In the Beginning​

What we want to find out is when was that beginning. Was it approximately 6000 years ago or could it have been millions of years. Many Christians (dare I say 99%) will tell you the earth is about 6000 years old. Why? Because that is what they have been taught in Bible Collage, Sunday school, church, small groups etc; But is this the real truth of the Bible or are we being taught a lie by the very people we trust to teach us the truth? Either way you should be able to have been trained up so that you can be like the Bereans in Acts 17:10 And the brethren immediately sent away Paul and Silas by night unto Berea: who coming thither went into the synagogue of the Jews. 11 These were more noble than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness of mind, and searched the scriptures daily, whether those things were so.


Are you as noble as the Bereans and listen to the teachings of your Church, fellowship, bible classes, Etc. but then go home and make sure what you were taught is the truth and line up with the teachings of the bible or are you like the people of Thessalonica and do not know the truth and when you hear it,you run the people speaking it off by telling them that their ideas are to far out there and you are welcome to stay but you have to set in church and keep your mouth closed and your ideas to your self because they are just to far out there.





Lets start with 2nd Peter 3:3-7


3Knowing this first, that there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts, 4And saying, Where is the promise of his coming? for since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation. 5For this they willingly are ignorant of, that by the word of God the heavens were of old, and the earth standing out of the water and in the water: 6Whereby the world that then was, being overflowed with water, perished: 7But the heavens and the earth, which are now, by the same word are kept in store, reserved unto fire against the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men.





Verse 3 Know this first, right off bat: There shall come, it does not say there may be, or their might be scoffers in the last days walking after their own lusts, you could add their doctrine, teachings, Etc. NO it says there will be scoffers.


Verse 4. Just what are they saying? “The world has been a mess from the beginning until know there is nothing new under the sun.


Verse 5. These people are not just “ignorant” unlearned, or do not have the capability or skills to understand they are willing or just want to be ignorant of Gods word. Please remember these are not my word but God's words written by the hand of Peter.


Verse 6. What are they willingly ignorant about: The world “ earth, sky, atmosphere, that then was.” The first earth age Genesis 1:1&2 it became void and without form it perished; God completely wiped out the entire earth (we will cover that later in this study with the meanings in Hebrew, Greek, and English)


Verse 7 the second earth age the one we live in today and will until God puts and end to it and sets up the 3rd and eternal earth age and that happens when Jesus returns and sets up the millennial kingdom here on earth and then God will bring His throne here to earth to judge the people from the book of life.


Heaven is wherever God and His throne are.





Genesis 1:1 In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.





In the beginning: When was that? You can be sure it was millions or even billions of years ago.


Beginning: Strong's Concordance: # 7225. reshith beginning, chiefest, firstfruits, part, time, principal thing.


From the same as ro'sh; the first, in place, time, order or rank (specifically, a firstfruit) -- beginning, chief(-est), first(-fruits, part, time), principal thing.

God created; God made the Heavens as used here is not what we thank of as the universe it is our atmosphere; it is that protective layer that encircles

And the earth; This would be the entire globe from the highest peaks to the core or center of the earth and it was perfect there was no pollution, no holes in the ozone; the ozone would be considered that final layer of our enter-space and then you have outer space where the sun, moon, stars, Etc are.





Then you have a period meaning the end of the subject. There was a space of time between verse 1 and verse 2. A lot happened during that first earth age. I will post more later.

What were some of the things that happened during that first earth and heaven age.





Lets start with Job chapter 38


After thirty seven chapters, Job's friends continued to chatter over the same reasons for Job's troubles; and yet they all completely missed the mark. At the top of the list, they accused Job of being unrighteous and of sinning. Job was not an unrighteous man, nor did God have any part of the sickness and punishment that Job was going through, for it was Satan that brought the boils and took the lives of his family members, and yet everyone overlooked the role of Satan throughout the entire ordeal.


During all this time they had been accusing God as well as Job for many evil deeds. All the time Satan is over in the corner laughing his britches off, and applauding during the entire time. During this entire process God loved Job very much, and through this entire time of many words, Job was faithfulness to God and did not curse God in any manner. God feels the same to His elect today as He did toward Job. Job and God's elect were all chosen before the foundations of this earth age to do a task in this earth age for Him. The elect are those that are set aside to accomplish the end times prophecies, so the question to each of us is whether we are bearing up to the mark that God expects of us, or are we allowing Satan to have victory over us because we are not willing to take the power and authority that God has put within our reach.


