Here is your Answer:

I am going to explain something to you. And provide you two words.

1. Context
2. Authorial intent

John chapter 3: 22- 36 is not the end of the context given in the chapter and verses you are ASKING ABOUT.
Points to be made:

1. John did not write in chapters and verses that were added later to make them easy to read.
2. The context of John 3:22-36 is incomplete

If you stop at verse 36, you would have a false narrative that Jesus was baptizing. Nice games people play with the word of God

Point three: the context of Chapter 3 did not end with

john3:36 He who believes in the Son has everlasting life; and he who does not believe the Son shall not see life, but the wrath of God abides on him.”

You must read above the text given and after or blow the the text given.

This means Chapter 4

The context continues :

What is the " Therefore " therefore?

1 Therefore, when the Lord knew that the Pharisees had heard that Jesus made and baptized more disciples than John
2 (though Jesus Himself did not baptize, but His disciples), 3 He left Judea and departed again to Galilee. 4 But He needed to go through Samaria.

You use "therefore" when you are talking about the result of something.

Verse 1 of chapter four of John doesn't provide the results that were talked about before and is going to be completed.

The ending context of John chapter 3:22-36 is found in Chapter four of John in verses 1-2

Jesus did not baptize anyone in water because an eyewitness who was in Chapter 3 said so in Chapter 4 within the context of the text.

The authorial intent is to who the author was writing to, what time frame it was written in, and how we apply it today.
ok well Ill leave you you to your own understanding. 😊

But I won't be coming to your church.

more deflecting,

I ain't interested in your threats to be higher in opinion than me.

And I ain't interested in you thinking you have higher authority than me.

And as for your cheap remarks. They mean nothing to my standards 😊
I answered it.

Hey you can troll any place you like. I answered your question in-depth, providing context, Biblical support, and Proof that Jesus Never water-baptized anyone in scripture. :) I thank you for your rebuttal, or the lack thereof. It confirms I am rightly dividing the word :).

Thank you God Bless Our Services Sunday at 10AM each Sunday and prayer is on Wed at 7PM :)

Bibe Study 7 PM on Tuesday I will save a seat for you.

This is a thread for people who believe water baptism is required for salvation, if you aren't that type of person, then obviously you don't need to answer this question, as I know you will just say the man is saved, as water isnt required.

Hypothetical situations that are often brought up by people to argue against baptismal regeneration are:

1. What about someone who is ill, about to die, cries out to God, asks Jesus to save them, will they die lost because they didn't have enough time to get baptized?

2. What about someone who is on a stranded island and has no one to baptize him, dies there, will he die lost?

In my opinion both of these arguments deserve a proper response, which is why I am making this thread. Give me your case, you who believe baptism in water is required for salvation.

PS I hope this thread isnt gonna turn into 50 responses and 0 answers and everyone just saying "Its not required for salvation because of such and such." I get it, I know the arguments both ways, but im just asking our baptismal regeneration people here to answer these. Thank you for understanding.

After his suffering, he presented himself to them and gave many convincing proofs
that he was alive. He appeared to them over a period of forty days and spoke about
the kingdom of God. On one occasion, while he was eating with them, he gave them
this command: “Do not leave Jerusalem, but wait for the gift my Father promised,
which you have heard me speak about. For John baptized with water, but in a few
days you will be baptized with the Holy Spirit.”
Acts 1:3-6

It took them some time for Jesus' words to finally sink in....
For Peter, out of ignorance, continued with the water baptism ritual,
even though what Jesus said was to replace it had became evident to all.

“Do not leave Jerusalem, but wait for the gift my Father promised,
which you have heard me speak about. For John baptized with water,
but in a few days you will be baptized with the Holy Spirit.”
It took Peter a while to catch on that things had changed...

Another ridicilous claim that the apostle Peter just didnt get it and wasted time baptizing people in water. Paul wasted time as well in Acts 16? What is this modern weird theology.

I'd be interested in knowing where this idea originated. Does it have a credible source? Do you know its source? Does it even have a source that can be identified, or is it simply a fable that started on the internet?

Note Acts 19:1-6. The record reveals water baptism was still being administered 25+ years after the command was presented at Pentecost. (Acts 2:38)

Most of the time in Acts they were baptized in the name of "Jesus Christ"; however, in Acts 19:5 they were baptized in the name of the "Lord Jesus." So which is it, which is right? Or are they both right? It seems like kind of a big deal; because if someone is going to get technical and say people should only get baptized in the name of Jesus or Jesus Christ, Acts 19:5 creates a problem.
The name is used in all cases. Jesus (His name) Christ (the anointed), Lord (master, ruler), Jesus. (His name)

There is no mention of the titles, Father, Son and Holy Ghost be used in any detailed records concerning water baptism.

So there's another "Son" besides Jesus?

If we baptize in the name of the Father, and His Son Jesus, and the Holy Spirit, would that be okay?

it appears you dont like being linked to being a Muslim, but yet you don't mind asking if I'm a Muslim in another thread.

And now it appears your back to doing what you do best, which is insulting peoples intelligence. 😊 Have a great day 👍

well let's see what @CS1 has to say to this 😊.

According to scripture here, Christ must have carried out water baptism over a billion times at least.

1 Corinthians 2:16

New International Version

16 for,
“Who has known the mind of the Lord
so as to instruct him?”[a]
But we have the mind of Christ.
