Hi Everyone!

Just like the title says, what bible verses will prepare us for the Post-Tribulation Rapture and the Great Tribulation before that? Please no debate about whether the Rapture is Pre-, Mid-, Post- or non-existent (I'm fine either way with a rapture or gathering - doesn't matter to me as long as the Lord Jesus collects us!). There are plenty of other threads where you can debate about when the Rapture/gathering occurs ad nauseum.

Please post the verse and then do a little exposition or bible study on it or simply what it means to you in preparing for what's to come.

💗🌺🕊️🌺💗

I'll start:

When I first realized that the Rapture will be AFTER the Great Tribulation, I was honestly really afraid. I started looking at YouTube videos about prepping, growing food, purifying water, solar panels, etc. But all that just made me more anxious.

God set me straight though! He had me focus on what He instructs us in the Bible about how to prepare for the Post-Trib end times. It must start with our walk with the Lord, our trust in Him. Preparation starts spiritually, not physically.

There's actually a lot of verses, but right now I'm in Luke 12.

The first thing in this passage that pertains to the Post-Trib end times (for me anyway) is:

Luke 12:22 Then Jesus said to his disciples: “Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat; or about your body, what you will wear. 23 For life is more than food, and the body more than clothes. 24 Consider the ravens: They do not sow or reap, they have no storeroom or barn; yet God feeds them. And how much more valuable you are than birds! 25 Who of you by worrying can add a single hour to your life? 26 Since you cannot do this very little thing, why do you worry about the rest?

27 “Consider how the wild flowers grow. They do not labor or spin. Yet I tell you, not even Solomon in all his splendor was dressed like one of these. 28 If that is how God clothes the grass of the field, which is here today, and tomorrow is thrown into the fire, how much more will he clothe you—you of little faith! 29 And do not set your heart on what you will eat or drink; do not worry about it. 30 For the pagan world runs after all such things, and your Father knows that you need them. 31 But seek his kingdom, and these things will be given to you as well.

32 “Do not be afraid, little flock, for your Father has been pleased to give you the kingdom. 33 Sell your possessions and give to the poor. Provide purses for yourselves that will not wear out, a treasure in heaven that will never fail, where no thief comes near and no moth destroys. 34 For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.

So this passage for me is God telling me to not focus on stockpiling and other physical preparation. Put God and His kingdom as first priority and He will somehow provide.

I can testify that He has caused me never to be rich, but miraculously, I've always had enough and even been given things that I want and not just need. It made me appreciate just how thoughtful God is that He'd even do that to consider the things I like that aren't necessarily essential. I experienced this early in my walk with Him and through out the rest of my walk with Him.

I wonder how the Lord will provide for me and all the other faithful Christians out there when our ability to buy and sell gets cut off by refusing the mark of the beast, but I'm actually very confident that He will. For some Christians, He will have specific instructions to stockpile, etc. as He did with Noah and Joseph. For others, He will provide what's needed like the ravens feeding Elijah during the 3-year drought or manna from heaven during Israel's 40 years of wandering in the desert.

This passage is extremely comforting to me and took a lot of the anxiety off me. I really think God put this passage in the Bible, not only to let us know that He will take good care and provide for us, but also to give great comfort to us as well. This passage was like a big warm, protective hug from the Lord, telling me not to get scared of the coming Great Tribulation!

As you know, I am a pre-tribber, but the same verses we use for daily hardships would still apply. You have selected some fine verses. A verse that I like is...

1 Thessalonians 5:9
“For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ,”

This applies to all of us, no matter what our thoughts on the order of future events.

God bless you, dear sister and friend. (y):coffee:

Since there is no Post-Tribulation Rapture the question is totally irrelevant.

Our dear sister is bearing a burden that we were never meant to bear.

The Lord's burden is light so I'm not alone to bear it. :giggle:

Plus I'm pretty sure the Great Tribulation is in my/our lifetime. The technology needed for the mark of the beast is already here and the globalists have been working hard toward a one-world government. The one world religion has also already been set up (Abrahamic Family House) last year in 2022. The AC already exists and is working his way up the power ladder with help from Satan. The AC is none of the people we've already known about, but he will be revealed when he becomes the leader of the one-world government.

