you who do not follow GOD's commandments want to instruct others on the commandments??? very strange indeed!
Agreed.

Strange comments

Someone said we can't keep the Sabbath

God said: Exo 20:8 “Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy.

In the garden

God said:
Gen 2:17 but of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil you shall not eat, for in the day that you eat of it you shall surely die.”

The devils first lie to mankind- the opposite of God said

Gen 3:4 Then the serpent said to the woman, “You will not surely die.

We need to be careful what spirit we are listening to. The devil is trying to countermand everything God asks and has a counterfeit to everything.

Tell me you don't know the character of the Father without saying you don't know the character of the Father.

The 10 Commandments and the Law were added because of transgressions. They were added to put limits on the consequences of sin so that the people through whom the Messiah would come were preserved. They were preserved. The Messiah came. Jesus said "It is finished."

So let me ask: What if the Jews never disobeyed God and, instead, came up into God's presence at Sinai?

Let me help: He would have never given the 10 Commandments and the Law. They would have become a kingdom of priests and a holy nation.
The law that defines sin Romans 7:7 cannot be the same law that was added because of sin. It was a sin for Cain to murder Abel and was called sin, so God's Ten Commandments was not the same law that was added because of sin because it is sin when breaking .1 John 3:4 Romans 7:7 Mat 5:19-30

Animal sacrifices was the law that was added because of transgressing God's holy law and always pointed forward to the great Sacrifice of Jesus. Heb 10:1-22 1 Cor 5:7

Sin is still the same as it always has been- breaking God's law 1 John 3:4 Romans 7:7 Mat 5:19-30 breaking one we break them all James 2:10-12

Have you ever asked why YHWH would place such importance on the Sabbath?
Simple: The "Sabbath" is a "type" of JESUS, in whom we rest, not only ONE day a week, but continuously. There's NOTHING of more importance in all creation than Jesus.

Jesus showed us what it means to live by the Spirit connecting our thoughts and feelings with obedience to the commandments teaching not to break the least of these as it affects our status in heaven.
.
Yeah, this is where you go off the rails.
It's related to believing that once God lives in you, you must "spend time with Him" on a certain day of the week... as if He doesn't live in you all the time. How silly.

We are not given the Spirit of God to obey the commandments. We are given the Spirit of God so that we may connect with Him spirit to Spirit.

I am married. There is no list of rules I've made for my wife so that she does what I want her to, acts they way she should toward me, etc. No, we are connected. We have a relationship. She talks to me. I talk with her. She can boldly approach me and ask me anything. In this way, we are one flesh.

Now imagine being one with God: we in Him and He in us... How silly it is to think knowing Him includes a list of rules about "do this, don't do this"? Are you one with Him or not? Do you not hear God in your spirit?

Obviously not, as you still need the Law of Sin and death.

If you can please find one scripture that says Jesus is the Sabbath and we no longer need to keep the Sabbath commandment. The Sabbath commandment was given to man- Jesus did not command Himself to do something for us.

Obedience to God is the way He tells us, not the way we want. The Sabbath commandment that God says to keep the seventh day holy Exo 20:8-11, is no different than the commandment to only worship Him, or not covet or not steal. Reinterpreting to what is convenient to us, is not living by faith or by His every Word.

John 14:15 “If you love Me, keep My commandments. 16 And I will pray the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may abide with you forever— 17 the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees Him nor knows Him; but you know Him, for He dwells with you and will be in you. 18 I will not leave you orphans; I will come to you.

Acts 5:32 32 And we are His witnesses to these things, and so also is the Holy Spirit whom God has given to those who obey Him.”

The Spirit calls on the unbeliever to convict of sin and to come out of rebellion to God Heb 3:7-8 if we hear His voice, but resides in those who are not in rebellion to Him or His commandments- then we receive His peace Isa 48:18

Aw, you're one of those who divide the Commandments from the Law. How sad. They were given at the same time to the same people.

Of course there was sin before the Law and Commandments were given.

"What purpose then does the law serve? It was added because of transgressions, till the Seed should come to whom the promise was made"

The Seed is here. There is no more need for the law which includes the commandments.

Not only do I follow God's commandments outwardly, I follow them inwardly. Merely setting a day apart and performing different acts does not constitute obedience. You must also understand the significance of what you are doing and what God desires in your actions to keep a commandment. Since you and others fail to make known what the law requires and why, you can't possibly be keeping this or any other commandment. You only imagine yourself to be doing so.

You cannot meet the requirements for the Sabbath. Therefore you do not keep it.

