You obviously don’t read to well - after Moses accepted by most reputable scholars.
Because they are unbelieving doomed souls, who's main objective is to do the work of their father Satan, which is as follows:
Drag as many soul of the sons of Adam to the lake of fire as possible.

Wake up man. Lest you be counted among the lost.

The scribes lying in Jeremiah 8 are like the scribes lying today. They have lied about everything. A scribe is someone with a doctorate degree in divinity. Doesn't mean they wrote the Bible.
There were plenty of blind scribes back in Jesus' first advent as well......
And what were they doing? The same as the blind scribes today.

Mat 23:15
Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye compass sea and land to make one proselyte, and when he is made, ye make him twofold more the child of hell than yourselves.
Mat 23:16
Woe unto you, ye blind guides, which say, Whosoever shall swear by the temple, it is nothing; but whosoever shall swear by the gold of the temple, he is a debtor!

Please.....somebody inform @Needevidence ASAP of his folly in believing these jokers.

shame on you, trying to twist what I say and ignore and manipulate, you seem to have a trend of this.

God cannot be questioned or wrong, I clearly say previously that Genesis was written hundreds of years after. The bible says that the scribes have lied or do you only believe the bits you want and ignore what you dont want to hear - Jeremiah 8:8 .......But behold, the lying pen of the scribes has made it into a lie.
The thing is.....it is your admission itself (that you actually believe these "professors" (although they are not possessors)) that is a red flag warning that you are indeed in dire straits.

Evidently you HAVE been successfully seduced by these frauds.

Luk 16:31
And he said unto him, If they hear not Moses and the prophets, neither will they be persuaded, though one rose from the dead.

We can righty assume that Jesus is also speaking to belief in the fact that the recorded words of God thru Moses as being authentically transcribed in real time in that era and setting.

I wonder if it is because this is prophetic and essential to their misunderstanding of scripture so they cannot be objective.
How could you possibly misunderstand this....?

Jer 32:40
And I will make an everlasting covenant with them, that I will not turn away from them, to do them good; but I will put my fear in their hearts, that they shall not depart from me.
Jer 32:41
Yea, I will rejoice over them to do them good, and I will plant them in this land assuredly with my whole heart and with my whole sou

Do you really think that because God promised Israel to the Jews it means that the commandments of not murdering Palestinians and stealing their homes within the West Bank and East Jerusalem is suddenly a gray zone for you? You are uncertain about what God says about those sins?

Let's pretend we live in a world where everyone, including the Palestinians, accept and acknowledge Israel as the rightful owner and ruler of the West Bank and East Jerusalem. You are saying you don't know if it's justifiable for Jews and/or Israelis to murder and steal homes and possessions from the Palestinians that live within Israel? Anywho who isn't a Jew can be subject to death and/or having all possessions taken away by Israelis Jews "because God gave Jews the land"? You asked me earlier if I "listen to myself". Brother, are you listening to yourself?

You sound like one of those Christians who defends actively gay people as "Christians". You pretend the bible isn't clear on what it has to say about the sin of homosexuality when really you know very well it's a sin. Jews can be promised the land, but God didn't promise them Palestinian homes and personal possessions! God doesn't say it's okay to murder Palestinians living in the promise land! Get real!
I say again: leave the judging to the Lord Jesus.
Why? Because He is THE first hand WITNESS, He sees all, He knows all.

Rev 3:14
And unto the angel of the church of the Laodiceans write; These things saith the Amen, the faithful and true witness, the beginning of the creation of God;

Only Infinite God Jesus Christ can BE the Truth and know the truth. Because he has all of the information and is a first hand witness.
You cannot. Satan cannot.

Jhn 14:6
Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

nope my comment has been very misunderstood.

Genesis 22:2 - I don’t understand how 'your only son Isaac' - God would know how many sons Abraham has and confirms Ishmael as thy seed & make into a great nation.

That’s the point I was making so causes a conflict.

You may also be able to help me with, if Moses wrote;

Deut 34:5-10 – Moses death
8 And the people of Israel wept for Moses in the plains of Moab thirty days. Then the days of weeping and mourning for Moses were ended.

