well you say no one was objecting during the Vietnam war,
Nope, did not say that.

but can you say for sure if social media was available then as much as it is now that there would have not been objections.
This makes no sense, you obviously are not familiar with Bob Dylan, or Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young, or Muhammed Ali.

On face book there to many objections to count, about Nearly every war since Tony Blair UK prime minister was found to be lying has now been highly objected which is how it should be but that was only 10 years ago. And only because of social media advancing because of social media platforms like face book and YouTube
This is foolish. We have had people who stood for the truth long before Zuckerberg. We also know that Youtube and Facebook are controlled platforms by the FBI and CIA.

There never has been a world wide platform for people to voice there views take for instance American soldiers poisoned in the Vietnam poisoned by there own nerve gas left with disabilities.

The Falklands war many soldiers making it known the war was not merited.

It's only thanks to Facebook and YouTube we get to see the pictures and stories that the news broadcasters never had access too and could never show.
Actually back in the days of the dinosaurs we had books, and people actually read them, and they could be published by just about anyone with a few dollars.

mohamed Ali was imprisoned for 5 years for rejecting the USA army.

Social media platforms aat the time was mainly books and the news media broadcasters, where only selected people voiced there opinion.

As for book writers whilst there stories could reach some people they could not be debated on a world wide level Like facebook or YouTube.

you got be kidding me I love bob Dylan my father's favourite singer, I gre up with his songs 🙂.

I know some of his songs and I know some of the deep emotions he sings about, like the going to war, which always did remind me of the screaming in wars and the deadly divide or images of fear pride disgrace bombs exploding thousands screaming in horror

That is true, we did not debate over topics like you see on Facebook today. Back in those ancient days we actually would have "debates" where you made a case and a plan, and one person could speak for thirty minutes, not 140 characters. One reason I never got involved with Twitter, it seemed absurd to limit speech to a small number of characters. Yes, Facebook has turned the world not into a large group of critical thinkers with carefully thought out comprehensive positions on a topic, but superficial people expressing opinions about everything and anything.

When I was younger you hesitated to express opinions because it was a lot of work. If you weren't willing to study a topic in depth you didn't want to get dragged into a debate. Today that is no longer a concern.

well the point I was hinting at more so, was stories that gained 1 million views on Facebook.

Based in a headline that news broadcaster would not dare to suggest for fear of being sued.

The point is news broadcasters because of social media platforms like twitter and Facebook can not be sued because there only repeating what a major well views article as said in theese platforms

That is not a valuable metric. Have people been well educated by these stories? Have CIA bots been used to boost ratings for their propaganda?

for certain stories maybe, I would agree on that front but i was more refering to the same old same old.

And more of a better point I was refering to the history of every single debate now on public record

The internet has not brought in more critical thinking. Nor is the computer record of a debate some new development. Newspapers were our "journal" and many people kept journals.

What the internet is doing can be seen in GPS. Prior to GPS you had to have a map and you had to know how to read that map, now everyone relies on GPS, no one has maps, no one sells maps, and no one can read a map.

Likewise no one keeps a journal, no one reads a newspaper, and you don't buy books on paper anymore. All this digital stuff could be changed overnight without anyone knowing. Dictators have always tried to "rewrite" history. Now that everyone is fully online it will be a snap for them to rewrite the history.

This video is a good description of how much the internet lies to you.

You can lie by telling the truth, you simply amplify something and make it seem much larger than it really is.

This is true for some outcomes but it doesn't make it right for all what I'm saying, which is never in the history thanks to social media has there been so much pressure put on country to end a war and violence. Stories that broadcasters would not have been able to publicise.

I've never understood people becoming so offended by someone else's view point on there skin colour anyway.

The video explains it, Tik Tok or Twitter or Youtube can amplify one incident until the majority of people will think the police killed 20,000 to 50,000 people in a year when it was around 1,000. They will think half of those people were unarmed when it is about 5%, and they will think the majority of them were black when 65% of them were white.

