- Why is the book of Samuel essential to understanding the Bible?

- Well, Israel rejected God by asking for a human king!

- They have been into trouble since then!

- But moreover, it shows that no human king or government has something to do with God!

- The only government coming from God will be God's kingdom that Jesus will lead after he comes as a warrior to clean the earth!

- Is it possible to understand the Bible without feeling the book of Jeremiah?

- I don't think so because in this book God speaks about his deep feelings !

- And we are told about the condamnation about Israel and Judah and mankind!

- By remembering what happened to Israel and Judah we can imagine what is going to happen to mankind!

- Nobody can say I didn't know!

- Anybody can read the Bible and study it and speak about it!

- It is easier to stay blind and deaf!

- But it won't help!

- Is it possible to understand the Bible without feeling the book of Isaiah?

- I don't think so because in this book God speaks about his deep feelings about Judah!

- Like the books of Job and Daniel and Samuel, we get precious information about God!

- When you listen to many people, it is evident they don't have this kind of information otherwise they would speak differently!

- When you think that many people will spend their lives without such information, they will completely misunderstand the Bible!

- Remember that the Bible has two parts which are interconnected!

- You miss one, you miss the whole!

- Someone puts paragraphs about Job among other pages about what the Bible is about!

Three false friends came to Job. In a series of speeches that fill many pages of the book of Job, the men wrongly tried to convince Job that God was punishing him for hidden sins. They even claimed that God neither finds pleasure in his servants nor puts trust in them. Job rejected their faulty reasoning. With confidence, Job declared that he would maintain his integrity down to death! But Job made the mistake of becoming overly concerned with justifying himself. A younger man named Elihu, who had been listening to the entire debate, spoke up. Elihu reproved Job for failing to appreciate that the vindication of YHWH God's sovereignty is far more important than the vindication of any human. Elihu also strongly rebuked Job’s false friends. YHWH God then spoke to Job, correcting his thinking. Pointing to many marvels of creation, YHWH God gave Job a lesson in man’s littleness compared to God’s greatness. Job humbly accepted the correction from God. YHWH God, being “very tender in affection and merciful,” restored Job’s health, gave him double his previous wealth, and blessed him with ten children. (James 5:11) By keeping integrity to YHWH God while under severe trial, Job successfully answered Satan’s challenge that humans would not remain faithful to God if put to the test.

  • Here is my answer:

  • That's good: the three men are false friends not real friends!

- The question is : is Elihu better than the three others?

- In the book of Job, we have nothing like that!

- Then we can remember what God says about Job:

- There is no one like him on earth!

- Meaning he is the best example of faithfulness!

- We must also remember it is a fight between the devil and God!

- Job is just a toy for the devil!

- Job has no idea of the devil!

- His only reference is God!

- Job has an extremely strong relationship to God!

- The devil can do everything except kill Job!

- God can't do anything!

- He must stay impartial!

- Thus Job is completely left alone!

- Everything and everybody is against him!

- The devil uses waves of weapons against him!

- He doesn't let anyone interfere in his game!

- He is controlling everything and everybody!

39) Interconnections

- We can compare the Bible and the brain!

- The brain and the Bible have two parts!

- Using only one part is like having a stroke and being hemiplegic!

- The brain has different regions and the Bible has different books!

- Our abilities depend on different regions!

- If one region of the brain is not used or is damaged implies that abilities are missing!

- Now a neuron can connect with a lot of other cells and neurons!

- The possibility to develop these connections is connected to stimulations and learning!

- It is the same with the Bible!

- The more books we study and speak about the more connections we develop between the books!

- The more knowledge we get!

- The reverse is also true!

- It only depends on us, not on others!

- For a believer, when he doesn't study and speak about God's word daily it's like he had the brain of a child which doesn't develop!

- He can always decide to start again!

- And for the one who stops studying and speaking about God's word it's like having Alzheimer!

- If we don't breathe we die!

- If we don't study and speak about God's word we are dead spiritually!

41) My answer:

https://www.nhs.uk/conditions/coma/#:~:text=People who do wake up,the damage to their brain.

Some people may recover from these states gradually, while others may not improve for years, if at all. See the page on disorders of consciousness for more information about these conditions. People who do wake up from a coma usually come round gradually. They may be very agitated and confused to begin with. Some people will make a full recovery and be completely unaffected by the coma. Others will have disabilities caused by the damage to their brain. They may need physiotherapy, occupational therapy and psychological assessment and support during a period of rehabilitation, and may need care for the rest of their lives.

- I remember a youngster who was in a coma for 2 weeks!

- He had to learn everything again (reading, writing, speaking, eating, walking, remembering...)

- Let's think about the astronauts when they come back from space!

- Just speaking about walking, the more time they spend in space the more difficult it is for them to walk when they come back!

- Let's think about surgeons!

- They cut parts of the body!

- It seems like butchery!

- When Jesus spoke about death he compared it to sleep!

- That is being unconscious!

- In the Bible when people are resurrected they just walk as if they had been sleeping!

- In the Bible when people are cured it is as if they had never been ill!

- No butchery, nothing!

- And in just a moment! https://petergoeman.com/full-list-of-resurrections-in-the-bible/
