Christians discuss doctrine. There are disagreements. It inevitably devolves into hurling insults or ridicule.
Why?
I could be wrong on the pretrib issue. Obviously I don't think I am. But I'm not going to tell others that they are "willfully blind", "hardened to the truth", or "get thee behind me, satan" if they do not agree with me. I admit that when others do this to me, my emotions sometimes get the best of me and I respond in kind. But it doesn't do much to further the discussion.
You disagree? Fine, present your case. But if someone disagrees there's no need to get all "holier than thou" and tell them they're deceived, of the devil, whatever..... What if, God forbid, YOU are the one who is wrong? My walk is between me and God, and if I'm wrong it's Him I'll have to answer to. Yours is between you and God.