So this thread is about preparing people both spiritually (from the Bible) and physically for what is to come (some prepping, but shouldn't be the main focus - it should always be about the Lord and our trust and walk with Him).

Yeah, from what I'm reading from the Bible, it's not a great time for anyone. Many Christians are going to die. BUT at the same time, the ungodly people are going to wish they will die because God is going to make their living absolutely miserable for them and confirm them in the hardness of their heart. Some time in the chronology, that mark of the beast is going bite them in the butt:

Revelation 16:2
The first angel went and poured out his bowl on the land, and ugly, festering sores broke out on the people who had the mark of the beast and worshiped its image.

...

Revelation 16:11
and cursed the God of heaven because of their pains and their sores, but they refused to repent of what they had done.

💗🌺🕊️🌺💗

This is why refusing the mark and dying is not the worst thing that can happen to a faithful Christian. Absent from the body, present with the Lord! If you die, you're going to rest in God until we're all raptured/gathered together after the tribulation. And from that lofty position, you can eat popcorn and watch the ungodly people regretting their decision to side with Satan and the AC. 🍿

There's also a reward for certain people who are beheaded for specific reasons:

Revelation 20:4
I saw thrones on which were seated those who had been given authority to judge. And I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded because of their testimony about Jesus and because of the word of God. They had not worshiped the beast or its image and had not received its mark on their foreheads or their hands. They came to life and reigned with Christ a thousand years.

Yeah, none of us Christians are going to face God's wrath. But the Great Tribulation isn't God's wrath. It's Satan's wrath against Christians. And we shouldn't be surprised about that.

Every time God does a great work of freeing His people, Satan tries to stop God's plan by killing His people. This happened during Moses' birth as well as the Lord Jesus' birth.

And even past Biblical times. The one that stands out to me from recent history is WW2 when Satan through Hitler tried to annihilate the entire Jewish population. Why did Satan do this? It's because he knew that God was about to return the Jews back to Israel and make it a nation. He figures if there are no Jews, then God can't return anyone to Israel. I don't know what made him think he can pull this off because God still easily managed to protect a remnant and return them back to Israel and form the nation once again.

And that's what's going to happen in the Great Tribulation. Satan is going to try to annihilate all who belong to God whether Jew or Gentile. He figures if there are no Christians, Jesus won't have anyone to come to back to. But take comfort in that when Satan kills many Christians off, he's just letting them go home to God to rest until we are raptured or gathered. I also think that Satan will have Christians killed to scare/intimidate unbelievers to try to prevent them from jumping ship and getting saved by the Lord.

Some Christians will remain alive through the Great Tribulation of course - they will remain alive according to God's will. But it just sounds so miserable to be alive at that time!

Only a small portion of Christ’s body will go through the great tribulation? This is your conclusion? The majority of the body has died and is present with the Lord.

Since the Lord won't collect all of us until after the Tribulation, at the beginning of it, we'll all be there. But the AC will be given power to conquer us (Revelation 13:7), plus will behead those who refuse the mark of the best (most of which comprise Christians). So by the end of the tribulation, many Christians will have died. Don't worry. God will be keeping the Christians that died during the GT safe with Him.

Revelation 6:9 When he opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of those who had been slain because of the word of God and the testimony they had maintained. 10 They called out in a loud voice, “How long, Sovereign Lord, holy and true, until you judge the inhabitants of the earth and avenge our blood?” 11 Then each of them was given a white robe, and they were told to wait a little longer, until the full number of their fellow servants, their brothers and sisters, were killed just as they had been.

1 Thessalonians 4:13
Brothers and sisters, we do not want you to be uninformed about those who sleep in death, so that you do not grieve like the rest of mankind, who have no hope.

But if you study the end times, even other people will die too because things are going to be so bad. If you don't get murdered by the AC's minions, other people could die from a whole variety of other things such as starvation due to famine (so even if you have the mark, if there's no food, this mark is still useless), pestilences, wars, yada yada yada.

