According to the bible, we cannot determine by our feelings if we are saved or not.
Consider the apostle Paul. He lived before God in all good conscience but admits he did it ignorantly in unbelief. Just because his conscience did not tell him he was wrong in persecuting Christians does not mean that he was right with God while doing so.
Proverbs 14:12 There is a way that seems right to a man, but its end is the way of death.
Proverbs 28:26 He who trusts in his own heart is a fool, But whoever walks wisely will be delivered.
1 Timothy 1:12-14 And I thank Christ Jesus our Lord who has enabled me, because He counted me faithful, putting me into the ministry, although I was formerly a blasphemer, a persecutor, and an insolent man; but I obtained mercy because I did it ignorantly in unbelief.
