He said if we do His commands. His sheep hear and follow. Those are commands to be doing.
No

He said his sheep know his voice. and he leaves the flock and goes after them, then they follow him, because they are his sheep.

Again, Why do you want to put us under law? Why won't you answer that question?

Does doing good works save you?
Good works do not save you. The people doing good works are already saved and acting accordingly as the Holy Spirit guides them. We can tell they are saved in Matt 25 because Christ calls them righteous.

The righteous people in Matt 25 are so humble they do not realized they are doing good works.

This is only a discussion. God is not double minded and You are proposing there's multiple meanings here and not one unified thought. And I believe God is keeping to one unified thought here.
Your right, God is not double minded

He does not say one thing in one place. and contradict himself in another

Jesus words here are about producing fruit and getting your prayers answered. Not about keeping saved

Which Bible version says knows His voice? The majority show this, "My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me:

How is following the commands of Jesus being under the Law?

I was Catholic and it's all about works. A lot like the Jews are today since they cannot offer sin offerings. God saves us. But we continue to abide in Him by obeying His commands. That is not works to hear Him, follow Him, love our neighbors like ourselves. It can lead to doing works. If You love Your neighbor You might end up helping them. But it begins first with following Jesus commandments to love.
You work to earn something

If you are obeying to stay saved, your trying to earn salvation by works. that makes you really no different than a catholic

No, You really need the Holy Spirit to have Your eyes opened. Obeying His commands are not the Law nor works. What kind of idealism are You pushing? Reasons to sin and claim You're good with God?

Only if you do His commands are you abiding in Him. If You do not do His commands You are not abiding and there are no works.
Abiding is not a requirement of salvation. It is a possibility made available as a result of salvation.

His promise works if You obey His commands. He said it 3 times in chapter 15.
Then you proved me right

your trying to EARN his promise by works (obedience)

You need to learn what grace is. Grace and works do not mix.. it must be one or the other.

Romans 11:6

And if by grace, then it is no longer of works; otherwise grace is no longer grace. But if it is of works, it is no longer grace; otherwise work is no longer work.

Talking of sheep we must not forget the Shepherd's part:

Matthew 18: 12 “What do you think? If a man owns a hundred sheep, and one of them wanders away, will he not leave the ninety-nine on the hills and go to look for the one that wandered off? 13 And if he finds it, truly I tell you, he is happier about that one sheep than about the ninety-nine that did not wander off. 14 In the same way your Father in heaven is not willing that any of these little ones should perish"

He tends his flock like a shepherd: He gathers the lambs in his arms and carries them close to his heart; he gently leads those that have young. (Isaiah 40:11)

God Bless You All :)

If You abide in Him You won't get cut off. Jesus showed us what we are to do. 10 If you keep my commandments, you shall abide in my love.

Who is in Heaven that God does not love?
Because God showed us how to abide in His Love through obeying His commandments.
10 If you keep my commandments, you shall abide in my love

There is no fear in love. But perfect love drives out fear, because fear has to do with punishment. The one who fears is not made perfect in love (1 John 4:18) :)

Obey is a verb. Verbs are action words. Actions denote work. You're trying to change the English language to say obeying isn't an action.
