The Revised Standard Version, Catholic Edition (RSV-CE) is a Bible translation approved for use by the Catholic Church
How is that relevant? The RSV is not the REV.

You need to be more careful in digging for your dirt.

It says the Revised STANDARD Version is a Catholic Bible.

You are confusing the Revised Standard Version (RSV) with the Revised English Version (REV).

They are two different translations.

yea RSV is not the same as REV

You can go online and see they are different. But if you going to discuss or argue something from scripture how bout you both use the same translation?

Simple?

ok, so, of every Bible out there that has basically the SAME TRANSLATION, you choose the 2 that changes Verse 13?

Watcher, there is a LOT more to this than one verse, especially if the verse can be translated in different ways. Don't build a theology on one verse.

search revised English Version: it says it's a part of REB and the other i listed.

so, if it's part of those Bibles why say it's not?

this is the Verse that is being debated, is why.

if 100 translations has it one way but a lone wolf has it another way, why would YOU CHOOSE the one that is different?

The REV is not associated with the REB or the RSV in any way.

You need to PAY ATTENTION to the words you read. You're shooting from the hip, shotgun style. :)
