One thing that i don't really like about atheists is they always making fun of Jesus and tell the world, seems like they spread their nets to catch their fish by saying that Jesus is a lie, That God is not there, that God will not help you because actually he never exist.

have you ever have a conversation with atheist about this ?

I don't understand how Nawo looks scary. She maybe a little crazy sometimes but never scary. She looks fine in the picture

Not all atheists do this in my experience.

What kind of conversations are you trying to have with atheists?

I would only do the things Witty Dewi is saying if I didn't care for getting banned. But since I do (a little bit) I don't talk about my beliefs unless someone has posted something so stupid like "the devil is making me hurt myself" or has invited me to talk about my beliefs. BTW, this is a generalization.

Hi
When someone (whether he is an atheist or non-believer) makes fun of your faith or Jesus, he is in reality mocking Jesus, so I encourage you not to take it personal. In fact, I would not stay around making a spiritual conversation with the person if I know/detect his motive is just to show contempt. Nevertheless, I always remind myself that I was a non-believer once and I kind of understand why they behave this way. If God shows me that I should reach out to this person, then I would start by praying for him first.

Though you may not be able to change their thoughts, just use your knowledge of the bible and undying faith in our Lord.

For them the possibility of a just God and having to give up their sinful ways to "do good" irritates them to the core

The very idea of someone telling me what I'm doing is right or wrong because a book or other humans told him/her that an almighty entity existed and that entity cared what insignificant humans did would irritate me if I really cared.

It really does not make sense at all if you really think about it. God creates these moral rules and you follow them just because he's an all powerful entity. Even if he does exist why do you worship him? I should be able to just live life the way I want too. If I do something God does not like, so what? I shouldn't have to comply just because he created me (which I really doubt he did.)

The same way you deal with a barking dog. It doesn't matter what you tell a dog, he/she just won't get it. All you can really do is hope they stop barking at you.

Yes, I know the same thing can be said about christians from an atheist point of view.

That is not how I deal with dogs. :)

But sure, ignore the growing minority.

Remember that balance of their eternity does not hang upon you. It would be nice if we could just punch in some kind of code and presto! A new Christian is born! But it doesn't work that way. Don't waste time wondering "did I say the wrong thing?" or by being afraid to be honest about your faith because you don't feel as if you have all the right answers. It can be scary, can't it? Fortunately God is sovereign, and if He has chosen someone, then there is no way they can resist Him. Likewise, if it is not His will that they be saved, then there is nothing you can do to save them. All you can do is live as well as you can for God in front of them. Do your best but don't cry over spilled milk when you mess up, because even when you mess up it does not dismay God or impede His plans in the least. He can use all of you to glorify Himself and He will. Knowing that is a big comfort to me.

If you enter into a debate with an atheist, choose the battle ground by using the Bible as your standard. They can argue all day, "so-in-so-says..." but it isn't even valid. The Bible is true. ALL of the the Bible is true, and there is no way for them to honestly get around it. Way of the Master is a great resource (you can google it, I typed Way of the Master+How to witness). They have videos (they're pretty short, too) that you can watch that are very easy to understand (perfect for dummies like me ;) ). They deal directly with people's sin in a gentle but firm way by using the Ten Commandments as a starting point.

Also, has anyone else ever thought it interesting that people use the name of God or Jesus so much when they swear? You don't catch them throwing dirt on the names of buddha or krishna very often, do you? Also, if they truly, in their heart of hearts, believe that God doesn't exist and that every man should be able to do whatever he wants, if they really don't care, then why do so many of them spend so much time and effort trying to badmouth God and Christianity? If it doesn't matter then Christians should be allowed to their own "fantasies" just like everyone else, don't you think? Makes you wonder if they feel a little threatened sometimes... Ever played hide-and-seek with a kid who put his hands over his face and yelled, "You can't see me!"?

An atheist just believes in material things and the logic of ''if you can't see it, you can't prove it'' the world taught them to have. The existence of something " not proved" by their scientists is therefore, impossible. If a scientist don't prove something, then they don't believe it. It's more about faith...you can't do it by yourself, only God can touch their hearts.

It's more of being a realist. It's more likely that religion is made up than actually true. Never in my life have I ever experienced a supernatural event. Therefore, I figure it's more likely that there is no supernatural entity than rather it being subtle or in hiding. If you lived in this world long enough you can see the ammorality. Did you ever wonder why if we are God's creature that we live on this tiny planet while there is a whole unimaginably massive universe and that the majority of that universe is filled with empty space? This and many more observations has led me to believe that it's highly likely that any god(s) portrayed by religion is false.

To be honest I never understood this term. To believe in nothing? HUMM I met one one day,he was putting money in the pepsi machine to get a drink,I stopped him,and asked why are you doing that? he said what do you mean, you do not believe in anything isn't that right I said.he said yep true! But you are placing faith that the money you put in that machine, you will get a drink from it,are you not?? he scratched his head and walked away. There is no such thing to me as a atheist, they call themselves this just to get attention to how blind they really are in there life.It reminds me of the prophecy spoken long ago. Matt 13:14-17.blessing all.
