Well good on yah! Another thread.

Funny though that you will not come right out and say you are not Oneness devotees.
I am attempting to win Oneness folk to the doctrine of the Trinity; so it is expedient for me to be as they are and to count myself as one of them.

But you know what? I got agreement for my prayer that that person's word will fall to the ground. And since we are both believers, I know that I have the thing that I have asked for.

It irks you, doesn't it, that people might be saved because of this thread?
Oh my. Still on that then are you?

You can pray to grow wings and jump off a cliff. Still gonna hurt when you land.

You can hold hands with 27 people just like you but it is God's will you need to agree with. If you pray with another for harm or cursing or to make everyone's minds go blank...forget what you or someone said...that is considered witchcraft.

So all someone here has to do is pray with another believer that you do a 180 in your beliefs and it will happen?

Let me guess. It only works when someone like you understands scripture differently then the intended meaning and only in your mind.

Got it.

I see you also have a case of the false accuser...saying I am irked if someone is saved. You know who else like to falsely accuse? Here is a hint. He tried to take God's place.

Hmmm....would you mind to like to that cause that is news to me

I attend a Calvary Chapel Bible study near me from time to time and nope...they do NOT teach what you do

And how much reasonable doubt would you like to spread around scripture? Anything you do not find that agrees with your beliefs?

Your beliefs fall apart is what falls apart though LOL!...You just cannot seem to understand that the NT ordinance for baptism is not the same as John's baptism no matter how much you want it to be.

He could be baptized 7 ways from Sunday and it would still not be the believer's baptism.

Truly, you have a personal case of the blind leading the blind.
John's baptism was a believer's baptism. They believed what John preached and then they were baptized for repentance.

satan told me that he was not going to let my doctrine prevail because he was going to have his people denounce it as heresy.

If they can have that authority, then so can I.
I am pretty sure if you were actually faced with an occasion that needed Biblical authority, the pigs would not jump over a cliff

if you know what I mean

Did he now? Maybe satan speak to you alot then? huh......could explain quite a bit

So you believe that a person who does not agree with your very obscure 'doctrines' belongs to the devil?

Do you also believe that the devil is stronger that God? Stronger than Jesus? Stronger than the Holy Spirit?

Satan only has the power YOU give him. He is already a defeated foe.

So you do not believe in baptism in the name of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Which was obvious by now.

You attend a Calvary Chapel church that teaches baptism in the name of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit so that is contentious for you

You say you believe in the Trinity but with a twist of Oneness

Yeah......none of that is sound doctrine. Thanks for that though
Actually, if you had been reading my posts, you would know that I believe that Matthew 28:19 baptism is valid as long as you acknowledge the name associated with the titles.

"antitype" means "symbol".
It is my understanding that an antitype is a fulfillment or completion of an earlier truth revealed in the Bible. Noah's flood was a type/foreshadow of the antitype the NT water baptism.

They received the Holy Ghost because God wanted to prove that Gentiles could be saved.

According to Mark 1:4, Acts 2:38, remission of sins came to them at the moment that they were baptized and not before.
Mar 1:4 John did baptize in the wilderness, and preach the baptism of repentance for the remission of sins.

Act 2:38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.

these verses do not say what you are saying

Again, those fruits may not develop immediately as the result of being baptized.

They may suddenly appear later (as with the thief).
They are already present. When they heard this...the mind...they were pricked in the heart...the heart. .what shall we do?...the will. God has already engaged their minds, hearts, and wills through the sermon Peter preached. That's how it works. The word is preached and faith comes through hearing. For by grace are you saved through faith...

It is most certainly God's will that people be saved.

And since salvation is absolutely promised through submitting to Acts 2:38 baptism, the opposite of salvation is most certainly not going to occur for those who receive the ordinance.

And God's will, will most certainly be accomplished, the moment a person submits to the ordinance.

It boggle my mind as to why some people would try to deter others from receiving such a salvation.

Are they on the side of satan? is my question.

They teach the doctrine of with, in, and upon, for certain.

Ask your Bible study teacher.

What I just said, is actually taught by Chuck Smith and the entire Calvary Chapel movement.
This is just nonsense.

While I don't listen to C. Smith, I do listen regularly to other Calvery Chapel pastors and I've never heard them speak of anything like you are promoting here. I dare to say that if you belonged to their congregation, you would probably be one of the very few that they would ask to leave, IDK?

Not that I think that it saves me. It doesn't.

Lord bless you.

Of course he cannot do what he threatened. I prayed that my doctrine would have free course and be glorified, even as it is with me.

pastor Chuck and the movement definitely teach the doctrine of with, in, and upon, about the Holy Spirit.

No, they haven't asked me to leave.

Let us believe you made a mistake when you said Chuck Smith and the entire C Chapel movement teach what you do. We will just pretend that is not what you really said as if you did say that, you either deliberately lied or you are also confused as to what is taught

The following is from the Calvary statement of faith concerning the Trinity

The Trinity
We believe that there is one living and true GOD, eternally existing in three persons: The Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, equal in power and glory; that this triune God created all, upholds all, and governs all things (Genesis 1:1; Deuteronomy 6:4; Isaiah 44:8, 48:16; Matthew 28:19-20; John 10:30; Hebrews 1:3).