Really? Do you even know the purpose of the Tribulation? And do you even know the purpose of the reign of the Antichrist?

You can argue about that on a Pre-Trib vs. Post-Trib thread, but not here. I won't be joining in on that though because it never gets resolved.

But you do you! If you want to prepare for a Pre-Trib rapture, then do that. This thread is about how to prepare to endure the GT to the end, even unto death or when Jesus comes to collect us after the GT.

PS - I'm so convinced that it will be a Post-Trib rapture, and this is why I started this thread. If anything, when the AC shows up and we're all still here, this thread may help people out.

That passage is regarding the disciples, who did not have homes and lives like most people but who were travelers who would spread the gospel. They could not stockpile or plan things out like those who had normal lives that were in place and stable. None of that applies to those who may live during the trib.

Christ spoke of things that take place BEFORE the trib, during the trib, and what happens AFTER the trib in Matthew 24, Mark 13, Luke 21. Noah is mentioned and compared to the return of Christ. He spent a long time building (preparing) and stocking up to be able to live in the Ark. That symbolizes the time before and during the trib and of course the end result was life in a new land which is a metaphor for life after the second coming.

We are warned not to take teh mark, that is controls who can buy or sell. So, how does someone enter the trib and plan to eat unless they stock up and plan for it? Unless you plan to eat manna from heaven 3 times a day for 42 months, you might want to plan for that.

Really? Do you even know the purpose of the Tribulation? And do you even know the purpose of the reign of the Antichrist?
a bit like a refiners fire for the faithful

“These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation:

but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.”
‭‭John‬ ‭16:33‬ ‭KJV‬‬

And when they had preached the gospel to that city, and had taught many, they returned again to Lystra, and to Iconium, and Antioch, confirming the souls of the disciples, and exhorting them to continue in the faith, and that we must through much tribulation enter into the kingdom of God.

And when they had ordained them elders in every church, and had prayed with fasting, they commended them to the Lord, on whom they believed.”
‭‭Acts‬ ‭14:19-23‬ ‭KJV‬‬

“If ye were of the world, the world would love his own: but because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you. Remember the word that I said unto you, The servant is not greater than his Lord. If they have persecuted me, they will also persecute you; if they have kept my saying, they will keep your's also.”
‭‭John‬ ‭15:19-20‬ ‭KJV‬‬

The world is changing over to this more and more Christian’s will never be left alone in a world like this

“This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.”
‭‭2 Timothy‬ ‭3:1-5‬ ‭KJV‬‬

those people belong to and often have power in this fallen world because of satans presence in earth the persecution and tribulation Jesus and all his apostles foretold the church would endure until the end of the world is because we aren’t of the world we have a kingdom elsewhere we reject the worlds ways and choose Jesus as king as in this world at times we will face tribulation it’s going to get worse until the end

Great question. To look at it just as you said I don't know if there is one(verse). Well its one thing to say how prepared I would be but its in that moment when its really happening around you.. then you find out who you really are. Oh over the years I have seen so many believers trying to get ready as you have said "prepping, growing food, purifying water, solar panels, etc" and some moving out of the city only to find out it was not time yet. I think that's exactly it huh. No one will know when it hits. We think we know and we will be ready. Praise GOD so did Israel yet face to face with GOD the messiah they never knew Him.

For me and I always say how am I living for Christ now, today. If I am not sold out and loving Him with all my heart all my soul all my mind and loving my brothers and sisters as I love my self I never will when the great tribulation comes. How many here have had a gun pointed to your head or to someone around you or to your babies and then told "reject Him". Just to have a gun pointed at you who would you react? HAHA some get stupid. Your with your wife and two people by the bridge point a gun asking for you money.. and me.. get stupid.. I go after them chase one down threaten to .. not be nice to him if the other does no come back. The other comes back.. lol in the end I let them go saying most will not be this nice and to rethink what they did.

So you don't know who you really are until those moments comes. I pray I would be just as ready for Him then as I am now.

Actually that excludes the Tribulation period, which is not for the saints.

