That assumes that the land actually belonged to the Palestinian Arabs and Israel has illegally occupied it. What if we turn that around and say that Palestine belonged to Israel for more centuries than to any other nation, and that the Arabs were the occupiers? Going from about 1500 B.C. to 70 AD would be about 1600 years. And the one who made that possible was God. Even when other empires ruled over Israel, those emperors generally recognized who the original inhabitants were.

This is so true! In this debate, I have been so surprised to see generally based people (on many other topics) acting like Woke Commies and using plenty of the same dirty tactics ("anti-Semite" and "hatred" for Jews are two pretty common accusations, although the definition of who is a Jew is always very murky). To me, it really shows who's in the right and in the wrong. Commies wouldn't need to use dirty tricks if they weren't absolutely wrong with respect to facts. So it is with the apologists for war criminals in Israel/Palestine.

Note also they try to create a polar situation - either side with the state of Israel's war crimes against Palestinians, or take the blame for Palestinian refugees in Western nations. How about no to both? No to the support of war criminals, and no to refugees who will be incompatible with the values of Western nations.

I was particularly amused by one poster commenting that others were unhinged, when his own responses were the most emotional and utilising a number of Communist tactics.

Hopefully, in time these people will realise they've been so very wrong.

I disagree that civilians forfeit any human rights because of what other states are doing/have done.

Israel should totally annex and govern the West Bank, Gaza, and Jerusalem. Those living there should have freedom to practice any religion they want, sell and buy property as they choose, and otherwise be members of a free, thriving community. All UNDER the nation and governance of Israel. There are presently a large number of muslim arabs that enjoy the governance and prosperity of Israel. And they are citizens with rights.

We both know that's NOT what the "Palestinians" want. Virtually all of them are opposed to any Jewish presence from the "river to the sea", and ultimately globally. Numerous times, even before May 1948, they have been offered their own state, with just a tiny Jewish state alongside. They refused every time.

Plus..... God gave it to them. Let's not leave that out of the mix!

I didn't know Hamas was in the West Bank and East Jerusalem... Why are so many being killed? Not showing their papers? Protesting? Refusing to leave their homes so illegal settlers can move into them?

I remember in 2021, Israel's Supreme Court struck down a law/decision that would have made it unlawful for shooting unarmed civilians. I love when people remind us that THIS is "the only democracy in the middle east." Ridiculous. The land belongs to God, He gave it to Abraham and his descendants through promise (Isaac) and this is a legally binding document (The Old Testament). He displaced the inhabitants of the land because of their child sacrifice of both their seed (abortion) and infants (child sacrifice).

And He gave it to Abraham/Jacob/Israel. And they had to go to war to complete the transaction.
And He gave it as an ETERNAL EVERLASTING possession. The centuries of wandering due to disobedience is nothing more than a hiccup in this vast eternity.
