became pregnant because of it.
