Our political system in the US reminds me of an experiment I once read about concerning chimpanzees.

The Chimps were in their own room and they could order food from one of two different servers. They could then see the servers as they brought the food. One server was corrupt, he would take a drink of their juice or steal a cookie before bringing it and they would see this. The other was clumsy. He didn't intentionally do anything bad but would trip and spill and be a clod.

It seems like those are the two choices we face in the US.

I grew up in a poor household. The neighborhood was poor. Education was frowned upon. Media, unless it was taking a clear position against anything that reeked of actual knowledge, was not to be trusted or even taken seriously.

I don’t think much has changed since then. It’s so many people in America who are just told the easy peasy Trump solution to everything. Other sources are just fake, liberal propaganda. Long as the educational level in America keeps up pacing low it’s not going to change.

Really? So that was way in the past. Did you carefully examine Trump's excellent agenda for making America great again? Or were you infected with the virus of Trump Derangement Syndrome (TDS is a real mental and emotional disorder) which sent the Leftists into madness.

As to the draft dodging (actually deferment) try to be a little objective. Even The Atlantic was objective:
