In terms of living, it determines whether people are homeless or able to travel the world in jets. So yes it's important in that sense. However, I believe that, in reality, nothing's really important.

Money is not important. In the end, the only thing that will remain is love. In the end people will throw their money in the streets because it will mean nothing. If you have enough to survive on then count your blessings to God in prayer. Because there are people who don't have food to eat, or a bed to sleep in.

many of your work or are seeking to be employed, right? which means money is important!! now you may say "WELL, TDWP, MONEY IS THE ROOT OF ALL EVIL!!" no it isnt! money has done good things for good people! the intent behind the ways of acquiring it is what is evil.

i bet 75% of you struggle with bills and month to month paychecks. Why do live like that?? Does God really want you to live that?? maybe you've been asking for the wrong things: better pay, or a job. Now those aren't real solutions, it doesn't matter if your blessed with a million dollars. all that money will be missed managed and will be lost!! that's the reason you struggle, because you have no financial education!

if you are interested in being financially educated, message me and i will give you some helpful readings

The love of money is the root of of all kinds of evil. 1 Tim 6:10

And money should not be important, to the point it becomes our God. When it becomes our God, then we have not put money in it's proper place. However, when money is properly placed, then it becomes a tool.

Just because you deem something 'important' doesn't mean you're worshiping it, or placing too much importance on it. If you have a wife, children, family, friends.. you would say they are important. Money is important to me.. i want to eat... i want a place to live.. i want to have electricity for my computer and other things... i want running water. Can't have those things without money. There's a difference between saying 'money is important' and 'having a lot of money is important'. funny how people think its somehow more spiritual to say 'i don't need money its not important' yet how do they react when they don't have the money they need? money is important to me, no i don't love money, or need lots.

This is an easy question!! Take a sheet of paper, and list what you can have without money, and what you can have with money. As Violakat pointed out, the LOVE of money is evil, but not the need to have it. It is inportant to have, because of what one can do with it!! With money, we can help others, not just ourselves.

I don't if you were referring to what I said. I just meant that when we start to worship money, then we are making it too important.

Let no one despise you for your youth, but set the believers an example in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith, in purity. 1 timothy 4:12 ^_^

it's important in the sense that you need it in almost all ways to live, but should it be a deciding factor for love? or for friendship? or for any other emotional attachment? no it shouldn't.
