I was going to say 'cream' but thought of its nature to sink and thought of how whipped cream is always on top, 'unless it melts on a hot apple pie and becomes liquified and begins to slide down. Then again, it can only 'go down' whereas cream has the potential to rise so, I get it, why the answer was not accepted that is. No worries.