So now we will get into God's answer to Job, when God let Job know exactly where the blame belongs for all the trouble that he has gone through. Most scholars of today say that God does not answer the question, but states that God only expects you to believe. I personally believe that God did answer the question quite well. If you will take the time to read and study the next 5 chapters you will find that to be true.





Verse 1Then the LORD answered Job out of the whirlwind, and said,


This would be the same whirlwind that is in Ezekiel chapter 1. So God shows up to talk to Job. You also need to know that Elihu Jobs friend is still here





Verse 2. Who is this that darkeneth counsel by words without knowledge?


Just who do you thank you are to cast a shadow or completely darken my counsel.


God asks Job “Who is this that darkeneth counsel by words without knowledge?" Up to this point Elihu has clammed and put himself in the position of teacher or as I would say an unofficially appointed spokesman for God. Just as Elihu and the other so called friends of Job when you twist Gods words or teaching with Church doctrine or the traditions of men that make void the word of God you are darkening his counsel.





Verse 3. Gird up now thy loins like a man; for I will demand of thee, and answer thou me.


God is telling Job to stand up put on your big boy paints and we are going to talk.





Verse 4.Where wast thou when I laid the foundations of the earth? declare, if thou hast understanding.


God was talking to Job but Elihu was stand over in the corner and God was giving him an earful as well.





Verse 5. Who hath laid the measures thereof, if thou knowest? or who hath stretched the line upon it?


God is asking both Job and Elihu with the real focus on Elihu;who I say represents all those that clam to preach, teach,etc. Gods word but in reality they are just like Elihu they are being used by Satan. If you thank yourselves so smart answer me this. Where were you when I did all this.





Verse 6. "Whereupon are the foundations thereof fastened? or who laid the corner stone thereof;"


Just how does the earth stay in its orbit, who made the gravity and everything else that is needed to keep us alive; who placed the sun in the perfect place along with the moon and the stars. Tell me you 2 if your are so smart.





Verse 7 this is one of the reasons I have come here. It is very important that you grasp the understanding in this verse or you will never really understand the fact of the 3 world ages; we will cover.





Verse 7."When the morning stars sang together, and all the sons of God shouted for Joy?"


Remember all these question start with the beginning of verse 4 “Where were you when. God could ask you the same question today. Do you know where you were when the morning stars sang together and all the sons of God shouted for joy. There is no gender here it includes men, women, sons, daughters. As I like to say it includes the good, the bad, and the ugly; I fall into the latter.


This is important verse. The morning stars these are ALL the Angles that would include Satan. All the sons of God these are the souls of ever person that ever was, that is here on earth today and those to come. Every person has to come to this earth age. They do not have to be born IE. Miscarriage, still birth, abortion etc. but at conception the moment that the woman's egg is fertilized the soul is in that egg. God puts it there.


My personal thought about those that do not make it to birth for what ever reason were just to good, to good for this world and God brought them back home before they ever had to enter it.





Take Jacob and Esau how could God love one and hate the other before they were ever born? It was because of what they did in the first earth age. Jacob staid true to God while Esau took the side of Satan.


When and how did Esau take the side of Satan?





You should know that at one time in the first earth age back when Behemoth the dinosaurs roamed the earth(Job chapter 40) and we were all spiritual beings; this was at the time that all the sons of God sang for joy. There was a cretin Cherub that guarded the mercy seat, (the thorn of God) his name was Lucifer. The bible tells us in Ezekiel 28 He was wiser than Daniel; Thou hast been in Eden the garden of God; every precious stone was,thy covering, the sardius, topaz, and the diamond, the beryl, the onyx, and the jasper, the sapphire, the emerald, and the carbuncle, and gold: the workmanship of thy tabrets and of thy pipes was prepared in thee in the day that thou wast created. Thou art the anointed cherub that covereth; and I have set thee so: thou wast upon the holy mountain of God; thou hast walked up and down in the midst of the stones of fire. Thou wast perfect in thy ways from the day that thou wast created, till iniquity was found in thee.


This Cherub, Lucifer was not happy just guarding the thorn of God He wanted to set in it and take over for God. He gathered his angles and as in all wars you have some on one side and some on the other and half or more want to sit on the sidelines and watch. God wins the war but He does not want to kill all His children that sided with Lucifer. You must remember that we are still looking at the things that happened in the first heaven and earth age. What does God do?