No. I think my reading comprehension skills are fine.

You don’t believe God’s Word is inerrant.

And don’t even believe Jesus Christ, who repeatedly quotes Moses, and attributes the quotes directly to Moses!

Gods word yes and God is all knowing - no doubt - I didn't say everything about Moses, the point being God would know if Abraham had one or 2 sons - see #4467

Abraham only had 1 son of promise.

Now to Abraham and his seed was the promise made, not to seeds.

God gave the land to Israel.
Yes God did, but God set conditions that they must follow to keep the land.

The Jews had no ancestral homeland. Is the land of “Israel” their true ancient homeland?

Promised Land
“Moses went up Mount Nebo to the top of Pisgah, looked over the promised land of Israel spread out before him, and died, at the age of one hundred and twenty, according to Talmudic legend on 7 Adar, his 120th birthday exactly.

Gen 17:20
And as for Ishmael, I have heard thee: Behold, I have blessed him, and will make him fruitful, and will multiply him exceedingly; twelve princes shall he beget, and I will make him a great nation.

Gen 17:21
BUT my covenant will I establish with Isaac, which Sarah shall bear unto thee at this set time in the next year.

Rom 9:9
For this is the word of promise, At this time will I come, and Sara shall have a son.

I have said this over and over, I do not despise Jews. There are many good Jews who only want to live fruitful lives. You on the other hand use this accusation as cover for self-gratification but to what end is a mystery to me.

One the other hand, I do despise the Israelis who use their IDF sniper teams to single out and murder Palestinian children.

I do despise the Israelis who destroy Palestinian fishing boats.

I do despise the Israelis who destroy Palestinian villages, murdering who ever is there and then build illegal settlements in the rubble over dead bodies.

Cv5, I feel sorry for you and hope you see the light of good and put away that hate that is destroying you from the inside.

BUT my covenant will I establish with Isaac, which Sarah shall bear unto thee at this set time in the next year.
Genesis 25:9 His sons Isaac and Ishmael buried him in the cave of Machpelah near Mamre, in the field of Ephron son of Zohar the Hittite,

Genesis 47:30 but when I rest with my fathers, carry me out of Egypt and bury me [ Israel ] where they are buried." "I will do as you say," he said. ;

Genesis 49:31 There Abraham and his wife Sarah were buried, there Isaac and his wife Rebekah were buried, and there I buried Leah.

Genesis 50:10 And they came to the threshingfloor of Atad, which is beyond Jordan, and there they mourned with a great and very sore lamentation:

Genesis 50:13 For his sons carried him [ Israel ] into the land of Canaan, and buried him in the cave of the field of Machpelah, which Abraham bought with the field for a possession of a buryingplace of Ephron the Hittite, before Mamre.

Genesis 50:14 After burying his father, Joseph returned to Egypt, together with his brothers and all the others who had gone with him to bury his father.

The Israeli's claim the land they now occupy the homeland of the Israelites while their great leaders were buried elsewhere; Israel, Isaac, Rebekah, Abraham, Leah and Sarah were not buried in the land we now call "Israel" but in a land called Canaan which was beyond the Jordan river.

Why is there such a disconnect from biblical history and the occupied land of today?

You bury your great leaders in your own homeland

Which Is Not the land falsely called “Israel” today

The truth will set you free

As a side note, all the Jews leave all they have behind and move to Egypt where Joseph becomes ruler second only to the Pharaoh.

The Jews thrived in Egypt because the Pharaoh gives the Jews the pest of the land to grow their crops.

Last but not least, this utopia comes to a crashing end when Moses murders a man in a public street and then buries him in the sand.

The Pharaoh tries to find Moses to punish him for this murder but before the Pharaoh can catch him, he gathers all the Jews together and flees into the desert, which marks the beginning of the exodus.

Not exactly how the Bible recounts the events there. Something about 40 years in the desert, then going to Pharaoh and after 10 plagues leads the people out of Egypt.