Rev 13:7 And it was given unto him to make war with the saints, and to overcome them: and power was given him over all kindreds, and tongues, and nations.

The beast will make war against the saints, and overcome them. That proves the saints aren't raptured away to avoid the trib. They will be killed by the beast.

Rev 6:9 And when he had opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of them that were slain for the word of God, and for the testimony which they held:
Rev 6:10 And they cried with a loud voice, saying, How long, O Lord, holy and true, dost thou not judge and avenge our blood on them that dwell on the earth?
Rev 6:11 And white robes were given unto every one of them; and it was said unto them, that they should rest yet for a little season, until their fellowservants also and their brethren, that should be killed as they were, should be fulfilled.

Actually that excludes the Tribulation period, which is not for the saints.
Based upon what ?

“For in those days shall be affliction, such as was not from the beginning of the creation which God created unto this time, neither shall be. ( the great tribulation )

And then if any man shall say to you, Lo, here is Christ; or, lo, he is there; believe him not: for false Christs and false prophets shall rise, and shall shew signs and wonders, to seduce, if it were possible, even the elect.

But take ye heed: behold, I have foretold you all things.

But in those days, after that tribulation, the sun shall be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars of heaven shall fall, and the powers that are in heaven shall be shaken.

And then shall they see the Son of man coming in the clouds with great power and glory. And then shall he send his angels, and shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from the uttermost part of the earth to the uttermost part of heaven.”
‭‭Mark‬ ‭13:19-27‬ ‭KJV‬‬

We the church have an enemy Paul Peter all of them were martyred pep still today are martyred spreading the gospel. From the time of jerusalems destruction it began the great tribulation on earth it will last until Jesus returns like he’s saying there after it all concludes and he gathers his people from earth and heaven in other words this day

“For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep.

For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God:

and the dead in Christ shall rise first: then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. Wherefore comfort one another with these words.”
‭‭1 Thessalonians‬ ‭4:15-18‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Paul’s writing that because he understands the world is going to always persecute believers it’s never going to end until the world does here is why when Jesus ascended i to heaven

“And she brought forth a man child, who was to rule all nations with a rod of iron: and her child was caught up unto God, and to his throne.

…And there was war in heaven: Michael and his angels fought against the dragon; and the dragon fought and his angels, and prevailed not; neither was their place found any more in heaven.

And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.

And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night. And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death. Therefore rejoice, ye heavens, and ye that dwell in them.

Woe to the inhabiters of the earth and of the sea! for the devil is come down unto you, having great wrath, because he knoweth that he hath but a short time. And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ.”
‭‭Revelation‬ ‭12:5, 7-12, 17‬ ‭

a next you see a beast rise up in the dragons image he’s given this authority

“And the beast which I saw was like unto a leopard, and his feet were as the feet of a bear, and his mouth as the mouth of a lion: and the dragon gave him his power, and his seat, and great authority. And they worshipped the dragon which gave power unto the beast: and they worshipped the beast, saying, Who is like unto the beast? who is able to make war with him? And he opened his mouth in blasphemy against God, to blaspheme his name, and his tabernacle, and them that dwell in heaven. And it was given unto him to make war with the saints, and to overcome them: and power was given him over all kindreds, and tongues, and nations. And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world. If any man have an ear, let him hear.”
‭‭Revelation‬ ‭13:2, 4, 6-9‬ ‭KJV‬‬

“And he had power to give life unto the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak, and cause that as many as would not worship the image of the beast should be killed.”
‭‭Revelation‬ ‭13:15‬ ‭KJV‬‬

its this state until the lord returns

“Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour: whom resist stedfast in the faith, knowing that the same afflictions are accomplished in your brethren that are in the world.”
‭‭1 Peter‬ ‭5:8-9‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Look around at the suffering brother It is t o my a non believer being tried and tested by terrible trials or persecutions or diseases or physical trials and tribulations it’s also a lot of good Christian folks.

