Christians approach the Word with a confirmation bias toward defending flawed doctrines so it falls on us to test everything. Many don't like being tested...it hurts when a more profound truth is presented, and it requires the letting go of previously held beliefs.

When Jesus deflected the title of good master to Him who alone is Good you ought to understand why he did this!

What a testimony Christ was teaching not only about himself and the latent desire to sin with him but also about His God.
The Lord looks down from heaven upon the children of men, To see if there are any who understand, who seek God.

There are two (2) verses that may be used to support the belief that Jesus Christ raised himself from the dead, and a couple dozen verses that plainly and clearly say that God raised Jesus Christ from the dead. Do the math.
If Jesus raised himself from the dead, was he really dead? And if Jesus wasn't really dead, did he really pay the price for our sins?

Jesus here was referring to the religious rulers as per 1 Corinthians 2:7-8
7 No, we declare God’s wisdom, a mystery that has been hidden and that God destined for our glory before time began. 8 None of the rulers of this age understood it, for if they had, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory.
Like I said\, and I will say it again...Jesus destroyed all those who would be deceived by the Lust of the Flesh, the Lust of the Eyes and the Pride of Life....here you referenced the religious elite who desired to retain their power under Roman rule by crucifing their Messiah.
I don't know what you are reading into the text buts it's as clear is the cloudless sky I'm looking at outside my window.