No matter how much you want to pretend you do.

Even Jesus did not keep the Sabbath according to the experts on the law of His day.

Your lack of understanding is similar. And your pretenses are not convincing.

This reply was for you also, i just forgot to add you to the reply.

You do not get it, the sabbath is also about obedience, why do you think? Who disobeys GOD? and what happens to them when they do? Have you no fear of the Lord? The Commandments are permanent non negotiable forever! it is written all over the bible
Jesus said if you Love me, keep my commandments.

John 14:21
Whoever has My commandments and keeps them is the one who loves Me. The one who loves Me will be loved by My Father, and I will love him and reveal Myself to him."
John 14:23
Jesus replied, "If anyone loves Me, he will keep My word. My Father will love him, and We will come to him and make Our home with him.
John 15:10
If you keep My commandments, you will remain in My love, just as I have kept My Father's commandments and remain in His love.
1 John 2:3
By this we can be sure that we have come to know Him: if we keep His commandments.
1 John 5:3
For this is the love of God, that we keep His commandments. And His commandments are not burdensome,
2 John 1:6
And this is love, that we walk according to His commandments. This is the very commandment you have heard from the beginning, that you must walk in love.
it's all over the place! Keep the commandments.
You have no idea what it actually is to keep a commandment. Tell me...what is involved and necessary to keep the first commandments?

No, obedience to God is the way He tells us, not the way we want.
Of course it's what He tells us: spirit to Spirit.

Under the Law, I could walk by a stone without moving it. Now, in Christ, the Lord can tell me, spirit to spirit, "Move that stone". The law has nothing against me if I pass it by. However, as a son of God with His spirit in me, I am now obligated to move the stone.

The "word" James writes about is the word given spirit to spirit. This is revelation, given personally or to believers, for direction.

"Do not merely listen to the word, and so deceive yourselves. Do what it says. 23 Anyone who listens to the word but does not do what it says is like someone who looks at his face in a mirror 24 and, after looking at himself, goes away and immediately forgets what he looks like. 25 But whoever looks intently into the perfect law that gives freedom, and continues in it—not forgetting what they have heard, but doing it—they will be blessed in what they do."

"...through Christ Jesus the law of the Spirit of life set me free from the law of sin and death."

This is the law of the Spirit of life.

I know why you don't understand this. You're blind to it until you abandon the law.

Yes, because when Jesus came we no longer need to sacrifice animals for sins, instead we can go directly to Him when we sin. Sin is still the same, breaking God's law Rom 7:7 Mat 5:19-30 1 John 3:4

If you feel you are exempt from the teachings of Jesus and we can break the least of these commandments and teach others to and it won't affect your status in heaven Mat 5:19-30 , we have free will to test any theory we want.

I wish you well in seeking Truth to God's Word.

You might consider prayerfully reading Mat 15 on what Jesus tells us who the blind are.

Come on. No one's talking about freely sinning.

I'm explaining to you a higher order than the law and the commandments given at Sinai.

2 Corinthians 3:13-15~ We are not like Moses, who would put a veil over his face to keep the Israelites from gazing at the end of what was fading away. But their minds were closed. For to this day the same veil remains at the reading of the old covenant. It has not been lifted, because only in Christ can it be removed. And even to this day when Moses is read, a veil covers their hearts. But whenever anyone turns to the Lord, the veil is taken away.

Sorry, you can't have it both ways. We don't have to obey God's law but are not sinning.

Sin is breaking God's law 1 John 3:4 Romans 7:7 Mat 5:19-30

We don't define sin or God's righteousness- God does. Psa 119:172

As servants to God we should obey God the way He asks.

Signing out for now..

God bless all in seeking God's Word.

Let me be perfectly clear.

You are in a position of "anti-Christ". When you emphasize the teachings of Jesus over the rest of the New Testament this is anti-Christ.
What you are saying is that the revelation given to Paul, Peter, John, etc. is not given by the Lord speaking to them. The revelation given to the writers of the New Testament after Jesus died is directly from Christ, given to the Holy Spirit, and then given to the writers. And, as Jesus said, these are often "greater things" than what He gave us while He walked the earth.

Anti-Christ denies this. Anti-Christ says that Christ is not a many-membered body comprised of the saints who have been transformed by the indwelling of His Spirit. Anti-Christ says things like "I will obey Jesus before I obey Paul" or "It's just me and Jesus!". No, you must consider all that is given: what Jesus said and the greater things He says from heaven by His Spirit. The food of the sons of God are the words that continue out of the mouth of our Father.