My sister loved her life never struck a foul blow to anyone served other people her whole life believed in Jesus from the start went to Bible camps all the time then lived it all morally . Had great faith , yet she was diagnosed just after her birthday not even seventy yes old with an aggressive cancer suffered Terribly and then died before her next birthday came

this didn’t happen because he had sins to pay for or she lacked faith in God , it is because of the corruption and spiritual evil in this world constantly attacking and tempting mankind through trials and tribulation the world is life a refiners fire now since Jesus ascended we have enemies we can’t see tbat actually affect our lives

“Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness; above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:”
‭‭Ephesians‬ ‭6:11-14, 16-17‬ ‭KJV‬‬

The Lord's burden is light so I'm not alone to bear it. :giggle:
So your saying your a born again person going through the terrible horror and you don't have to bear it all by yourself ------Well isn't that great ------so your burden will be light -------well lets hope so -----as you will need a very light burden to survive this below ------

This is the chart here ------and I don't think God's burden is going to be light here -----you can hope of course -----But God's Judgment is going to be severe ------not light ------

I get a charge out of the Christians who think that the 7 year Tribulation is just the same as what we True Christians go through and experience sometimes in this world ------

Maybe the word tribulation is not the Right word for us to be using --------God's Wrath is more
appropriate ------ this is totally different ---This is God's revenge -----

Greek word for God's Wrath

orgé: impulse, wrath

Usage: anger, wrath, passion; punishment, vengeance.

3709 /orgḗ ("settled anger") proceeds from an internal disposition which steadfastly opposes someone or something based on extended personal exposure, i.e. solidifying what the beholder considers wrong (unjust, evil).

["Orgē comes from the verb oragō meaning, 'to teem, to swell'; and thus implies that it is not a sudden outburst, but rather (referring to God's) fixed, controlled, passionate feeling against sin . . . a settled indignation

NOTICE : but rather (referring to God's) fixed, controlled, passionate feeling against sin . . .

I say ------The Saints are free from God's imputed Sin ------so why are they going through God's Wrath ----

Read the horror coming ---lets hope the PRE-TRIB Rapture is what happens -------

God set me straight though! He had me focus on what He instructs us in the Bible about how to prepare for the Post-Trib end times. It must start with our walk with the Lord, our trust in Him. Preparation starts spiritually, not physically.
I say ----what is in Red I agree with -------Definitely starts spiritually -------but if one thinks they are going through the Tribulation and are Born Again ---- then a Spiritual Person would confer with the Holy Spirit to ask for direction in preparing for this event I would think -----

I say
You ----yourself question here how God will provide for you here in your post ------

For others, He will provide what's nellyeded like the ravens feeding Elijah during the 3-year drought or manna from heaven during Israel's 40 years of wandering in the desert.
LOL ---This statement you make here ------
but I'm actually very confident that He will. -------

I say ------You better HOPE ----but you don't know that is the case -you are surmising only ----

Question for you -----

So I ask you to provide us a Scripture in Revelations that tells you that God will keep His burden light on you and that you will not have to bear His Wrath alone -----

Surely God would tell His Children His plan for them during His Wrath don't you think -------He tells us in Revelation that the 12 Tribes of Israel will be Marked and kept safe ----so that says He wants them to have a peaceful mind and not worry about God's Plan for them -------

So I would think He would do the same for His Saints who He is leading into His Wrath to eradicate -sinner and sin -----

Did you know that

The Holy Spirit who restrains evil ---sin ----- in this world --will be taken from this earth during the 7 year Tribulation period so Satan and the Anti Christ will have full reign ----and lawlessness will run rampant ----2 Thessalonians 2

https://www.gotquestions.org/Holy-Spirit-tribulation.html

2 Thessalonians 2:7, which reads, “For the secret power of lawlessness is already at work; but the one who now holds it back will continue to do so till he is taken out of the way.
Right now, prior to the tribulation, one of the ministries of the Holy Spirit is the restraint of evil.

In verses 8 and 9, we learn that the restraining power of the Holy Spirit holds back the “lawless one” (Antichrist) so he is not revealed before God wills it.

The passage says the Holy Spirit will no longer restrain the growth of evil, but that does not mean He will have no ministry whatsoever.

I say -----

in your belief ------