Another example:

At least 18600 civilians killed in this onslaught so far, what's your take on that number and that's just in two months

It is a history lesson and it makes it very clear that Palestinians are not the only "oppressed" people on this planet, and the thing they are complaining about has been greatly amplified considering all the other things that have taken place in the world over the last 75 years.

My take is

1. I hate war. I hate that we sent $140 billion + to Ukraine without an audit, without a debate, and then learned that billions came back secretly through FTX to pay for politicians to get elected who voted to send the money to Ukraine.

2. I hate terrorism. I think what took place on October 7th was despicable and should be clearly and emphatically condemned by everyone before they even debate anything else about this war.

3. I hate the fact that everyone is a liar, everyone has an agenda, everyone is pushing their narrative. Have the Israelis committed war crimes? Very likely. Has Hamas committed war crimes? Without any doubt. All of their missiles are "indiscriminate", terrorism is a war crime, hiding your identity in a war is a war crime, bases that are being protected by schools, hospitals or hostages is a war crime.

4. I want every crime prosecuted, I want them investigated, and I want the real people responsible held accountable. But I am not going to let Tik Tok, Youtube, Facebook or any other media make me biased on this issue. I have seen false flag events run by the US government. JFK, 911, Gulf of Tonkin, WMD's, Governor Whitmer kidnapping, and January 6th. Not about to be manipulated by the CIA, or Mossad, or the Arabs or the Muslim Brotherhood. I am a patient person, I was attacked and insulted and ridiculed for standing with Trump in 2020, but the truth comes out. I was attacked and insulted and ridiculed for saying Fauci was a liar and I didn't trust the vaccine in 2021, but the truth comes out. I don't mind waiting a few years for the truth to come out.

5. I am not interested in people who threaten the genocide of the Jews crying about how they want a cease fire. A cease fire does not mean an end to the bloodshed. If that were true this battle between Palestinians and Israelis would have ended in 1947. They have repeatedly organized sneak attacks on the Israelis (1967, 1983, and 2023). As far as I am concerned I support this war putting an end to that once and for all.

6. When I was growing up, if someone started a fight with you, then you had the right to end it. Hamas started this and Israel has the right to end it.

Once I was alone in the park hitting. tennis ball against a wall with a tennis racket. Two kids, bigger than me, came up and told me to give them the racket. I assessed the situation and figured I had a very low chance of winning this fight, but I did have a tennis racket and I could probably hit one of them very hard across the head. If I could take him out with one shot then my odds would greatly increase. Also, even if I lost, if it was clear that I had been in a fight my dad would not blame me for losing the tennis racket. It never occurred to me that hitting someone with a tennis racket would be viewed as a "war crime". They want to steal my racket, they started it, I hadn't done anything to provoke this.

So, I gripped the racket very strong and backed up against the wall and told them no. I knew if they were well coordinated in their attack I would only be able to get off one shot before this became a wrestling match and so I wanted to make it the best shot I could make.

They balked. No fight.

In my opinion Hamas started this fight. They don't have the right to stop it. If Israel wants to completely and utterly annihilate Hamas, rooting them completely out of Gaza, well that is something they should have thought about before they picked the fight.

Israel is a very small country surrounded by many enemies. Iran, Turkey, Russia, Syria, Lebanon, Hezbollah, Hamas, Yemen are just some of the enemies right now. Realistically if this becomes all out war Israel can inflict a lot of damage on Hamas and Hezbollah and even Iran, but it is highly unlikely they can win.

latest reports from the media that a lot of of the Israeli population have turned on there leader and want the war stopped. Seeing absolutely no point in continuing

I'm pretty certain the Isreal people would be under the most biased view of them all but here we see even them wanting it to stop..

There social media would be like your views on why this war would continue. But today on BBC news showed many Israelis now against there leader for many reasons.