The Heavens and Earth were created in 6 days. That's what scriptures say. So God said it.
I would be an ignorant schmuck to say otherwise. To have a disagreement with God? Ummmm....I've seen the videos entitled "Dumb Ways To Die" but this notion takes the cake on that.
Calling God a liar? Not exactly a brilliant idea. God says what He wants and it doesn't matter whether I believe it or not. The truth is the truth. I can claim to be an Asian 9 year old little girl....but people will take one look at me and say I'm a 50-something old white guy. What I claim, going against what God has created, is not relevant.

Look, I know that scientists have this whole carbon dating thing....it doesn't matter to me or God. And even if it is somehow literally accurate and scripture is metaphorical....knowing and understanding the truth of scripture will gain me eternal life. Knowing the carbon dating of the earth benefits me in no particular fashion whatsoever. It's knowledge that has no wisdom to it.

This is you adding your ideas to the word of God. The earth overflowing with water, refered to in 2 Peter 3, is the great flood which God brought Noah, and his family through.

The Ten Commandments totally REFUTE all your speculation. And speculation is not Bible study (which you wanted to do in another thread).

When the Bible says that the earth was "without form and void" it simply means that before God created a globe He started out with a formless mass. And "void" simply means that there was no kind of life or activity on this globe at the beginning.

The Ten Commandments totally REFUTE all your speculation. And speculation is not Bible study (which you wanted to do in another thread).

When the Bible says that the earth was "without form and void" it simply means that before God created a globe He started out with a formless mass. And "void" simply means that there was no kind of life or activity on this globe at the beginning.

what about this then.. pre-creation status reoccurs in the book of Jeremiah..

"I beheld the earth, and indeed it was without form, and void; And the heavens, they had no light." - Jeremiah 4:23

This refers to the future not the past. Notice "SHALL BE" (in the future): For thus hath the LORD said, The whole land shall be desolate; yet will I not make a full end. For this shall the earth mourn, and the heavens above be black: because I have spoken it, I have purposed it, and will not repent, neither will I turn back from it.The heavens being black is a future event.

Verse 3 Know this first, right off bat: There shall come, it does not say there may be, or their might be scoffers in the last days walking after their own lusts, you could add their doctrine, teachings, Etc. NO it says there will be scoffers.


Verse 4. Just what are they saying? “The world has been a mess from the beginning until know there is nothing new under the sun.


Verse 5. These people are not just “ignorant” unlearned, or do not have the capability or skills to understand they are willing or just want to be ignorant of Gods word. Please remember these are not my word but God's words written by the hand of Peter.


Verse 6. What are they willingly ignorant about: The world “ earth, sky, atmosphere, that then was.” The first earth age Genesis 1:1&2 it became void and without form it perished; God completely wiped out the entire earth (we will cover that later in this study with the meanings in Hebrew, Greek, and English)


Verse 7 the second earth age the one we live in today and will until God puts and end to it and sets up the 3rd and eternal earth age and that happens when Jesus returns and sets up the millennial kingdom here on earth and then God will bring His throne here to earth to judge the people from the book of life.


Heaven is wherever God and His throne are.

In the beginning: When was that? You can be sure it was millions or even billions of years ago.

From the same as ro'sh; the first, in place, time, order or rank (specifically, a firstfruit) -- beginning, chief(-est), first(-fruits, part, time), principal thing.

God created; God made the Heavens as used here is not what we thank of as the universe it is our atmosphere; it is that protective layer that encircles

And the earth; This would be the entire globe from the highest peaks to the core or center of the earth and it was perfect there was no pollution, no holes in the ozone; the ozone would be considered that final layer of our enter-space and then you have outer space where the sun, moon, stars, Etc are.





Then you have a period meaning the end of the subject. There was a space of time between verse 1 and verse 2. A lot happened during that first earth age. I will post more later.

Pre-creation? That makes no sense. The heavens and Earth existed after creation. The Earth was formless and void, just as @Nehemiah6 explained to you. The heavens were without light because the sun, moon and stars had not yet been created. They came on day four.

Also...
God created time itself. God is in time but not bound by it. It's not a box that can contain Him.

so in Jeremiah there were no Sun, Moon and stars again? God had to re-create them?
